Izumo Hatsue

While Izumo had to keep up her cheerful persona when facing the public, since she had to keep up the role and impression of an idol wherever she went, Jason did not have such a burden. He was able to stay wary of the situation and had no need to show a certain face to the public at all, since his face was barely known after all. He was seen with Izumo here and there naturally, but he had no cult following like Izumo did. But even he knew what kind of weird and, occasionally, dangerous people existed in this world that other famous people had to deal with before, which usally did not end too well, so he knew that it was better to be save than sorry and kept up his intimidating expression. Luckily for the both of them and unluckily for the anxiety-riddled canine boy, it seemed to be working. A bit too well in fact since he was not even able to get a single word out when they were facing him.
Izumo on the other hand waited patiently for the guy to answer, or rather, do anything at all. Keeping up her warm smile she'd make sure to keep eye-contact, not knowing just how much worse that made it for poor Marius. Though even for her this situation slowly became quite awkward and the people around them who were noticing it were really not helping either. What made it worse was that the crowd around them was full of teenagers, people who were naturally Izumo's main audience so she was just praying that none of them followed the kind of scene she caters to. "This is drawing too much attention!" she thought to herself. Even Jason realized the amount of people that were gathering, luckily it were only roughly about 8-10 people.

Eventually, the worst case scenario occured.

Someone screamed out the name of Izumo. "Are you alri-" she said just a moment before she was interrupted by the shouting. Immediately the same roughly 8-10 people gathered around her and Jason quickly and simply pushed the unknown canine boy away from them in a cruel fashion. Obsessed fans were the worst. Jason instantly positioned himself in front of Izumo to block off anyone who tried to get too close to her with a stern expression whereas the idol herself raised her arms up and tried to calm everyone down.
"E-Everyone please! I will gladly sign whatever you want to, but I am here in my free-time so I would highly appreciate it if you could give me my privacy?"
And so, Jason began directing traffic. Both had already forgotten about poor Marius...

It took them a while but eventually everyone was satisfied as they had received an autograph and a picture with the idol herself! Naturally, on each picture she did a cute pose like a peace-sign for example with a wide and cheerful smile to fit with her idol-persona. Since these fans were all aspiring heroes, they understood that they needed to respect her privacy and personal space which is why they were satisfied after an autograph. "Everyone!" Izumo shouted out to the group of people who were now standing gathered in front of her with Jason next to her. "Thank you so much for all your support! It is thanks to you that I am able to keep going despite all the hardships in my way. Fans like you are the reason why I exist! So please..." Izumo closed her eyes, widened her smile and put her right hand on her hip with her elbow extended outwards and then proceeded to push out that hip a little for a more idol-esque and pretty pose. Her left arm wandered into the air and showed a thumbs up above her head with the arm fully extended.
"Do your best in the exam for me!"
The way she talked directly to the chance with her cute voice, combined with that cute/sexy posed cause the crowd to roar out with a loud cheer.
"Yes Izumo!!! Thank you!!
The idol gave them all a wave and then proceeded to step away from them together with Jason.

Eventually both were around the next corner and away from the preying eyes of her fans. Finally she dropped her smile and sighed out.
"Why does this always happen..."
Jason sighed out in relief too. "You have too many fans Izumo. But..." he mustered her and gave her a cheeky smile.
"Don't pretend like you don't like the attention."
Izu in turn replied by sticking out her tongue teasingly and playfully with a soft smile. "Duh!" and then, both laughed it off happily.

While they attempted to escape the fans' eyes, they did not even notice where they went precisely. For better or for worse they ended up next to a familiar face without even noticing it...
Right next to them was that dog-boy from earlier! They did not even notice him as they were laughing and talking, so mayhaps he still had a chance to escape them before they noticed him? Despite the fact that they were standing practically next to him, they were too focused on the fans initially to really notice him, but that would soon change.

Ruby Mamoru

"Oh?"

Ruby remarked after hearing Aurelia's introduction. Given the circumstances, it seemed to make a lot of sense that a hero would be there, especially since she seemed to be a relative of someone who was a friend of Roy. Considering he was also a classmate of Roy, Ruby had to know him! It took her a few second to connect the dots, but she did so eventually upon thinking about her lastname again.

