Current Hey, I hate to say this, but I am probably leaving this place for the forseeable future. Those who are waiting for me on RPs can just... stop waiting, I guess. Sorry, all.

Well, @Truant, I believe what's wrong with you is in the name... your ability is Truant, you only get to act every other turn.

@Ampharos Boy, I guess that means you're going to get cave adaptation by the time this whole thing is done, and you'll vomit as soon as you leave your house, lol.

You ever read one of your RPs from years ago and just laugh at how bad it is?

Dragons vs unicorns, huh? I'm horribly biased in this case 'cause I HATE horses, so... dragons.

I've got an idea that's embarrassing for Ignition, and ISN'T entirely ex machina.
Of course, don't worry XD

Not fully planning in having ember die an hour into the first day.

Good, 'cause I have an escape plan.
I hope you guys are aware that I intend to keep Ember ALIVE, at least.
Trevor Smithee

Medburn Guild

From what Trevor overheard, some more of the pokemon were made aware of his, and a couple others' weirdness, even in his best efforts to hide said weirdness. Trevor nodded when the togepi acknowledged that she wasn't the only weird one there, and he added "M-maybe we should head inside... I mean... this the guild everyone's talking about, r-right?" as he fluttered into the building, possibly accidentally leaving the egg pokemon behind. The inside seemed... oddly refreshing, despite the presence of a certain pink pokemon that explained that the ralts was a 'special case' for... some reason that Trevor wasn't there to hear, unfortunately. Wait... if I remember correctly... the ralts, like me, didn't know his moves, and thought that this place could help him... maybe they can help me, too! Trevor thought as he landed next to the small psychic type. He then realized that he never actually introduced himself to, well, anyone, so Trevor tried his hand at that, saying "So... um... looks like I m-might be seeing more of you, since we're here for the same r-reason... uh... my name's Trevor, and I'm, er..." Trevor then checked to make sure the other pokemon were out of earshot, unaware of the fact that the ralts gave away where he was from, earlier, and he added "I'm from out of town, somewhere," obviously, this part was false, and Trevor was a HORRIBLE liar, to boot, but after his probably botched introduction, he held out his right wing, as if it were a hand, only just realizing that this world might not even recognize what a handshake IS.

As he stood there, in that weird guild place, he wondered about the pink pokemon, and he was a little worried about them being a fairy type until he remembered that chansey and clefairy shared that color scheme, but were normal types, instead... for all Trevor knew, no pokemon changed their type after generation three... and it might be best that he doesn't figure out what actually happened, at least, for now. Trevor, despite his pokemon knowledge, and despite reading that book, had absolutely NO idea that he was about to literally shake hands with the very thing he fears. Why he fears fairies? Well, that's a long, and stupid story for another day.

Ember

Outside of Medburn Guild

Ember, despite his lack of an inside voice, or any social skills, somehow managed to get her to join him, and he was more than happy to finally have an underling. His new underling asked what she would be helping with, and Ember said "Traps, of course! Marvelous, wondrous traps! Traps... and revenge! Eh, but, helping with the second part is optional on the first day," Ember barked that out in his usual loud, somewhat annoying voice, and then he saw a tropius get himself caught in Ember's trap... only to disarm it almost immediately afterwards. NO! My last possible glimmer of hope! That oaf! Now I'll have to make an entirely NEW trap for that blasted horse! Ember thought as the tropius wondered who might have made that kind of trap. Ember wasn't about to give anything away, and instead instructed Eira "Well, that plan was a bust. Follow me! Back to my workshop, if you still wish to help!" and with that, he took off to some back alleyway that he stored a few makeshift tools in, whether she was going to follow him or not. Of course, once he got there, it was only right that he should wait for his new teammate, er, underling, right? So, he waited, thinking of the new possibilities... an ice-based pit trap where there's just a thin sheet of ice that collapses under any sort of weight, and some dirt to cover the ice up, or perhaps a more simple, and brutal falling rock trap, which would involve a net, some boulders, and a pressure plate that either shot fire at the net, or just cut it.

Ember's little mind was racing at those thoughts, and he really wanted to try them out, so he started planning out the steps he'd need to take in order to make these traps, one step involved him learning 'dig', so it would be easier for him to make holes, not caring whether or not he could actually LEARN the move, just caring that it would help him in his new plans if he could learn it. He was so lost in thought that he almost forgot whether or not Eira even showed up, and probably even accidentally ignored her if she did.
Should I post, or not?
Well, I'm still ready to post if this ever gets dug up.
More or less, but it supposedly also would do grass-type damage to anyone it snares due to thorns.
Can't it be both things?
As we continued on, the princess continued her griping, and Dorisma joined in for a short time, apparently, Dorisma was more than ready to crack open a few zombified skulls, and the princess wanted some 'action'... whatever that meant, however, Trey and Deravan seemed pleased with my idea, and were telling me that I made the right choice to just run, and avoid unnecessary fighting. For some reason, Miles was completely neutral on the subject, and we continued through the forest, just a bit too close to the main road for my liking, and, just as well, we ended up coming across what appeared to be a group of human traders, with their wagon broken, and missing a wheel... they didn't spot us yet, and to be honest, I didn't really feel like attacking traders. I... think I remember... I was supposed to try to bring some sort of peace between monsters and humans... ugh, I can't believe what I did back there... all that fire... at least we got rid of a couple of human archers after that, but I... I must have just been in a horrible mood. I thought as I tried to sneak past the group, which seemed incredibly easy. Odd that they'd be so easy to sneak past, given that at least one of them seemed to be on the lookout for anything or anyone who seemed suspicious. As I was sneaking, I ended up almost tripping over a wooden wheel, one that seemed to match the three wheels that the broken wagon had, but, considering my group, I just decided to ignore it, and not tell anyone else about it, not even Deravan. I'm sure they'll find it on their own... if Dorisma catches wind that we might be able to steal a fixed wagon from these guys, she'll want to start a fight... in fact, I think she's just looking for ANY reason to start a fight with them... I think as I continue on, hopefully getting out of their field of view soon enough.

