Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Raising a brow at the blonde that headed straight to Caius, Callie crossed her arms over her chest, glaring daggers at the woman. Satisifed at Caius response, she turned her gaze back to Claudia.

"A pity, I think, that I didn't put it up sooner." She said mildly, before moving towards Caius again. "That's right." She said, giving him a smile and smoothly twisting so she was in between Caius and the blonde. She gave him a kiss, before saying "Shall we go get that ward set up? The quicker the better, I'd think."

She didn't bother giving the blonde the time of day. Perhaps it was a little rude, but then she did have important tasks to do. "And when that's up, and we have some safety, I'll hit you with everything I've got." She promised, her smile playing at the corners of her mouth.
Mavis, Gabriel, Jarvis, Jamie, Sasha, Penny

"Yes." Mavis said unconcerned at the tone in his voice. "I did. The cost.... well, Law always has a cost, who knows better than I? But I decided the benefits far outweighed any potential risk to myself." She said, knowing that this was something that she would have to deal with, however it showed. She had already suffered enough losses, losing the descendants of the great guilds.... well, she hadn't been prepared to let that happen. She'd watched quite a few of them grow up, from her island.

They were hers, and that was all that mattered. "You'll recall that I once told you that sometimes we have to do things that are reckless and foolish for a reason. You asked why. I told you if you had to ask, then you had never been in such a situation." She sighed softly, looking over everyone before she said, "Don't poke at him. You know very little of what brought him here. Without him, why we'd be lost. As I understand it, I imagine he'll return to his own time.... or cease to exist. Either is a grim end for him, and yet he still fought for a better end for us."

Her expression turned morose, and she looked over her island, damaged and scarred from the fighting it had experienced, now and before. And Law hadn't been easy on it too. With a heavy heart, Mavis knew this island, that had been her home for so long, would be irrevocably damaged by the magic used. And she'd have to leave it, perhaps forever.

"I have a request of you, Ferrin. I need you to free me from this existence... i fear this island is no longer home."

Making his way slowly towards a girl that was lying limp, a small Exceed slapping her, Gabriel paused. Was the girl alive? She had to be, if the Exceed was slapping her like that. Unless the Exceed was doing some weird form of resusertation. As he drew closer, Gabriel could see that the girls chest was rising and falling. Relieved, although wondering why the tiny Exceed seemed intent on giving the girl bruises, Gabriel slowed as he reached them.

"Is she okay?" He crouched, and around him his spirits formed- quite clearly intent on protecting his back in such a vulnerable position on this damned island. He didn't summon then- after Leo just popping up whenever he felt like it, he had grown use to it. There was no point questioning it, anyway.

He reached out, the gently squeeze the qirl's shoulders- but she seemed well and truly out of it. "I can carry her... "

"We will, little one." Jarvis said softly, leaning down and lifting Amelia into his arms- even though she was much too old for it. "Soon" He shifted his hold on her, making sure that she was secure. "Let's make sure everything is okay, that everyone is okay."

Jamie lay a hand on Jarvis's shoulder, leaning forward slightly to give Amelia a soft kiss on the cheek before she stepped forward, joining Jack in approaching the Dragon Slayers of old.

"We've created guilds, we've worked together. We've learned. And together, we face Zeref. We fought the darkness, and is that not all that matters today? I am Jamie (I cannot remember last name), one of the guild leaders of this time."
"Patrick... he can take you somewhere you can belong, if you wish." Sasha said softly, weariness filling her as more and more she let herself relax.

One part of her life- of what kept her here- was okay. Closing her eyes a moment, taking comfort before she was looking around again. "Sasha. Jasmine. Ariel. Ariel!" Penny still didn't understand why Ariel had been allowed to come, why she had wanted to, but the girl would have been plagued by magic. "Where is she?"

And Jasmine. Jasmine had seen her die... where was she? It was Penny's fault she was here. She looked up, but Ignatius was gone- gone, she presumed, to find Rajah. And that meant finding Jasmine. Jasmine would be okay. She had to be.

Callie nodded, although she couldn't help but worry still. She bowed her head, before nodding once more. Demonstrating spells was something that she could do, but she did have one issue. "I... I don't know if I can do that, Caius. I'm not.... I don't want to hurt you." Even if he was resistance, the thought of hurting him just about broke her heart. "I'll try... " She said softly, not wanting to disappoint her.

She hesitated another moment before she took in a deep breath and spoke to the others. "I think its a mistake to not include the pups in the fighting. You'll leave them vulnerable to attack should the witches.... and its not just the witches, not anymore. It's the young vampire-witch hybrids. It's just my opinion, but I think it will be a mistake to leave them vulnerable and if you leave guards for them that will only weaken the pack. I... its just my opinion though."