"So you're Acion's sister then? I guess that'd make sense..."

After all, Acion was one of the few students she had actually talked to properly a few times already after they had faced off in the first exercise that Ruby was allowed to partake in. Since Acion was her first real encounter during the exercise, he was quite memorable for the nekomimi. Before leaving, the grown-up decided to leave some words of encouragement, especially for Ruby. It caught her a bit off guard, especially the winking part at the end, but it was a nice feeling nonetheless to hear these words from someone in Aurelia's position. Ruby awkwardly scratched the back of her head with one hand and replied

"Of course."

Just like Aurelia, Ruby turned her attention back to her old teammate after he had so carelessly teased her. This time however, the neko decided not to let his cheekiness get to her! As if his words barely had any effect on her, Ruby decided to play as if she felt insulted by the belief that she would not be worried about him, even though she understood that he was just teasing her.

"Of course I am worried about you! It is only natural to worry for one's classmates isn't it?"

The neko had decided not to call Roy a friend since she wasn't exactly sure whether he'd be okay with Ruby considering him a friend. As depressing as that sounded since it might have been natural in Roy's mind, Ruby just did not want to risk anything so she decided to stick with this rather neutral way of saying it. Before long though, the boy claimed his worries about Ruby's hands which were wrapped in bandages thanks to her training just a few hours ago. She was quite baffled by the fact that a boy with so many injuries, who can barely move around without the wheelchair he was sitting in was worried about a few bandages on Ruby's hands despite the fact that she can move them well as she had just displayed so the injuries couldn't be that severe.

"It does not matter what happened to my hands... have you looked at yourself? You're in a way worse shape than I am."

Before he had a chance to reply, her cat-ears actually twitched as they picked up on the noises behind her at the other end of the hallway. Ruby recognized Kaida immediately upon turning her head to check out who was there and then looked back to Roy. Without saying much she made it clear that she'd follow him to her room by nodding to him. If necessary, she'd even push his wheelchair there!

"This seems to be the right place."

Jason took another look around their position, letting his eyes stroll over the many partially broken down buildings which almost made this place look like a massive set of ruins. If this location wasn't specified in the informative sheets they've received, Jason would've never even thought about going there, Izu surely thought the same thing. However, despite the eerie athmosphere surrounding them there were also occasionally other people who were roughly about the same age as Izu and Jason, implying that they were indeed right.

"Well..."

Izumu took out her phone to check the time. The case of the phone was a blue case with a white clef on the back and added cat-ears on top of the case. her eyes gazed upon the screen as it lit up, only to let it disappear in her bag again a short moment later.

"We still have a little while until everything starts so I figure we should just wait?"

Jason answered that question with a nod of his own. Both were less talkative than they usually were when being with one another. After all, They've known each other for over ten years at that point. Their friendship even helped benefit them as Izu was able to use Jason's knowledge in technology, since he just was that tech-savvy, in the early days when she tried to become an idol. He was the one who showed her how to do her sound, showed her what equipment to buy and was always by her side when she was doing important steps in her career. However, as it was usual for childhood friends, there was never any romantic interest in one another. They just were really good friends!
The silver-haired boy crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"I don't like that we don't know what kind of challenge awaits us."
Jason said to break the weird silence.
"Yeah, they never tell that beforehand. We are supposed to be prepared for the unprepared or something, as it is common for heroes."

Even Izumo would have much rather prepared more beforehand, but the lack of knowledge proved to be a problem for every student who wanted to attend the hero school, and everyone would have to overcome that obstacle.

While both of them continued to converse, talking about the exercise and everything else surrounding the situation (The city, the other people, their expectations regarding their time at the school and more) someone decided to creep up on the group of two (hopefully) soon-to-be students. A canine boy had crouched and frozen in place beneath both of them, not letting his eyes off of Izumo. While they were talking they barely paid any notice to him, it was only after a few minutes that Jason would finally notice the odd behavior.
Since the canine boy was crouching behind Izu's back, the silver-haired boy had to lean to the side in order to acknowledge him directly. Jason stared at him for a few seconds before awkwardly talking to Izu again.

"Izu... it seems that we have a ... code CF here."