I was reeling after those attacks, and I ended up answering Josh with a simple "Huh, wha?" and after that, Kamina broke up the group, and Josh hit the already somehow beat-up looking arcanine with a hydro pump, and M was putting on some sort of damaging light show that hit every enemy except for the graveler, who was immune to the attack. I was trying to get a hold on the situation, and then I heard the arcanine shout "BARRY! Why did you betray, Barry? Come back here, and let's rob the bank like old times!" no... it couldn't be HIM, could it? After that, the arcanine tried to use extremespeed on Josh, but I somehow managed to get in the way, and use counter to send that back at the arcanine... also sending him to the ice wall. The graveler started rolling away, and then it decided to just use that as an attack, and aimed its rollout attack right towards Kamina. I had no way of getting there in time, so I had to just hope he could take the hit. The goodra looked around the group, but it couldn't find who it was looking for, so it just ended up using Power Whip on Reshiram... bad idea. Reshiram sent the thing flying with a dragon pulse, after that... and I never saw that goodra, again. "Barry... have you ever met Mike? You should meet Mike, he's a cool guy, heheh... and he's an ICE type, too..." the arcanine just sort of randomly said to Josh, apparently thinking that he was this 'Barry' he was talking about... after that, he added "Oh, come on, Mike, my mom's not that fat," while talking... to the ice wall. Somehow, this arcanine was picking better moves and targets than the goodra, who just got sent flying... and THAT was a normal conversation for that arcanine.

[Spruce]

Everyone seemed to be amazed at how this place looked, and I couldn't blame them... if only these guys knew what the word 'lighting' meant. I then heard Dexter introduce himself, and I introduced myself "I'm Spruce Birch... yes, that famous explorer Vine Birch is my brother... sorry, I thought that would stop others from asking that question," unfortunately, I couldn't see too far ahead of me, save for a single, barely lit candle in the middle of the room. I tried to make something out of the darkness, and I saw two tiny red eyes staring back at me. Soon after that, I heard the unknown pokemon growl, and then the thing used dark pulse on me, dealing some damage. "Okay, we're not alone here, folks, let's try to find our enemies... anyone got a light?" I said to the rest of the group, which caused Nina to nudge Dexter. I couldn't wait too long, so I decided that my best bet was to use void whip at... whatever just hit me, but, since I couldn't see their body, they easily moved out of the way... and a couple more pairs of eyes appeared. "So... did I overhear something about one of you working here until recently? First off... how? Second off... WHY!?" I ended up saying. This place didn't look like it would make a good workplace, given that it's completely dark, and apparently the other employees were more than happy to just scare you and attack you without even asking who you are.

[Nina]

As soon as the trap door closed, the place went dark, and we headed through a short hallway to the first room, which seemed to have a very dimly lit candle on a metal table as its only light source. Spruce complained about the lighting conditions, him being a grass type, he was probably used to being out in the sun, by now, and as he searched the edge of our vision, a couple oddly small red eyes, obviously belonging to an at least somewhat powerful pokemon appeared. The pokemon quickly responded to Spruce's presence by blasting him with a dark move. Once I heard him ask "... anyone got a light?" I nudged Dexter, and whispered "That's your cue," to him. I then noticed a couple more pokemon seemingly appear from the nothingness, and Spruce tried to attack something he couldn't see to... obvious effect. I then remembered that I had a means of lighting this place up, at least for a bit, and I used Flash Tackle on the pokemon that attacked Spruce, revealing it to be a Hydreigon, and lighting the place up, for a bit. I'm not sure what pokemon the others saw, but I only had time to see that pokemon... who took a decent amount of damage from my attack, and then tried to grab me with its weird head hands. Thankfully, I managed to get out of that situation, and I ran back to the light source... the other two pokemon apparently laughed at that, for... some reason.

The hawlucha was knocked out, and the stalactite was broken, leaving just the medicham, and a smooth ceiling. Eralion had the idea to get in front of the psychic type, and the medicham laughed as it used high jump kick on him. I then thought about what moves MIGHT work on this thing... and Dizzy Punch seemed like the obvious answer at this point. I tried to head towards the enemy pokemon, but it was kind of in the middle of a move, so I just tried my best to hit it while it was in the air... unfortunately, I missed, and the move kept heading towards Eralion, who looked like he braced himself for the attack... for some reason. Why would he be smiling? That attack's going to HURT, a LOT, too... I mean, it's still super effective against him, right? Is he just hoping he'll miss? I thought as I just stood there, kind of useless at this point, since hitting a moving target obviously wasn't going to happen. I then remembered something, and said "You did a good job, Tini. That bad guy won't hurt anyone anymore," I praised, since it was true, he did do a good job at knocking out that hawlucha.