Hurrying on, she turned to Claudia. "Yes, I can. I can put up a strong one, where ay supernatural creature will need my permission- or those of my family- whether blood or bonded- to cross. Or I can set up a weak one which will just alert me to their pressence."
Callie clasped her hands in front of her, gripping them tightly as she listened to what was being said. Her own thoughts were a turmoil, and it was all she could do to not simply break down once more. She had to be strong. She couldn't be creating any more troubles for Caius and his pack, his family. She was the reason for all this...

If she had turned away, before he could have laid eyes on her, would this have ever happened? She had only seen that flash of what could be, that flash of the future... and while it had seemed perfect, if this was the result... if she was going to cause Caius pain... She might not understand Imprinting to it's fullest extent, but she had never felt like this about anyone. If she could make things easier for him, she would.

She met his gaze as he spoke to her, and hoped that her eyes didn't reveal just how close she was to crying. "We're better together... Apart, I'll be worrying about you, and you me. If using this spell is the only way to do it, so that you won't worry about me, than I will. All I know is I won't sit and wait to see if you'll come back to me." It was her choice... but to her, it was also his. It might not be permanent, but it was... intimate sort of thing. If she did it right, she'd share the pack's experience's as if she were truly one of them.

"As for the witches... well, traditionally a coven is anywhere from three witches on wards. There was 13 in my coven, beside's myself. But Angelina could very well have recruited other coven's by now, other witches. The type of spells, well, each witch has different strengths, but mostly spells are based around the elements. There are trapping, curses, jinx's.... it really just depends. I can give a demonstration of some spells I think they would use, and I can put protective charms around the pack." @Kyrisse

As everything seemed to happen at once, Penny could feel her own strength waning. It had been a long, tiring day and she had expended more energy than she thought. Wearily, her body fell towards the ground slowly, and her knees gave way as she reached the ground.

Panting slightly, she closed her eyes tightly, her weary body overcome with her emotions. She’d been holding them back, so long... so long... she could feel the tears start, stinging her eyes painfully. She bowed her head, knowing that she should check in the others. Jasmine... the girl had to be okay. And Ariel... Why Ariel had wanted to come to the island, Penny didn’t know. She still had to make things right with Ariel.

She just didn’t have the energy to get up, to go find them... she didn’t know if her legs would hold her if she even tried to rise. The tears stinging her eyes slipped through her closed lids, and began to fall down her cheeks. “... Damien... “ From what she had seen, Zeref had been trying hard to kill him. Was he alive? Was he okay? Her heart beat fast, but even that wasn’t enough.

It was just too much. Everything she had been through... the choice she had made... her breath came out raggered and she rocked forward slightly, placing her hands on the ground in front of her, as she sought her breath, sought some semblance of control. But at least it was over. At least Zeref was gone.

Right than, that seemed to be all that mattered, they had won. It seemed impossible now that it had happened, but they had won... Finally she pushed herself to her feet, shaking slightly and for a moment it seemed she might just fall back down. Her gaze swept over everyone there, ignoring what must be the dragon slayers of old, not caring about them, as she sought those she loved.

Sasha, standing strong and to Penny, the epitome of bravery. Of courage and goodness. Jasmine, for a brief moment she hardly recognised the girl. She had come so far... her gaze didn’t go much further, landing once more on Damien.

She stumbled towards him, reaching up with one hand to brush at her eyes. “Damien.”

Sasha reaches out towards Lazarus as the dragons began to change back to human form. Her gaze flicked to Patrick as the Dragon Slayers of old ask after their former guilds. What was she meant to say? How could she explain what had happened? Drawing a breath, this was her duty, her mission. She had to explain.

“It’s been nearly a 100 years... you’ve been on this island for nearly a century, asleep.” She started, pausing as she tried to figure out the words. “Your guilds... What happened here, caused a... a hatred of magic. It’s only been the last few years that magic has began to be accepted again. We don’t know what happened to the guilds, but we do know that at least some of them escaped the island.” She said, hesitating another moment or two before continuing.

“Some of us are descended from the guilds... and we came here to... to save you and defeat Zeref.” God, she wasn’t good at this. Telling them that those they loved and cared about were gone... “and... well, you know the rest.” She said, letting her ice armour fade away as the danger had passed.

Mavis walked towards the old dragon slayers, a smile on her features, old grief etched on her face as she slowed. “Wendy... Gajeel... Natsu... “ her gaze lingered on them, as she reached out to take Wendy in her arms, giving the young- well, young appearing- girl a hug. “Thank you... “

She turned her gaze to the other dragon slayers. “Sting, rogue, cobra... you fought so well, for so long... you fought against that darkness... I wish it was a better ending for you all... “

She gave a heavy sigh, her gaze moving towards Patrick. “You don’t belong in this time, just as much as they don’t anymore.” She said, her voice heavy as she continued. “You, brave brave boy... you have served well... it’s time for the stream to be set right once more.”