The code CF was one of the many codephrases they thought of in case anything related to her idol career happened. Naturally, given the way the canine was staring at Izu, Jason assumed he was some kind of socially awkward fan who didn't dare to talk to her. Hence the code "CF" (=Crazy fan).

"Oh?"

The idol girl turned around aswell to face the new person whom both of which had not seen before.
She was used to dealing with strange fans, naturally an idol like her couldn't just react negatively to any awkward or weird approaches, that would quickly result in backlash all over the web! Even weird fans like this guy would have to be treated well by Izu, as tough as it was. Therefore, Izu gave him a wide and cheerful smile, one that was so typical during her on-screen and on-stage appearances.

"Can I help you?"
She asked cheerfully. Obviously they couldn't have known that he was after her sandwich, it was reasonable to assume that he was a fan since the've dealt with similar situations before. Jason did not smile as cheerfully as Izu did, he kept his arms crossed in front of his body and gave the new boy a sceptic look.

Ruby Mamoru

As Ruby reduced the distance between her and Roy, she could notice more of his injuries upon closer inspection. He seemed to be bruised and battered pretty badly, the bandages on Ruby's own hands were nothing compared to what he was going through. Considering the state he was in, the "bump" against the wall must've been quite the shock for his body. Ruby processed all those information in her mind until she had finally reached his position. Coincidentally, another girl had also made her way to the wheelchair-bound boy.

Before she had a chance to really say hello to her, Ruby felt a strange heat radiating from Roy. Putting two and two together would imply that it would certainly be related to his quirk, and that totally was not a good idea. In his condition, considering the circumstances, it was a horrible idea even.
Ruby crossed her arms in front of her body and spoke while maintaining eye-contact with Roy, at least if he were to return it.
"Will you stop with that already? You mustn't strain yourself now."

Her expression was quite serious and her tone in a usual manner for her, but it was obvious that she was worried about him, even if she found it hard to express like that. Ruby let out a sigh before shaking her head slightly.
At that point, the neko turned her attention to the unknown girl. Her parents have taught her to always introduce oneself to others properly, otherwise it would be a sign of disrespect. Therefore Ruby began speaking to Aurelia.
"Excuse me, I was too distracted by him right here... My name is Ruby Mamoru, I am a classmate of Roy. It is my pleasure to make your acquaintance." she said respectfully.
"I'd shake your hand but..." Ruby held up both of her bandaged hands. "I am afraid that will have to wait." The neko tried her best to not seem unfriendly while greeting Aurelia because more situations like the one earlier would surely just end up unpleasantly for either party. Once they were done with their introductions, Ruby would focus her attention back onto Roy as she stood in front of his wheelchair somewhat awkwardly.

Ruby Mamoru

Despite the more than serious matter, or maybe even because of it, Ruby stayed quiet for the duration of their short travel to the hospital. There wasn't much she had to say to those who joined them, she basically did not know them at all and felt a disconnect towards them even though they were her classmates. After all, hastily exchanging a few words on school grounds or in class wouldn't make anyone your friend. Hell, Ruby knew more about Amane than about those who were with her and that she accompanied to her other hospitalized classmates. But if she did not follow them to the hospital now, what chance would there ever to be to become friends with them?
Of course she recognized them, especially someone like Jett to whom she had a rather awkward relationship with. Upon seeing him for the first time, Ruby attempted to hide her slight blush and only greeted him in the same quick manner that he did. After all, Ruby didn't even want to think about what happened between them during the exercise. It would surely linger a while as a thought in the back of her mind whenever she'd see him.

Once they had reached the hospital though, it became slightly chaotic. Since Ruby did not really have a very noticeable presence, rather staying in the background of things without saying much, it was easy to forget she was there, especially with everything that happened around the small group that could and would easily be distracting.
Though Jett's question to where they should go first was more than valid, it made Ruby realize that she was not actually quite sure where to, or rather, to whom she wanted to go first. After all, she came along rather spontaneously without asking many questions just like her instincts wanted her to. Therefore she was a little dumbfounded by the question, but luck struck her once more as the perfect oppertunity basically opened up in front of her. She saw Roy looking badly beat up in a wheelchair. Since Roy was practically one of the first people she had met during the exercise, she recognized him immediately and did care about him, especially considering the seemingly intense severity of his injuries that he had sustained. The quiet black cat in the back decided this was her moment to part from the group to follow the wheelchair-bound classmate. Without really saying a word to the others who were still standing in the corridor, Ruby walked in the direction where Roy and the little girl who had followed him went. Luckily for her own ego, Ruby didn't notice yet that someone seemed to be allergic to cats... that would surely lead to a surprise later.

