Act two of the original three is done. It is about 100 pages and 23k words. I'll be merging the first two acts into one and the book will end up being about twice as long as originally projected.

Act 1 of 3 is done. It’s about 100 pages and 23k words and has a prelude, 8 chapters, and an interlude. I’m looking at 100k words as an approximate goal.

@World Traveler How in-depth should we be with the pre-hogwarts and hogwarts part of our characters timeline? Because, my character is muggle born and as far as I’m aware nothing exciting happened at hogwarts in that time. Should I just be like, this is what my character’s life was like before magic, also he went to a magic school for an uneventful 7 years then get into the grittiness of being an auror in a post-Voldemort world?
