The Alexsasha's Retinue

The most prestigious rank one may hold in Ascension is that of Alexsasha or Alexandros, named thus for a famous warlord. It is the closest a mortal may reach to kingship over the Ascendants. It is only fitting the Alexsasha maintains a band of companions by her good-nature, largesse and charisma.

Through her journeys, many have flocked to the banner of the White Empress, for good or ill. Here they are named.

Born and raised to the purple of Vohne, this gentlewoman of war has proved to be a dexterous swordswoman, a cunning admiraless and a better friend. Stoic of character, gentle are her hands, for any weapon in her hands will sing a tune most pleasing to her god, Siakal. She dislikes the frosty heartland of the North, but likes the touch of snow. Despite being a chosen of Dawn, she falls prey to common colds. Away has she been from home for too long, the waves call for her.

A chirpy woman whose past she wraps in a gloomy veil. Well-learned, but not well-spoken. Her smile is sparkling like the shimmering nights of the valleys; her eyes are like fire, but jealousy dwells in her wise heart. She's affectionatively referred as Aunt by Xavier, our protagonist. Odasaru enjoys tea, chocolate, and playing with dogs. Often rivals with Lucille, often comrades, and occasionally lovers. As a Chosen of the Moon, her bond is with Silver, whom she may never have.