Anyways, she followed them into the hallway, seeing them disappear around the corner before suddenly, the blonde in the wheelchair charged across the hallway in front of her. It was so out of nowhere that the catgirl did not expect it and her cat-ears perked up in frightened attention for a short moment before calming down again. With her eyes still opened rather widely in surprise she muttered to herself
"W-What...?"

As she approached the hallway, she leaned forward so that only her head was visible as she looked from one corner, where Roy was likely shaken from what had just occured together with another woman, to the other corner where the angry loli was standing.
Since she only recognized one of them, Ruby decided to walk towards Roy rather after acknowledging the unknown girl.
"Hey there Roy... are you.., like, are you alright?"
She said awkwardly. This situation was just weird, even for black-haired catgirl standards. Even though she didn't talk much to Roy after the exercise she hoped that showing her concern now would give him reason to maybe even become friends with her eventually. As awkward as that sounded.

It was earlier in the morning and the sun just succesfully managed to pass the horizong, coating the city-landscape in the beautiful morning-athmosphere that this region was known for and the mechanical blinds in the room of a particular boy were slowly opening up to let in the fresh sunrays of the morning into the room. As the room lit up, the pure-white, almost sterile looking walls began to become visible, just like the almost enormously large television that was hanging on the wall to the right of the windows, right above a white cupboard with all kinds of different technological devices, like a blu-ray disc player, various game-consoles and a music station which was connected to two large speakers which were each located next to the flat-screen that was positioned in the center.
On the opposite side of the room, positioned in the center, roughly at the same height as the telivision was the bed which Jason Akizuki was sleeping in. The sheets' design consisted of a white background and one large blue eye in the middle of the blanket, while the pillow was entirely blue with a design that could best be described as "Digital" or "Futuristic".

As the blinds were opened, beams of sunlight began to hit the face of the guy that was sleeping beneath the blankets. The blinds were actually controlled by his digital alarm clock sitting on the nightstand next to his bed. It was a selfmade device which did not wake him up with noises, but rather by opening the blinds and let the light do its thing. Luckily for Jason that plan had always worked out for him so far.
He slowly opened up his eyes and immediately turned his head to the right, since he was laying on his bed and his windows were left of him, to escape the light that was shining directly onto his eyes. After recovering for a few moments, Jason opened up his deep-blue eyes, which were a strong contrast to his almost silver-white hair and looked at the screen of his digital clock, displaying the current time in light-blue numbers. It took his sleepy brain a few moments to process what he just had seen and he closed his eyes again. Eventually though, they shot open quickly and he even set up, throwing the blankets off of his upper body. "The entrance exam!" He shouted out into the room.

Izumo Hatsue

Roughly at the same time as that was happening, in a vastly different part of the town, a gorgous melody began playing, accompanied by a voice similar to that of an angel. At least, that is the way the wikipedia page described her, obviously having been edited by some kind of fan who was overly into her. The person in question, obviously, was none other than the famous online songstress and idol, Izumo Hatsue. With her youtube channel having over three million subscribers, one could argue that she indeed reached a wide audience. But now she was ready for the big stage she thought; Izumo was ready to become a hero.
Where was the singing coming from? It was Izu's daily vocal training while taking a shower in the morning. Everyone sings in the shower, even an idol like her was no exception. "...And she's got something IIIII dooon't... to you~~~"

The bathroom where she was taking a shower in right now was actually connected to the room she slept in. If someone was to rock such a complicated hairstyle like Izu's, having your own bathroom was kind of a necessity. Sometimes it took her an hour just to get her outfit right!
Her own room reflected her interests rather well and made it quite obvious just how much she was into music. There was a large mixer in the middle of the room connected to two E-Pianos and a multi-screen computer setup which she used to compose and work on her songs. Though there were no other instruments actually present in the room, but there was a massive stack of paper in one corner of the room, curiously enough.
So much of her space was dedicated to her music that her bed was rather small and just mindlessly placed in a corner of the room. Its only purpose was to be a resting place for Izumo, so it did not need to have more space dedicated to it.
The only other special feature about her room was a massive walk-in closet which contained all the different outfits that she either wore daily or needed for music-videos.

