@AtomicNut Yep, you certainly can! Put her in the Characters section once you get Spice's approval. Just letting you know, regular humans can't usually see Vices, but they can under some circumstances (like if a particularly powerful one casts an area of shadow to trap someone, sort of like a witch barrier, or if a Keeper allows a potential candidate to see what's normally hidden). So that bit of the CS works, just keep that in mind for the RP.

Smiling up at Aedre, Amber closed her laptop. "Morning," she greeted the other researcher, who sat down next to her. Either Aedre had perked up since yesterday, or she was putting on the same cheerful act she had herself recently. Whichever one it was, Amber decided not to mention the subject of the missing Pokeball. Probably not what her friend wanted to talk about first thing in the morning, and she was unlikely to have heard back this soon.

Her eyes widened at the offered gift, the smooth blue gem Aedre had dug from the cave yesterday. The Water Stone. "Aw, thanks," she replied, picking up the shimmering stone. "I'll most likely run into a good few Water types while looking for fossils in beachside caves, though what if you need it later on?"

As claws gripped the chair, Amber whirled round. "Eeeeeye!" Almandine gazed up, grinning that toothy grin as she set her sights on the gem. Right away, this earned a growl from Kyra, which in turn had all the researcher's four other Pokemon surrounding the goblin with warning glares.

Her first meeting with the Sableye fresh in her mind, Amber drew back in the seat, raising the crystal high, but remained firm. "Alma, no. You can have gems like the ones you had just now, not this one." Still holding the Dusk Ball in her other hand, she withdrew Almandine in a beam of light.

Clipping the capsule to her belt, she frowned down at the gouges etched deep into the side of the chair. "Hmm, as remarkable as it is how sharp a Sableye's claws are, this is going to take some explaining..."

@Balthazar007 So I can still bring Lani back in? Yep, I'll bring in her and Ryan, although presumably they'd have some different Pokemon. Ryan's starter might have either been Bellsprout or Bulbasaur rather than Foongus, because they have the same typing (leaning towards Bellsprout if Bulbasaur can still only be obtained after common Pokemon, although I prefer the latter).

"What...?" Tama sat up, her chest no longer feeling like glass shards scraped together inside it when she breathed or moved. So Miss Tamashii, the teacher in Touka's class, had been some kind of magical entity the whole time, and somehow hidden the fact up until now. Tama stared from the teacher to the other girls, all returned to civilian form and restored to full health. "Oh thank goodness." Despite the shock, she gave a huge sigh of relief. She stood, flexing her left arm, the bones now in place and fully healed. Her skin bore no gouges, not so much as a scratch.

"A day with no surprises would be surprising in itself," she remarked as she followed the teacher, eyeing her with mixed awe and caution. Miss Tamashii had saved them, but who was she, exactly? And what kind of being was formidable enough to seal away magic? To confirm this, Tama tried to transform. Nothing happened. While grateful that the teacher had ended the fight that way, she couldn't deny being more than a little unsettled.

If not for the fact that Ami and Tsuruga had nearly killed the light group just now, Tama would have asked if they'd known about this. As it turned out, she didn't have to. One look at Ami's face gave her the answer. "Miss Tamashii," she said, bowing as she caught up with the woman she'd seen countless times, but had known nothing about. "Thank you for stepping in. We had no idea, though... Please, could you tell us more?"

As soon as she found she could move without the sensation of having been hit and reversed over by a truck, Honoka sprang up. Her eyes, now their usual blue instead of red, were wide as they could be. At the sight of her unharmed comrades, a grin spread across her face, a joyous laugh bubbling out of her. "You're all ok! Thank you so much Miss Tamashii, thank you thank you thank you!!!"

A whirl of mixed feelings coursed through her. Miss Tamashii was like them? No, not like them. Powerful enough to fix all damage as if the fight had never happened, and to take their own magic. Honoka couldn't say she was comfortable being helpless, but reminded herself the two dark girls were no longer a threat, with their powers gone too. Ignoring Ami and Tsuruga, she sped after Miss Tamashii with an endless torrent of questions. "Wow, are you a magical girl too? Or some kind of goddess? Why didn't we sense anything? How long have you known about us? What's even going on in this city?"

Being a magical girl had brought bombshell after bombshell. First the mutant Nightmares. Then the sheer number of dark girls, in Miso High no less. Now this. A positive surprise for once, but what would it be next?

Ok everyone, we're FINALLY on Day 5! Let's finish what's still left to do in Mesalon, and then when everyone wants, we can head to Vareena. Don't worry, I'll make sure it doesn't take another year OOC to get to the next day. We could do some short timeskips along Route 2 when people head off, depending what everyone wants to do on the way.
