The Thalken stare fest keeps getting better and better xD
@Dark Light No. If you want to run an NPC, you need to fill out an CS for the NPC and send it to me by PM. You've got a paragraph of updates just for Jon that you can respond to, detailing the scenery and the environment. Hell, Harlianne can even see him, as is mentioned in my last post, from where she is on the deck. Your character is enslaved and being put up for auction. There should be plenty for you to write, tons of emotions and thoughts, as well as reacting to what I put in your paragraph update. (Remember, you decided to make this type of character--now explore him ^_^ )
I'm in the process of remaking/updating an old character concept to work as another SHIELD agent. ^_^ If all goes well, she'll be up soon

Dorothy Pender

Location: Cargo Bay

Dorothy smiled a bit as she saw people coming into the cargo bay, carrying various pieces of belongings. Foy had some sort of chair with him--one that Dorothy felt certain, after his long winded assurances, wasn't Alliance brand at all. And Jahosafat, from what she could tell, had been scavenging some of Camilla's belongings and putting them with his own. It felt awful, seeing Camilla's life reduced to just items in a box, but there wasn't anything to say or do about it. She was a doctor, not a necromancer.

Rolling up her sleeves, Dorothy then switched into the second part of her task from Anisa: inspecting the items that were packed away. Daphne, as far as Dorothy was aware, hadn't returned yet. But the sooner she reprimanded her little sister, the better. An organized and methodical person, Dorothy hated having an urgent task sitting on the back burner like this, but there wasn't anything she could do, short of running into town and looking for Daphne everywhere. That would just waste everyone's time.

Whistling softly to herself as she got to work, Dorothy started inspecting the crates that had been set aside in the cargo bay carefully, doing her best to respect the privacy of individuals. Though there wasn't much she could do with that, really, beyond not reading anything personal and going as quickly as she could, while still being effective. She checked for Alliance brand items and those that could be easily identified as from the Retribution and pulled anything that she found out from the crates.

Fitz Townsley

Location: Town

Fitz smiled gratefully at Daphne, relieved to see the woman smiling at him. Despite his clumsiness for bumping into her, she didn't seem to be mad at all. Rubbing the back of his head a bit nervously, he chuckled awkwardly, before his eyes widened as Daphne revealed she was a pilot. He couldn't quite believe his luck. He had been intending to head to the docks later on to find a ship that either needed passengers or a decent engineer.

"Th-that's wicked cool," Fitz said earnestly. "Wh-what kind of ships have you flown and where to...if you don't mind me asking?" He blushed slightly, worried that she'd find him to be odd or too inquisitive. He knew all about the mechanics of ships and the science behind it, but never had he ever dreamt of getting to pilot one of them. To meet someone who piloted ships, someone so young as well, he felt a bit dazzled and stunned. Maybe she'd have some sort of advice for him, when it came to looking for a ship to travel with as well. But of course, he couldn't help but feel a bit presumptuous.

"I-I understand if you're busy...You're probably very busy, forget I said anything," Fitz finished, tapping his fingers against his head, as if it would make his brain work a little bit faster. He was always so clueless when it came to social situations. It was his lot in life--he spent his time around engineers at a university. And those types had never been well known for their social skills.

Cecily & Iris

Location: Justice Asylum For The Criminally Insane: the Ludwig Building

Cecily looked up from her phone and nodded. She had been mulling over the information she found, as well as Caesar's news that he had a former associate at the prison. It would've been a stroke of luck if the person was still alive, they might have been able to provide an identification. At the moment, it felt a bit like chasing Lash in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but not knowing his true identity. At the moment, all they had was a codename and the name of a prison Proserpine did time at.

"Yeah, Cecily Ashworth, pleased to meet you," Cecily replied. "I was called over here to examine the scene, the orderly's body and whatnot..."

Iris nodded. She knew that Marc Tinder went to high school with Cynthia. It was all in the girl's files and Iris had been blessed with the useful skill of a photographic memory. It made achieving all she did at such a young age so much easier than it could have been. But as for Cynthia's file, she figured Agent Tinder could make good use of that. Most of her notes on Cynthia had been mental ones, but she could either jot them down for him if he liked or she could simply tell him them. The thing that interested her the most was the way that Cynthia appeared to adapt the mindset of the murderer in these sort of situations, despite being innocent herself. It reminded her of an early warning system, almost.

"Bien sûr, I'll go fetch them," Iris informed Marc, smiling a bit as he squeezed her shoulder and went about his own business. Having a sense of use was helping to improve her mood and keep her focused. She hurried off to her office and searched through her drawers, before finally coming upon Cynthia's file. Grabbing it, she hurried back towards the hallway from hell.