It would only be a few minutes more until she was done showering...

Jason Akizuki

Only 15 minutes the boy woke up, he was already downstairs and eating his breakfast. He was wearing a grey hoodie-jacket with the symbol of a drawn white eye in the middle, with the text "Placebo" beneath. It was his favorite piece of clothing and surely on an important day such as this he'd be wearing to feel as comfortable as possible.
While the boy was shoving his cereal into his mouth, spoon after spoon, and occasionally taking a bite out of his french toast, he was using his phone to text a friend of his. Will be at the train station in 15. Afterwards he would finish his breakfast while watching the early morning news on the livingroom telivision.

A few minutes later, when he was done eating breakfast, he started to pack his rucksack for the day. While he packed some common stuff like a bottle of water, some food and some sheets to take notes on, there were some rather unusual things too, like four different digital clocks, two wristwatches and two different tablets, among other things. It was easy to see that he had a special passion for technology and the likes.
Once he was done with all the things he needed for the day, he grabbed his purse, phone and headphones and then made true on his promise and left the house to head towards the trainstation.

Izumo Hatsue

Still being in the bathroom, the girl was just finishing up styling her hair while looking into the mirror. As she was doing so, she decided to give herself a quick pep-talk.
"Alright Izu... you got this. You've faced bigger challenges than this, this is nothing compared to the la-" Suddenly, her phone played the all too familiar tune that it would play when she received a message. This time however, it was so sudden that it actually stratled Izu. Because she was so surprised, she actually dropped the Scrunchy which she was using. "A-Ahh!"
The small shriek-ish scream was quickly stopped by herself placing a hand on her mouth. Even though noone saw this, her cheeks were blushing slightly. "Pull yourself together Izu... come on."
The girl checked her phone to see the message "Will be at the train station in 15." to which she replied Okay!~:3
Afterwards, the idol finished up her hairstyle with the last remaining scrunchy.

Even while eating breakfast, which her mother had so lovingly prepared for her, Izu's hands were shaky and, sadly for her, there was noone in the house to calm her down as her mother had just left for work herself. She was really looking forward to meet her friend at this point, she was sure that he'd calm her down like he had done so many times before. Luckily for Izu however, she was practically living next to the train-station which allowed her to leave her house only shortly before the train would arrive.

After her rushed breakfast, Izu quickly grabbed her bag and left the house, locking up behind her. Since she was so nervous about the whole thing, she had already prepared everything the day before like a proper student always should!... according to her mother.

On the outside, her outfit was quite cute. A brown coat on the outside which covered up the white buttoned-up shirt beneath and a striped Blue-green-ish bowtie on her kneck together with a silver pair of headphones. Red ribbons decorated her hair and helped the scrunchies to hold the two pigtails in place. Below her waist she wore kneesocks which went up to her thighs and shoes to match the outfit. The striped skirt that was around her waist obviously had matching colors aswell!
The beg which she was carrying over her right shoulder while walking towards the trainstation had two chibi plush versions of two of her co-idols on her youtube channel and live appearances, they looked quite cute as was expected from an idol like her.
The contents of the bag itself were mostly standard. A bottle of water, a thermos flask filled with green homebrew tea, a lunchbox which was lovingly crafted by her mother. The only somewhat exceptional thing were the rather large amount of white, empty sheets of paper accompanied by a set of ten pens.

In any case, she would arrive at the trainstation soon.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

At the Trainstation

Finally, both would arrive at the train station at the same time. Jason from the nothern entrance and Izu from the southern one.
As they walked up to one another, Jason having his hands in the front pockets of his jacket-hoodie and Izu wlaking while staring at her phone, they eventually noticed one another.
The cheerful idol flashed him a bright smile and walked up to him to give him a hug. Naturally, jason accepted it. "Are you ready?" she asked curiously after they had finished their hug as their train rolled into the station next to them and the wind that it caused made both of their hair move.
"As ready as I can be. You?" he replied.
Izumo nervously scratched the back of her head with an awkward smile and closed eyes. "You know me, I am never really ready."
And with a laugh, both boarded the train.