“I know. I knew it from the moment I was sent here. The man I knew as my father ensured I would know what to do.” An odd smile touched Patrick’s lips, “I’m oddly homesick, despite the disaster my time is. And it was... nice, meeting my biological parents.”

“It’s always nice to know where one comes from. And you deserve a break. Perhaps... you can take them with you, give them a chance to save another time.”

“If they wish it, than I shall do so.”

Satisfied, Mavis turned towards Ferrin, her gaze flicking briefly to the white masked figure. “Ferrin... dear Ferrin... I’m sorry, for everything.” She said, a sad smile on her features.
@Kyrisse

They didn't understand, but how could they? They didn't have much to do with magic, until now. How could she explain so that they would understand? "I think you misunderstand me- it wouldn't make me a werewolf, merely enable me to use my magic to shapeshift into a wolf for a time. I would still be a witch, but... if I could develop a spell I could hide my magical ability from others... " she sighed, and ran a hand through her hair with frustration as she sought the right words.

"It's an option and if it means I won't be a burden, well... I'd like to take it, but... it wouldn't be permanent. I don't have that kind of magic... that's old magic, lost magic. No, for it to be permanent it would need to be a bite." But she was not going to go there. "Does that make sense?"
Callie silently went inside with Caius, wishing that she hadn't said anything to him. She shouldn't have said anything at all... She was making things harder for him, and she shouldn't be. Looking down at her food, not particularly eating any of it, she sighed to herself. Looking up as Darric spoke, Callie swallowed and dropped her hands into her lap.

"Look, it isn't something that I can truly explain. There's a magic, mixing lay-line and earth, that enables witches who are particularly skilled in that area to transform into creatures. Doing so like that... well, it allows us to retain ourselves." she said softly, "It will enable me to not be a burden... but... but it doesn't stop the bigger problem. I'm a witch without a coven that can do some serious damage to whatever the coven has planned. They aren't going to stop until I'm no longer a problem."

She fell silent, and looked away from them all, sighing heavily once more. She was just bringing trouble... she didn't know what to do, anymore.

@Kyrisse
Callie shifted slightly, not sure she liked having Claudia on her side. She wasn’t too sure what she thought of Claudia- it was clear she was outspoken and very opinionated, but... she wasn’t at all like Caius. Caius was warm... caring... and perhaps the best thing to have happened to her. ”I wouldn’t have suggested it if I didn’t.” she said softly, watching Claudia warily.

As Caius began to lead her back inside, she said to him ”it isn’t her opinion I’m worried about. It’s yours. And you don’t want me to do it... I just... I don’t want you to be worried about me. If I were to transform... you wouldn’t have to worry... “ she said low enough for him to hear before falling silent as they stepped back into the cabin. @Kyrisse
@Kyrisse"Claudia will just say I have no right to do anything of the sort, and... well, i'm not sure about Darric." She sighed, "I don't want to be on the side lines, wondering if you're going to come home to me. If this is how I can do it... well... what other way can I be with you? Yes, I could use magic to read your mind, read the packs mind, but I'd just be holding you back if like this."

She didn't want to do that, either. She wanted to be useful... "And... and maybe I don't want to be a witch anymore." She said, her voice barely more than a whisper. "After everything... what that vile woman is doing, it just doesn't seem right anymore." She closed her eyes, "I was so scared. When you didn't come back... when Claudia came in ready to tear my throat out... I thought she meant to leave me behind- I didn't know if I could have found you. Even knowing you were alive, I was still scared."
Sasha refused to let Lazarus break from her grasp. She would not lose him to Zeref... she was not going to let him spiral back into that dark pitful, and if he even so much as begin to slip away from her, she was going to encase his ass in ice. She was not going to lose him. Not to Zeref. Not to any bimbo on the street that thought they could have a swing at the great model Lazarus. No... after everything they had been through... she would not give up on him now.

As he started to cry, cry evidently as hard as he could, sasha clutched at him, holding him close against her, not caring what anyone thought as she simply tried to envelope him in her warm, comfort and love. Nothing was going to hurt him while she was around. Nothing. He was here, back with her. Where he belonged. And she was never going to let him out of her sight, not for long. Everytime she turned around, he was getting into some sort of trouble.

Well, they would deal with it together. "I love you too, Lazarus. Zeref will never have you, not while I'm around." And that went for everyone. She didn't know what was going to happen, but... she wouldn't let Zeref destroy Phoenix Wing as Fairy Tail had been, as all the other guilds that had been there had been. No... this was their time. They would win.

