Well, certain touched like handshakes and simple touches are ok. And it depends on how the touch is, like if its a full on hug normally no more than 2-5 minutes
And they can also change if they are weakened a considerable amount.

Not just the girl but any person of the opposite sex, like if a male had the spirit of the animal and a female without a spirit hugged him he would turn into his animal
