Current I love hunt showdown. nothing like talking shit in prox chat while having a friendly cowboy shootout over a bayou bounty. Now I just need to acquire skill over ungodly amount of hours playing the game

It's crazy to see another furry in the wild. Well, back to my hidey-hole.

Angus McSix and the Sword of Power is a pretty damn good album. I was hesitant about Thomas Winkler's new band after being booted from Gloryhammer but my worry was unfounded. He is def back one better

What's all this about DnD, where my CoC bois at who enjoy the game where every encounter can be a TPK, never use magic unless you want to die, and where you never save the day but delay the inevitable

@Lurking Shadow
I've looked him over and everything seems to check out. I did have some concerns about the number of powers, though I never set a specific limit and you've balanced them out quite well in any case. All in all, I'd say he's good to go! Move him on over to the character's tab.

I wrote him around only having two 'significant' powers, being his queer ability to 'see' lacking any sort of visible sensory organ, and the absolute lack of sound he makes. When it comes to the wings and tail, those are natural methods of moving or manipulating the environment from a clear source and can thus be 'nullified' by damaging the relevant areas of the body. As far as the strength and durability, it is not as powerful as someone who's main draw is superstrength or invulnerability, but still notable enough that I thought to include it (I mean, something twice as big as the average human can probably lift more than the average human). As for telepathy, that is simply to have a way of holding a conversation since he has no voice with which to speak normally and I feel it would be both difficult and time consuming if every conversation this char had with someone was a game of charades (and trying to keep this as only a 'minor' power, I elected to make it require physical contact). Lastly for self-sustenance, it only covers having energy to use despite not having (nor being able to lacking a mouth) to consume nutrients, vitamins, and such like animals normally do. This one I pondered about a little of how 'strong' or 'weak' this should be. what does it cover, and what limitations it has. Ultimately, it simply means he does not have to eat. He still would still suffer from fatigue, and need to sleep like others. This character is inspired by the Night-Gaunts of the Cthulhu Mythos (The idea for this character being 'what if a human, but trapped in the body of a monster?') and supposedly they did have a method of feeding, somehow, from a certain entity, but it is never really explained and often left as a part of the fear factor of this creature(how does a thing that cannot eat, live? exist?). I eventually decided that it would be a lot of extra effort to explain something that I do not think really builds up the character in any significant way so I elected to weasel my way out of this one.

That is my line of thinking about this. I see him as only having two, maybe three 'significant' or notable powers with a couple more minor or supportive powers. Hope you see my way of thinking when I wrote it out and I think I might re-arrange it a bit to have a 'major' and 'minor' power section or something similar. I still have a little bit of formatting, maybe add in some flavor text, (probably even think of some gear he would have) I want to do to make it a little cleaner before I post it in CS, which I will do later today when I get back from my classes.
@ZAVAZggg

Got it done. Let me know of any questions or if things need to be changed.

Ah, okay. Carry on then. Although I do have a question. Are there more Devo's with the same physical deviancy as your character or is he/she the only one?

Well, I imagine that since this whole thing comes from a mutated gene it stands to reason that a similar, if not the same, sort of physical traits might appear on another is probable. But extremely unlikely.

I currently do not intend for him to have previously, nor come to encounter with the same traits as him.
@ZAVAZggg

All it really has as far as stealth is that it makes no noise. Can still be detected visually (I imagine something nearly twice as big as a man is hard to not notice in most conditions), still produces body heat so it can be 'seen' by thermal detection, still leaves tracks etc.

Since I'll be adapting from an older CS, It should not take me too long to remove and add relevant information.
I am interested and have a few ideas for a character.

A few questions though,

First, this inhibitor chip. Does it essentially make these deviants no different from a normal human, or would it just severely weaken an ability. Would someone with super strength end up being only as strong as a normal human or would he be somewhat stronger than a human but still far less than he normally is?

Secondly, I was wondering if it would be alright to have a character look only a little human. I have a CS based of a Night Gaunt that I think would work well here after some editing. Essentially it is a winged humanoid about 12 feet tall with no face whatsoever and a barbed tail that is also completely silent no matter what it does.

Would that work fine? would it need a few changes to be approved? I'm willing to make some concessions as this char was made for a RP that never really started and I'm itching to use it.
Almost did not see this come back up.

@Valor

I've reworked the detection thing on the CS to a point which will hopefully be more acceptable. Still cleaning it up a bit though and adding stuff into the misc/other section though. Want me to post it here when done or should I wait till after the check?
Anthem is great because I can just run into enemies with Colossus shield.

Why use gun for small projectile when man is big projectile.

That alone gave me 40+ hours of enjoyment and is why I like it over warframe atm other than I don't really care to feel like a ninja.

Except for borderlands, I don't really care for any other looter shooter and do not have much else to say on the topic.

Though I can (and will) talk anyone's ear off on why I think Iron Harvest is looking to be the best RTS game in nearly 2 decades. Everything since Tiberian Sun has failed to meet the standard that I feel TS set, though I did quite enjoy Tiberium Wars competitively and SupCom came really close.
