@Double
My bad about the fight with Airdramon. I was originally going to just have them start fighting but I saw others were having the full fight in the post so I went along with it. I have since edited the post so that Airdramon puts up a lot more of a fight. In fact if anyone wants to come help Dozer fight Airdramon that would be great as I left him in a very bad place.

@Crimson Flame
I was assuming that Daichi was in a study period when he got the assignment. I'm not actually sure if that's a thing in Japan, it is at least where I'm from, Canada. But Daichi will most definitely be late for his next class.

I was meaning to ask about the Digivices. What do they look like and what can they do? I assumed while writing my post that they could store Digimon, but if they could do other things I would like to know.
Daichi & Dozer

Daichi was sitting in the small park located across the street from his school, taking in the scenery. While he claimed he came here to study, the truth was that he spent most of his time here admiring the beauty of nature. He had placed his Digivice next to himself on the bench so that Dozer could see it through the screen. It was in serene moments such as this that Daichi became inspired to poetry.

But as he took out a notebook to put poetry to paper, the Digivice next to him began to beep. He had received a message from ATLAS alerting him to a Digimon manifestation.

Daichi sighed as he picked up his Digivice, “Looks like another nice day ruined.”

“Hey don’t look so down,” Dozer sounded off from within the Digivice, “Maybe we’ll be able to rescue some people from a bad Digimon.”

“Always playing the hero, huh?” Daichi laughed.

“Playing the hero? I am a hero,” Dozer stated.

Daichi smiled as he exited the park. The Digimon had manifested in Nerima, which was not too far from where Daichi was. In fact he could get there by taking one express bus, which luckily for Daichi would arrive within the next five minutes.

Once Daichi got on the bus, he pulled out his Digivice. While he hated keeping Dozer in the Digivice, it was necessary as he couldn’t have him pretend to be a plush like some other tamers did as he was a child sized Lego monster. But that didn’t mean he couldn’t talk to him in the Digivice, as people just tended to assume that he was a weirdo who talked to his video games.

“You ready for this fight?” Daichi asked softly.

“Always ready,” Dozer replied, “Are you ready?”

Daichi didn’t answer immediately. While he himself wouldn’t technically be fighting, he did feel responsible for Dozer. He hated to see his partner hurt, and knew that was a risk every time they responded to a Digimon appearing. But he didn’t have a choice; if he wanted to continue being with Dozer it meant he had to do what ATLAS ordered.

“Yeah I’m ready,” Daichi eventually replied, “I wonder what kind of Digimon it’ll be?”

“Probably an evil one. We always get the evil ones,” Dozer answered.

Daichi pondered what made a Digimon evil for the rest of the bus ride. He still didn’t have an answer as he got off the bus. Near the bus stop was a group of people pointing across the street at a thick mist. Daichi recognized it immediately as a side effect of a Digimon entering the human world. He then charged into the mist as people told him to wait as it wasn’t safe.

Once inside the deep mist, Daichi made sure there wasn’t anybody near by, before Dozer exited the Digivice. The Toy Agumon stood at around half of Daichi’s size. A serious look was on Dozer’s face as he scanned the area. With the mist it was hard to see anything. But then a mighty roar pierced the sky. Both Daichi and Dozer looked up to see an Airdramon flying right above them.

Before Daichi could do anything, Dozer shouted, “Toy Flame!”

A small toy projectile launched out of Dozer’s mouth upward toward Airdramon. The toy flame did make contact, exploding across the Digimon’s body. Airdramon roared again, more out of annoyance then pain. The winged dragon looked down at the tamer and partner, screeching.

“Fatal Tornado!” Airdramon shouted, a tornado shaped fire reigning down on Dozer.

With adrenaline fuelled reflexes, Daichi was able to push Dozer and himself out of the way as the fire ripped across the street, setting a tree on fire.

“You could of waited to see if he was hostile before attacking,” Daichi chided Dozer as they both got to their feet.

“I was just testing the waters,” Dozer said sheepishly.

“Well, it can’t be helped now. But anyway they authorized Champion form, and if that fire was any indication, we’re going to need it,” Daichi stated.

Dozer nodded in agreement as Daichi took out his Digivice. Both Dozer and the Digivice began to glow.

“Toy Agumon, digivolve to…Tankmon!”

Where once stood the Lego monster now was replaced by an anthropomorphic tank. Dozer pointed his guns at the Airdramon.

“This is going to be fun,” Dozer said, his voice deeper, “Sub Vulcan!”

A multitude of bullets were released from Dozer’s gun hands, striking Airdramon in many areas. Several shots to its wings caused it to crash to the ground. Dozer pumped a hand into the air.

“Now to finish you!,” Dozer said as he rushed toward Airdramon, “Hell Drive!”

As Dozer charged at the injured Digimon, it surprised him by getting up. It flapped its wings, creating a massive gust of wind that tossed Dozer backward, crashing into a car. The gust also sent Daichi flying back, bouncing against the pavement.

“Dozer,” Daichi said as he struggled to his feet, “Are you alright?”

Daichi’s Digimon partner did not respond. As Dozer lay motionless on the crumpled car, Airdramon rose into the air once again. With a mighty roar, Airdramon dove down toward Dozer, his fangs nearing his exposed belly section. Time seemed to slow down for Daichi as Airdramon grew closer and closer to the downed Dozer.
@Kidgoat
Thanks for the interest. I would like to aim for one post a week.