The train itself was relatively void of other passengers so they were able to grab some comfy seats right as they walked in. Not many people seemed to be wanting to get to the same destination, it was quite far off after all, especially from the view of a city-inhabitant.
Even though the drive itself was rather long, both were able to pass the time quickly by conversing, chatting and calming each other down ahead of such an important deal like the entrance exam. After all, laughter is the best cure for nervousness.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Eventually, the train arrived. The female voice announced it through the speakers so it was hard to miss.
"Next stop, Shinto Village. Please exit the train on the right side and make sure to not leave any obje-..." That was when both of them stopped listening. After all, they already knew everything they needed to know.
It soon came to a halt and the teenagers left the train in anticipation.
"Here goes nothing." Jason noted while walking next to Izu along the bewildered dirt-path that lead to their destination and the ground for the entrance exam.
"Mhm." Izu replied quietly with a nod.
Jason would check his phone, as he so regularly does, only to notice that there was barely any signal there, if any at all. Izu saw it too, looking down on his phone and quietly acknowledging it. As the tension grew for both of them, their conversions decreased in numbers as they left themselves to their thoughts in order to mentally prepare for what was ahead. This was reflected in their facial expression, as even the normally so cheerful and friendly smiling idol now had a neutral, concentrated expression on her face.

It was a few minutes later when they entered the village that one of them broke the silence. Izumo had enough of being silent and, after both of them were able to take the surrounding area in, decided to speak up.
"This village is pretty and all... but where to next? Everything here looks broken and run down..."
"Let me check my notes again."
So now both were standing basically in the middle of the street as Jason grabbed the backpack from his back, placed it in front of him to take out the sheet that was given to them with all the information they needed and began to read it to gain more information on where to go. Meanwhile Izu was looking left and right nervously.
"Are you sure we are right? This place is eerie."

Ruby Mamoru

What did he think he was doing! Ruby didn't agree to this conversation only to get her fightingstyle mocked and criticized! The fact that she contradicted herself did not matter. Totally didn't matter. Nope.
Just when she was about to answer to all the, at least to her, accusations Amane suddenly did something very unexpected. He came closer to her and pinched her cheeks! Instantly the Neko's eyes widened quite largely, it basically stopped her mid-sentence. This was such an unexpected action, Ruby did not know how to react at all! Noone had ever done a similar thing to her... it was a very weird feeling. It kind of got the hair on the back of her neck standing.

Even after she let go the shocked expression of Ruby stayed the same. Her body was not moving at all and only her mouth slowly closed itself as her eyes stared intensely at Amane. The usually very reserved girl that never lost her composure was obviously just overwhelmed with the situation. Most of what Amane said went right through Ruby, she didn't bother to listen much as the pinch was still sinking in.
Ruby's usually very lively tail was just hanging down and staying still.

Finally, Amane would leave and propose to train with Ruby to which she, again, did not react to. Amane had to leave without hearing any word back from Ruby. It were only her eyes that followed him in his tracks.
Once he was fully gone, the neko finally unfroze. It was weird how these unknown social situations could freeze herself almost as well as her quirk could. Oh well.
She moved one hand up to her cheek, where she had been pinched, and traced the tip of her fingers softly over it. "What... was that?"

It would only be after a few more minutes of contemplating that the catgirl finally turned around to enter the dorm and proceed to her room. What a strange day it had been.

@pkken

Ruby Mamoru

As the boy approached her, Ruby crossed her arms in front of her chest to further enhance her body language. What could he possibly want from her? He explained himself by claiming that he wanted to prove whether her victory was a "Fluke" or not. Ruby purposefully ignored the rather insulting and disrespectful past of that comment since she couldn't tell whether he was actually trying to be mean or not. After all, coming all this way after her only to be mean to Ruby would seem odd. Especially for a hero candidate.

"I've proved you everything I had to prove. If you want to believe that was a fluke then so be it. I don't intend to convince you further."

