Hi Folks,
I'm bringing you an idea that's loosely based on the relationship of Gods and Oracles in Classical history. Sounds intriguing, right?
He was a fabulous, all powerful God and she was his Oracle. The voice of reason that sat on his shoulder. The stick that smacked him upside the head when he got himself into hot water.. But unfortunately, he didn't listen to her. Ever. He was stubborn. So stubborn, he would never admit that he was a walking disaster. And because of that stubborn determination, the pair are now trapped in their disfunctional dynamic for all eternity.. Cursed to learn to get along. And well, she is pretty pissed about it.
We're going to pick it up in Modern day New York. He's working for a wealthy Marketing and PR company, and she's his PA. They're learning to negotiate the modern world, whilst at the same time trying to figure out how they can get themselves out of this mess.
Now, there's going to be a comical edge to all of this. Our Oracle is going to have discovered the joy of cocktails at any time of the day - because hell, she's thousands of years old so why not, and he's still a loose cannon. Their love hate relationship is as it always was, but now that they're actually human beings, they're having to muddle through all of the new thoughts, feelings and urges that they're having for life, and interestingly - for one another.
Yep, romance peeps. Spoiler alert - they dig each other.
Anyhoo, this is all very loose at the moment. However, if you're interested in playing a disgraced God, that's having to deal with his nag of an Oracle forever more - shoot me a message!