"We will make it home... we have faith." Smiling, she brushed away his tears, and taking his hand in hers, she rose. "Thank you for the help, jasmine.. " She said, gaze going to the exceed. "And if you think they are so easy to handle, Exceed, have at it. I'd love to see it." She was not in the mood for such boastful and degrading words from a flying cat. There was too much else going on, too much else that was more important.

She brought her gaze to Zeref. "You're wrong. We will stop you." She said, her voice strong as she kept her gaze on the dark mage. "chance saw Fairy Tail's failure 100 years ago... but there's something you are forget, Zeref Dark mage. the Fairies and their allies are here... and they won't be in your control for long." Her gaze swept across the dragons, the slayers of old. Fairy tail mages and their companions from 100 years ago... and some of those gathered were descended from Fairy tail mages. They had Ferrin. And Mavis.

And everyone else. They were going to win. No other option was possible. This was it. "Weaken him, as much as you guy." She shouted, her Ice Queen armour once more covering her.

It was hard for Penny to stand there and watch as Demon was attacked by Zeref several times, but after the first time he handled himself, Penny knew it would be okay. That didn't mean that she didn't fight the urge to go to him, to the others she considered family. Her gaze swept over everyone, before finally resting on the dragons. The Dragon slayers of old had been turned into dragons by a failing in their magic... could that be healed? Taking to the air, Penny hovered over the dragons, not taking her gaze away from them as she contemplated the extent of the healing song she would need to use.

It might very well kill her.

But what did that matter now? She'd just come back. If she choose to. Briefly her gaze flicked to those she loved. If Jasmine's reaction was anything to go by, they would no doubt be distressed. her sight rested on Ariel. She still hadn't fixed things there. she didn't know how. This was just something she had to do, now. If it saved her family... her small scarfice would be worth it.

And she'd come back anyway.

Gathering all the energy she could, Penny poured it all into the song she started to sing. It was beautiful, and almost holy in a way and as it enveloped the dragons. But even as it did so, she knew that that wouldn't work. Shifting, she broke off the song, and brought her gaze to Zeref. She doubted the killing song would have much effect on him... Thinking a moment or two, she finally decided on a song to try and weaken him and began to sing, focusing on him and him alone. She poured her magic into it, knowing that it was still too little to deal with Zeref. But with luck... it would weaken him.

"They are my family. And I will protect them. I will not leave until I know they are okay." Jarvis told the spirit. "And that doesn't just mean Jamie and Amelia. Until they are safe, I will stay here." He was not going to lose another daughter. And he was not going to lose Jamie- he doubted that he would be able to survive either lose. not again. Shifting, he held two lacrima in his hand, ready to act when required.

"Unwavering faith and resilient bonds will bring even miracles to your side." Mavis said, her voice somehow carrying through the commotion, as she kept her gaze on Zeref. "You may not be Fairy Tail, but the faith and bond is there. Use it. Banish the shadow!" How should wished she could use Fairy sphere, but not this time, not here. Not now. The only other attack that she could safely use would be Fairy Law. Gathering the power, Mavis knew she had to be precise. She could not fail here. Too much was at stake.

And how... poetic that she would deal damage, deal a heavy blow to Zeref, with the altered spell Law that he had taught her. That she had used and cursed herself. it seemed... justice, in a way. She would use a dark spell she had modified into a Light spell to banish evil from the world.

And Zeref was her enemy. He had proven that long ago... but did she know it in her heart? She thought of everything that had happened... everything that would happen if she faltered here... She had to put an end to this. There is a wall that can't be destroyed with just power. However, there is a type of power that can destroy that wall. The Power of Feelings Zeref had destroyed her guild, no matter what she felt about him. He had destroyed the light she had helped create...

And he wanted to destroy this light, as well. The light of Fairy desendants... the light of everyone there. Everything begins in the deep abyss of Magic. A Magic that unites it all, love. Love can cause miracles. And the love between the two that have been living with the curse have brought the highest level of contradiction. The more one loves, the more one will take away from another. This curse has taken my life from me, even if I was supposed to be immortal Love. Closing her eyes, Mavis brought to mind everyone she had loved. Makarov, whom she had named, who had been her god son. Lexus, his son. Natsu, Lucy... Warrod. Yuri. Precht. Zera. Oh, Zera...

Zeref had destroyed the happy life she had had. Opening her eyes, her voice clear, her gaze on Zeref. "You're right. This ends now. Fairy Law" The magic gathered into a bright light, enveloping the area- keeping everyone safe that she didn't want hurt, the attack sentered on Zeref.