To be honest, Ruby couldn't really be bothered at the moment. She was both socialy and physically exhausted hence why she just wanted to get to her dorm. Though when she was about to announce her departure from Amane, he would call her fighting style a "devolved" form. This time, Ruby actually took it as insulting. Turning back to face him, with her arms still crossed, Ruby would reply again. The girl did however, grit her teeth at Amane's insult to her fighting style.

"Did it catch you off guard? If so then it was a success wasn't it?" Her voice was somewhat noticeable more cold than usual. Mayhaps Amane could tell that she felt insulted.

"Yes I give in to my instincts when I fight like that. That doesn't mean that I don't think however. I don't devolve, I willfully let my instincts take control in a fighting-style that is meant to overpower the opponent because of their inability to react quick enough to the sudden change. And in that way, I succeeded. Besides, my foe cannot counter my moves if they do not understand them."
She couldn't believe that she ended up justifying herself to Amane. Normally, Ruby would never do that. "I guess I do feel kind of insulted."

@pkken

Ruby Mamoru

At this point, Ruby couldn't wait to reach her own room again so that she could finally change her clothes. After all, she still had to wear her roughed up gym clothes since there was no time to change after her little session with Amane. With her bag over her shoulder, Ruby knew that she'd probably spend the rest of the day in her room. She would take a nice and comfy shower, listen to her favorite music and then wrap herself up in her bedsheets for maximum comfyness. Thinking about how she would spend what, comparably little, time was left of the day was enough to make the time that she took to reach her own dorm basically fly by. Even though her legs did feel exhausted, which was only natural, it did not bother her too much.

In her own mind the neko had already zoned out by the time she reached her dormitory. With her eyes staring emptily at the stairs that she would have to climb in order to be temptingly close to her room, A voice suddenly called out her name. It struck her as odd that the, admittedly not unfamiliar, voice recalled her full name, but the surprise was only short lived. A feeling of curiosity had already replaced it as Ruby was somewhat interested in finding out what the strangest character in her story could possibly want from her. That is at least how she viewed it.

When he had spoken her name, Ruby stopped in her tracks and stood still for a few seconds before having decided that she would grant the brute his attention and turned around fully to face him. Golden eyes inspected his frame as she made it clear without saying a word that she would listen to what he had to say. The way Amane had presented himself indicated that it would at least be somewhat important. Besides, he didn't seem like someone who was bothered with trivial talk. "No, he is too edgy for that."

@pkken

Ruby Mamoru

By now her hands had been carefully warpped up in bandages to cover up the skin that was shred during her little... exercise. Watching her hands that were now hidden behind the white cloth, Ruby remembered seeing drawings online of people who think that these kind of bandages that would cover people's hands look aesthetically pleasing or maybe even cool. Though Ruby was used to have some similar form of black cloth above her wrists up to her elbow, since she would use that in combination with her quirk in many useful ways and not even all of them combat-related as it just served as a multitool for her, having these bandages on her hands was new for her. In any case however, Ruby was thankful for the oppertunity to have her wounds treated and attended to. Once she was done, the catgirl bowed forward to Kiwi; She always valued respect and manners. "Thank you very much for treating my wounds"

By now, Ruby's physical and social energy was basically drained. Someone who wasn't used to social interaction too much would only end up being uncomfortable meeting one new person after the other. After all, she had already met Persia today and at this point the attention had shifted to someone with a peculiar quirk, but sadly not enough to keep the catgirl there. She just wanted to lay down in her bed and read her books. On her own. Maybe listen to music? She could drink some tea too! The more the neko thought about it, the more it became clear that she wanted to head to her room. Besides, she also felt physically exhausted too of course. While she was pretty good at pretending to not be completely exhausted, there was no way she would do any more workout today.
Ruby headed towards the door and spoke to Persia and Mamoru. "Thank you very much for accompanying me to the Nurse's Office. I'll go to my room now though, I could use some rest. I'll see you guys around." Despite talking in her common neutral voice, it shouldn't seem unfriendly towards Mamoru or Persia, who were somewhat used to Ruby's monotonous voice by now. To Toru it might have seemed a bit off, but Ruby made sure to nod to him in order to say goodbye to him too. She was sure they'd meet again eventually, he seemed to be their age.
And with that, Ruby left the room.