Cecily was less than impressed with the SWAT team's response time, sighing slightly. The justice system in Justice wasn't that remarkable, especially when the police only showed up so late. Roy still hadn't messaged her either, a fact that was beginning to weigh on her. Either he was dirty or he was dead, she figured. Things seemed to go that way lately. She nodded as Caesar asked if she was good to go. Most of the intensive work on the scene would be done by now, she figured, and the grunts could finish up. It was a clear and cut case, anyways. All that really had to be done was sign the death certificate of the orderly and rule it a homicide.

"Anything that isn't seafood will do," Cecily replied to Keystone. Truthfully, her favorite food happened to be pancakes, but the thought of Caesar and Keystone cramming themselves into a booth at iHop felt a little silly.
No spoilers ^_^
Lol folks, we already have a death. XD

October Crypt

Interacting With: @Nallore Carolina and Cassandra Reed
Location: Saranac Lake

October felt Carolina's gaze but didn't turn to meet it, concentrating mostly on keeping her body temperature as low as she could make it. While she could augment flames, once they came into existence she couldn't just reabsorb that energy. She had never been able to do that. Any fire that she accidentally set would draw attention. She could tell that Cassandra winced slightly, but it was the very best she could do to avoid Carolina and herself ending up put on a list like animals.

October raised a bit of an eyebrow as Carolina grabbed the box. It wasn't something she expected from the girl, figuring that she'd let the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents grab it. And from the way they aimed their icers at her for a moment, she figured they weren't comfortable with that sort of action. She was lucky that her sister was one of the agents there on mission.

"Of course," October replied simply, following Carolina and Cassandra to the quinjet. She wasn't sure what sort of questions they'd ask, but she hoped they related to the object. Like S.H.I.E.L.D., October couldn't help but be fascinated by it. "What sort of questions, Agent Reed?"

Starkette

Location: Airspace above DC -> Hanson Power Plant
{"McAvoy or Stewart? These timelines can get so confusing."}

Starkette had read a brief description of the blonde girl's powers. As far as Starkette was aware, she could mostly just give the potential outcomes of decisions. She hardly felt that was good from a surveillance perspective and that it lent itself better for strategizing and coordinating teams sent in on the ground. But of course, the shapeshifter chimed in as well, offering to be eyes in the sky. While that would be good for an initial look, Starkette couldn't help but find it impractical. Was the girl intending to fly out, take a look, fly back, report in, and repeat in an endless cycle?

She bit her nails slightly, subtly reminding herself to play well with others. It wasn't a common trait in her family, but one she tried her best to exhibit. She didn't want to be defined by her parents--she didn't even want to be defined by her grandfather. There was a reason why she went by a codename, disguising her true identity from almost everyone. Those at S.H.I.E.L.D. were in the know because they had to be. Everyone else could be left guessing as to who Starkette really was.

Thankfully, Cassandra was brilliant at strategizing, as ever. Establishing a perimeter to evacuate civilians was a good move. It'd minimize casualties and the Brotherhood wasn't known for being human friendly, after all. The attack on the power plant was likely a point in a larger plan to cause chaos and terror on all of Washington D.C., the nation's capitol. Evacuations were crucial. Sending in the speedster as a scout was a good idea as well, one that made sense to Starkette, even if the man himself seemed less than pleased. It annoyed Starkette--why sign up to be an X-Men if you're going to be pissy about it?

By the time the plane had landed, Starkette had been fiddling with her watch. It was a custom piece from Stark Industries--she had done an internship there for her final two years of high school, given that it wasn't that far from school. Its computer was powerful enough for their purposes and with a tap, it projected a holographic keyboard and readout. Essentially, Starkette had opened up terminal, equipped with a virtual machine that had a variety of tools and tricks to it.

It took her less than a minute to ping the ip addresses used by the Hanson Power Plant, with a quick WhoIs search giving her the relevant numbers. A good portion of machines were up and running, which made Starkette grin. Penetration testing would need to happen next, and thankfully, people tended to be rather ridiculous when it came to usernames and passwords. She took the name of the administrator listed on the WhoIs profile and then ran it through a custom program she had written, one that would generate usernames based off of an input. With those usernames, she then took her password list from her John the Ripper program and ran those logins, bitting her finger nails in the process.

Right as Cassandra gave Marygold a tap on the shoulder, Starkette's program found a match. "Weak," Starkette rolled her eyes. She had expected it to take at least ten minutes to find a match. But with remote access available to the machine of one user, she did a quick search for surveillance feeds, and grinned as she found them. A few more lines of code later and she had sent the feed over to the blackbird's main computers, just in case, though she intended to log into one of the terminals in the HQ set up.

"We're in," Starkette announced, tapping her watch twice to end the holographic projection. "Honestly, this plant is so vulnerable it makes Aquaman look badass." She snorted, pleased with her own joke. She had seen the Aquaman movie that DC put out. She still found Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy to be infinitely cooler. She then caught up to Cassandra, excited for how well the mission had been going already. And quite thankful for her watch. It was her pride and joy, like a baby to her. The power of a macOS in such a small size.