As for everyone else, I'm still working on an OOC thread. It might be up tomorrow, maybe.
Trineon
Lord of Rivers, Lakes, and Oceans

The water god sped forward, blade at the ready. In times past he would have been able to close that distance in a half-second, as he had the strength and speed of a rushing river. But now he was diminished, his power missing after the long death. Still he knew he had more power left than the mortal in front of him. So he pushed his legs as hard as he could, calling upon whatever divinity still remained within him. With the speed he moved at, the mortal did not have the time to fully raise its tube weapon at Trineon. The god lunged forward with his acquired blade, piercing the gut of the armoured mortal. Trineon raised the blade up, cutting through muscle and bone. The mortal quickly collapsed into a pool of blood and organs.

“Who’s next?” Trineon laughed.

The inner voice in Trineon’s mind chided him for having such blood lust. It was those kinds of thoughts that had let to his downfall in the time before his death. Trineon’s thoughts were interrupted by the sound of gears whirring. The water god quickly glanced behind him to see the time goddess riding around on some kind of mechanical man, presumably the same one that had been lying in ruins just a minute before now. Trineon smiled as it staggered on its feet, like someone who drank a whole barrel of ale.

Taking inspiration from Lopaley, Trineon decided to try using these new tools of the mortals. Trineon crouched and picked up the tube weapon off the man he had gutted. Placing it in the opposite hand from his blade, Trineon pointed it at the nearest mortal attacker. And it did nothing. Trineon continued to point it, yet nothing happened.

“Attack!” he shouted, “Fire! Blast! Something!”

Frustrated with the weapon, Trineon was about to drop it, but then decided to use it another way. Raising the tube, Trineon charged at the nearest mortal, ready to use it as a club. For a second the voice in Trineon’s head wondered if he was slightly mad from being dead so long, charging into battle head on. But Trineon decided it didn’t matter. He would act now and consider the complications later.
Gin Silti

Much like the cabbie had said, progression through the part of the city near the track was horrible. A record number of people had shown up to see the first race, clogging the streets and airways. Eventually, Gin and Jim reached landing pad four. Gin thanked the driver, before tipping him some extra credits for driving through that chaos.

“Alright Jim, where’s my baby?” Gin asked, slightly annoyed.

“Relax,” Jim said, “They said it should just be down this hallway.”

True enough, at the end of the hallway was an open air area. Landed on it was a large cargo hauler, with Gaelok Industries printed on the side. Several workers of several species were unloading large boxes and various vehicles. Gin sprinted toward the workers, looking for his Ark Gear.

“C’mon,” he said softly as he ran past the crates and boxes.

As he passed one particularly large crate, the red hull of Stinger-Six came into view. Gin rushed to it, hoping to find it undamaged. He would be pleasantly impressed when he looked it over, finding that it was in perfect condition. The techs at Gaelok had seemed to honour their word that they wouldn’t modify his vehicle without Gin’s approval. In fact the only thing they seemed to have done to change it was giving it a new coat of paint.

“Well, they actually listened,” Gin laughed.

“I told ya,” Jim replied with a slur, the effects of the whiskey still present, “Gaelok Industries is number one.”

A human cyborg technician then approached the pair, “I take it that you’re Gin Silti, the pilot.”

“That I am.”

“Well, firstly you have our apology for the lateness of your Ark Gear’s arrival,” he bowed his head, “And secondly, if you are ready you can accompany us to the stadium.”

“I am definitely ready,” Gin said excitedly, “But I think you should go back to the hotel Jim. Sleep yourself sober.”

Jim just nodded as another Gaelok employee called him another hover cab. The cyborg technician then led Gin to a hover hauler, as other technicians loaded Stinger-Six into the back of it. Within a few minutes everything was loaded and the hauler launched off the landing pad.

As the race was now done, the streets were slightly less congested as the hauler made its way to the race track. The pilot turned on the holo news, which revealed that Gin had been spotted by the tournament. Comments would then be posted about why he wasn’t in the first race. Gin asked him to turn it off. Gin was already upset at missing the first race, as it was his time to debut. But he also knew that under the rules he wouldn’t even get the participation prize of one point.

But Gin put that thought aside as the hover hauler entered the stadium through a back entrance. Gin exited the vehicle as the technicians started unloading Stinger-Six. Gin walked over to his Ark Gear, wanting to run some diagnostics before the next race began.
@BenG85
Not sure how I missed this, as I am a huge fan of Spider-Man Unlimited. In fact I had re-watched the show at the beginning of the year. If you're still looking for players, I do have an idea for a Counter-Earth Ant-Man fighting for the resistance.
@TGM
While it sucks to lose out, @Taka did put out a really good character sheet. I wish him and you all the best with the roleplay.

As for possibly making a six person team, I'd totally be down for it. I can easily re-jig Christopher into being a purple ranger. If that ends up happening then I would be very excited.

However it turns out, I hope you guys have a lot of fun being power rangers.
Thanks for the interest you three. I'm going to give it another day or two to see if anyone else is interested. In the meantime I'll start working on a OOC thread, mainly expanding upon the lore to help with character creation.
