Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

As you ask your question, the figure began to glow once more. Though it only seemed that you noticed as Pylia continued to stare intently, having not seen anything unusual as you ask. And just like before you hear a voice.

”It was no dream.”

The glow fades and you hear no more. A few minutes would pass before Pylia would speak. “Did it work? I didn’t hear anything.”
Pylia shrugged. "You have to be careful about these things. You don't know if there might be some catch. I mean... I don't know anything off hand that might make it harmful, but I guess you can try. If something does happen I'll be here to help at least." Pylia looked at the figurine with a worried look and a hand on her knife in cast it does something violent.
"Talking dolls? I mean... No, not really? But I guess you just got lucky. Magic items like that aren't easy to come by." Pylia, having prepared the spell for this, raised her hand towards the small figurine. ^Detect Magic.^ Her eyes glowed as she looked towards the figurine, examining it with her special eyes. "Huh... Some sort of Divination magic. Oh right, ah this item seems to be enchanted. Has some sort of spell that can... See things, I guess you could say. Though what exactly it see's I'm not sure. What did it tell you?"
Getting the figure was somewhat difficult, as it was water lodged and stuck between the rocks, but soon you managed to pull it out. It looked vaguely humanoid, but with very long arms and short legs. It had some sort of hair made of the straw-like bristles, which felt oddly soft to the touch, like a brush. Aside from the hair there wasn’t much details to the small figurine aside from a lump where it’s face may be. But as you examine the figure there’s a faint white glow as you hear a voice speak to you.

Once a day, I may be tried
To speak a truth, without a lie
Things that are, or were, or yet to be
Are known, unhidden from me.

The glow stops. As it does Pylia comes over. “I found a few moon blossoms. Not as much as I’d like, but enough to work with. What do you have there? Some sort of doll?”
As the sun began to set, you and Pylia kept looking around for those herbs. Knowing what they vaguely looked like and that they grow near water, you look around the crags near the beach while Pylia is within walking distance as she also looked around the rocks. So far however you were about about as much luck as before, which is to say none at all. Just as an hour was about to pass and it looked like it wasn't going to go very well, you notice something in the water. It was stuck between the rocks, likely ended up there due to high tide. A figurine of unknown origins. It is crudely shaped out of clay with some twigs and straw adorments on the head. It looks to be prehistoric.
Cool, roll me another Nature check or a perception check. I'll tell you right now that these two checks will find different things.
That axe hurt. Orchid was starting to have some doubts now, but instead of fear a biting frustration welled up inside of him. Fury took over his mind as he raged out against the enemy, seeing an opening made by Kyra's magical bolt. Fur grew around the orc's face as he took on more bestial features, not quite as pronounced as Brannor, nor as extreme as Torus, but still very much noticeablw. Orchid took another swing, tracing his blade along the magical lights to hack into the man's flesh. "WAAAAAGH!" After cleaving through flesh, Orchid drew one of the cultist scimitars from his belt. As much as he liked the feel of using both hands to cleave flesh and bone, two swords were truly better than one.

Aaaaaalright, time to go sicko mode. I probs should've raged too but whatever, I'm still alive and kicking. Same can't be said of this poor bastard.
The flower you were suppose to be looking for was called Moonglow, because at night it would glow under direct moonlight. Obviously being that it's still the middle of the day, the flowers would not bloom making it much harder for you or Pylia to find the flowers. Worse part was that without the moon the flowers didn't look too much different from the various spiky grasses and weeds that dotted the beach, and Moonglow had to be handled carefully. After about an hour of searching, neither of you had much luck finding moonglow. The sun was starting to set with a red horizon in the distance. "Red sunset means it's going to rain. Hopefully it'll only be tonight and not tomorrow." Pylia says as she points towards the horizon.

There was still about two hours before sunset, so if you'd like you could try and stay out here a bit longer. Pylia thinks maybe they'll have better luck this time. Alternatively, you could leave the herb hunt to her since she knows what she's looking for, and you can try and look for other things on the beach. Finally you could always return back to Cassari. You have some tools now, which you could either refurbish or sell to those traders. There didn't seem to be anything particularly dangerous on the beach though occasionally you'd see the outlines of a goblin wandering the beach, but they never seem to head in your direction.
Alrighty, give me another nature check.
