Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

... But I posted.
Wendy nodded at Trevor’s words, seemingly believing him. The truth would surely be stranger anyways. ”Orphans? In this weather?! Oh that’s so sad. I mean... Hgn, I can’t just leave you kids alone, especially after you saved me...” Wendy seemed stuck for what to do. She had a job and she prides herself fir her timely deliveries, but was her job more important than the well-being if these children? As she pondered what to do the other Pokémon spoke to her.

The seedot described a strange looking bidoof attacking them, makin Wendy curious. ”A bidoof attacked you? Alone? That’s unusual. I’ve never heard of them being so aggressive, especially when they’re outnumbered. They’re plant eaters too, so maybe it just wanted to eat you?” A red eyed bidoof who seemed immune to the seedot’s attack was indeed unusual and Wendy didn’t have an sender for it. Maybe Nathan was just too weak to do any meaningful damage. ”I can’t say I know what else would be going on. I imagine there’s lots of bidoofs around here though, especially with these torrential rains. It’ll be the perfect time for them to come and make dams for any Pokémon who can afford it.”

Next was Celina and Vi who wanted to know if there were any towns nearby. “Closest place I remember is the Stardust Village, pass the river and to the north. Doesn’t seem to have been caught up in this heavy rain though. Not sure how you’ll get there since it seems like the wind and rain is worse over there, so much that the bridge is flooded! But I do think I saw somewhere safe.” We day hopped around and pointed a wing towards the forest, in the direction of the glowing light. ”I think there’s a berry farm in that direction. I remembered seeing it right before the murkrows attacked. A big barn with a farm house nearby, saw the lights inside on too. I’m sure there’s someone there willing to help ya. I... I wish I could do more, but I can’t stay. I need to deliver my letters.”

When Jeri asked about some berries to heal her injuries, Wendy lit up. There was a way she could help. ”Hold on a moment!” Carefully tilting herself forward, Wendy pulled out an assortment of items. A small bundle, a wooden flask, and a few colorful rocks. ”It’s not much, but I figured you should all have this. That bundle has some Lava Cookies, delicious snacks that’ll help you heal up if you’re hurt from poison or some such. This is my water bottle, but I filled it up with berry juice! One gulp and it’ll perk you right up! And these are my lucky rocks. I think it’s onlu appropriate that thanks to these stones, I was lucky enough for you all to save me, so you should have them yourself. I have a hard rock, a green shard, and an oval stone. I hope you’ll find some use for them like I have.”

Wendy starts flapping her wings, healthy enough to be able to fly under her own power. ”I think I ought to be able to at least take you guys over to the farm house if you ride in my bill. Just tell me when you’re ready to go and I’ll get us there Lickilicky split!”
@Ookawa

Alright I took way too long to get to this. Anywhoozies good rolls!

You pass the constitution check, so while the trog's corpse is still foul and disgusting, you manage to keep your guts in check and aren't sickened. You proceed to check the corpse.

With a natural 20 for a total of 22, you definitely know that this trog was killed with a long broad blade, likely a two-handed weapon of some sort based off the angle of the cut. You also know that this decapitation was it's only injury so whatever killed it managed to kill it in a single blow. Based off the stiffness and warmth of the body, it's only been dead for about one hour. Whoever or whatever killed it must be very close. Finally you can tell that this trog is both male had sex fairly recently. I'll leave it to you how you come to discern this, but it is important for one major factor: female trogs are extremely rare and often very powerful (Aka actually intelligent), and often serve as queens of sorts. Which means that this trog likely comes from a larger brood instead of simply a roaming band. This is important for two reasons: one that likely means that whatever band this trog was with isn't just hunting to sustain itself but also hunting for his brood, and two that brood will likely have various treasures and loot from dead adventurers or simply scavenged as the trog queen demanded.

Well granted the last bit is just something your character could safely infer based mainly one what little she may know of trogs. They're basically subhuman goblins. Breed en masses to fight en masses, hordes shiny things, kills anyone they can catch. Typical stuff.
Ah shit that’s right. Fuck I knew I was forgetting something. I’ll work on it soonish.
@ALonelyParrot

Yes it is suppose to be morning actually. Right now it's roughly noonish. You can still do your performance to entertain the lunch rush.
Cool. If you're just looking it'll be an investigation check. If you want to get close to the body, roll me a constitution saving throw. Then you can choose either Medicine or Investigation.
@Haeo

Most excellent! What's her name? You should name her Lucy, after me.
@Haeo

No rush dude, this RP doesn't have to go fast. Experience the miracle of childbirth my dude.
Back to Brighthaven. Indeed true to it's name, the stones the city was made of reflected what little light came to the haunted islands and practically made the place glow. But it only served to highlight the depravity and death that festered this place. Rotting, half-eaten corpses littered the streets. Rusted scraps of weapons and armor were embedded into the stonework or corpses. Occasionally birds might be picking at relatively fresh cadavers or rats scurry off to their next meal. Brighthaven's radiance just made it clear what sort of place the Ruins of Norn really was.

For better or for worse however, there was something to plunder here. Most of the inhabitants were mindless creatures or beasts who care more for meat than plunder, and thus they left behind veritable treasures or even amass a large horde of loot. All the adventurers had to do was find them. The first piece of plunder they'd run across was a almost fresh corpse of a troglodyte. These twisted, mutated humanoids were more like ravenous beasts than the mortals othey once were. The group had encountered them before and would know their tactics well enough; each troglodyte was relatively weak but had a foul odor that made anyone standing too close to them sicken and noxious. Worse still, these creatures attacked fast and ferociously; they could get in a bite and two claw attacks by the time they could attack once. Thus it would be in their best interest to attack first to prevent the monsters from overwhelming them with their vast numbers and fury.

This troglodyte corpse was still warm. It had died very recently, enough that anyone who came close could still spell it's sickening odor (Constitution Save). But anyone could see that it had obviously been decapitated. How or by what, it wasn't certain. But there was a bloody footprint leading further into the city heading east. This footprint was obviously not a trog. It actually looked more like a boot. Perhaps another survivor? Or a monster in the guise of a man? What shall our adventurers do with this information?
The battle continued as Orchid's rage fueled his body, bringing him closer towards the enemy alongside Brannor. More winged kobolds were about to take to the air and Orchid had no interest in letting them stay above him. Charging towards one he lunged at the winged creature with reckless abandon, chopping his blade down to cleave the creature in twain with his machete. Cleaving through scale, flesh, and bone, Orchid snarled and looked at a nearby kobold, using whatever momentum he had left to get into the thick of things. He wanted them to swarm Orchid and become the center of their attention, allowing the others relative safety to pick off the kobolds or focus on the more evasive ones.
