Calling all dice mathematicians

I am no mathematician but this is relevant to a rp I'm DMing at the moment. We use D6s only though. 3d6 in a stat means it's your best stat, 2d6 means your pretty competent. In this system a 6 is a success, a 4 or 5 is a Mixed Success, a 1 to 3 is a failure and two 6's are a critical success.

Here are the percentage chance of rolling something on a D6 system:

I'd be really curious to see how much % chance switching from a D6 to a D8 actually affects your chances though. Now you've got me looking up the system...

@Kenshi next GM post is Downtime (people will be able to buy their first minions, start working on their first projects) GM post after that will involve heroes. But I'd recommend buying minions to fight those adventurers, since you'll only fight them if all your minions fail to do so. I know you're against Krieg having minions but the system is built around the idea that PCs are boss monsters with minions underneath them to do their dirty work in the dungeon.

That will mark the end of the Prologue/setup stuff. When Chapter 1 starts you'll be able to pick which raids you'd like to do as a group and fight whomever you wish :D

@Dark Cloud it's all good. I was off one weekend at a crucial time which caused a disconnect. Plus we're in the prologue so there's alot of setup stuff going on. Y'all haven't been unleashed on the world proper yet ;)

Heads up I don't tend to have strict posting rules or a post schedule for my rps because it doesn't work for me personally. I prefer an open-ended roleplay where people can post at their own speed with some general guidelines to follow when needed (like everyone posting once before the next GM post goes live in this case) So long as I'm kept in the loop I'm quite happy.

Thought i'd bring it up while we're on the subject because I don't tend to include it in the Interest Check~

aaaaand I've updated the CS tab with the Dungeon Map and a little bit of a key. I'll pretty this up over time but for now it works as a general guide 👍 I'll also add any Downtime Projects there later down the line.

@Dark Cloud ooOOOoooOOh, double checking the lair section, the first time you build a Lair it immediately attracts new creature(s). So if you'd like, you can include Zaz'ak finding the Kobolds or them moving in (or leave it till after the next GM post when we enter Downtime works too!)
