Megan Pendragon

Location: Camelot
Skills: N/A

Megan raised a bit of an eyebrow, hearing the pride in someone's voice as they claimed Robin Hood as their parent. It felt incredibly weird to her. They hadn't done anything to "win" or "lose" at. They didn't know their parents. The connection they had to them was essentially purely genetics and as an educated professional, Megan knew that skills couldn't be inherited. There was no reason as far as she was concerned to be proud of who one's parent turned out to be in this scenario. Why define oneself based on someone you had never met? Why not have pride based on your own strengths?

And then someone else was apparently not impressed with the woods they had been transported to? Megan was having less and less patience with these people. They had fought against Maleficent and teleported to a world that they had no idea existed when the day had begun. And that wasn't enough? They wanted more? She shook her head slightly, wondering if the most intelligent person among them was her brother - a truly scary thought. "Not really... I've always wondered about my parents, but it'll mostly just be nice to know my family medical history. I'd like to be prepared if we have a history of schizophrenia. I think I'd be a good madwoman regardless, however... But as much as I am curious about them, they ultimately don't mean much. I'm glad that I exist, but they're strangers. My real family's right here, annoyingly without any idea on how to use a gun."

She picked through the bag of clothing, pulling out a silver tunic and some trousers, as well as a sturdy pair of boots. She wasn't really into wearing dresses - besides, dresses weren't practical anyways. She found a tree that no one had claimed and she changed behind it, leaving her hair down.

Neil Spellman

Location: the Danger Room
Skills: N/A
Neil nodded slightly at Annie's suggestion of a first aid kit. That probably would have been a good thing to grab - they could even put it underneath the game, making it easy to cart both of them around. He wondered if the Danger Room could provide one for them. It seemed like the sort of thing that Xavier would have had installed, just in case. But at the same time, he wondered if a first aid kit would even do much good - it would have to be a heavy duty one. They weren't getting paper cuts from this, the injuries were real. Loki was actively trying to kill them.

They really didn't have a chance to catch their breath. "Carolina!" Neil yelped, looking in horror. She had been there one moment and now she was gone, as if she hadn't existed, a flash of light the only thing he could remember. He forced the events to replay over and over again in his head. His best friend was gone. She was trapped inside of the game from what he remembered in the movie. Anger bubbled up inside of him, threatening to spill over. He had been powerless to protect Carolina. They were stuck at the mercy of Loki. They were playing this game, just waiting for it to kill them.

"We need to get her back!" Neil exclaimed. He had never raised his voice this much before. A plan formed in his head. If he used his telekinesis, maybe he could force a roll of 5 or 8 once he took his turn. He didn't trust Banner to role for their duo anyways. He'd probably scream at the dice and eat them or something.

Guin Stark

Location: the Danger Room
Skills: Telepathy (Mental Link)
So? He went to Asgard! Without me! Have you ever heard of something so rude? Guin quipped to Pietro via the mental link. She was stunned that Carolina and Elizabeth had vanished in a flash of light, but based on the events so far, they must have just been trapped inside of the game like Robin Williams' character. And of course, even being shocked wasn't enough to keep her from running her (mental) mouth. It sounds like he was actually doing something kind of important if he was helping Thor out.

"Fine, you get a pass since I was on my honeymoon," Guin told Lance with a bit of a smirk. "But next time you get a trip to Asgard, I want in." She figured whatever Lance was doing to help Thor, she could help out with too. Superhero teams always benefited from having at least one telepath around after all. Of course, as soon as she thought that, she realized that the Avengers tended to not have telepaths on hand. There was an opening there to explore. Eh, let's go! Get it over with! Alright if you say so Guina

Guin scooped up the dice and she rolled a twelve. She peered over at the center of the game with fascination, as the latest riddle swirled into being:

They like to laugh
But they're not your friends
If you take them lightly
It will be your end

There will be a shadow of movement off to the right, and the sound of some strange laughter nearby. Emerging from the shadows there is an entire pack of hyenas, there had to be at least two dozen of them, perhaps even more. They instantly start charging right at the group. One targets Guin, but luckily Pietro was somewhat fast enough to pull her out of the way, unfortunately he wasn't quick enough to stop a slash from the creature's claws slashing his arm in the process and it started bleeding.

✨ Rebecca Eventide ✨

Location: Argo III - Upper Deck
Skills: N/A

Rebecca was slightly disappointed to hear that Jason was unaware of his star sign. "They're rather revelatory. Of course, star signs are hardly an exact science, but they are excellent for exploring one's strength and weaknesses... I often think of them as advice from a friend on where my talents are and what I could strive to approve upon." She thought of tarot readings rather similarly. The gift of foretelling the future was rather rare and as far as Rebecca knew, it was restricted to the Oracles of Apollo. She was about to think about the interpretation of Alannah as a Leo when there was a crash and a magnificent beast landed on the ship. It was wounded, a spear in its side. "Excuse me, I believe there's someone in need of our assistance," Rebecca apologized. Andy and Arthur hadn't seemed to notice the beast.

She hurried on out and emerged onto the deck proper. Once outside, she began to move a lot more slowly and carefully. Yes, griffins were monsters but the poor thing had been wounded and crashed onto their ship. "Do not be afraid - no harm will come to you," Rebecca promised softly, moving forward. She held out the back of her hand, the way she would for a dog to sniff. The griffin sniffed her hand and it didn't seem to be hostile. "You're wounded. May I help you? I can treat and dress your injury, nurse you to health... My name is Rebecca."

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Argo III - Galley
Skills: N/A

"It doesn't make a lick of sense to call them French fries though, they're not even from France - which is a bloody waste of a country, if you ask me," Leda argued. She was very much proud of her country and a large element of national British pride was hating the French. She would rather see the London Eye than the Eiffel Tower any day. She liked to imagine that the Greek gods had spent a longer time in England than they did in France as well to add legitimacy to the nationalistic rivalry. She snorted a bit as Kiera turned the conversation back to the Cow!Mary. "Maybe we'll have to see about a recreation in order to snap a photo."

The ship shook slightly and Leda had to force herself to breathe out steadily. She wasn't a huge fan of turbulence. She had flown to the United States after a satyr had found her and she hadn't been a fan of the plane shacking at seemingly random intervals. She had to wonder if Zeus did it on purpose to terrify those who chose to travel in his domain. It seemed like a Zeus thing to do - that and seducing a flight attendant. "We could play Truth or Dare," Leda suggested.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: New Rome - Senate Building
Skills: N/A

Nancy took her seat next to Madalyne. Sometimes, it caught her off guard how drastically her life had changed. It still felt incredibly recent, running away from home on the Vegas Strip and stumbling into the Lotus Hotel. Her time there had passed in the blink of an eye, with only the deep and enduring trauma proving that she had been there at all. Some scars never healed, never faded. She had been a victim of sexual assault - but also a survivor. And each day, Nancy grew a little bit more powerful. She'd never allow herself to be the victim of men again.

Madalyne was always more diplomatic with the Senate than Nancy would have been. She stood up as well, being a bit more blunt about things. "Every piece of information we get is lives saved. If we don't talk to Atlas, then we can't prepare as effectively, and there will be more death. More innocents. If you don't want to see New Rome painted red, then it's what we have to do. Mads and I have the best team we can put together. Any other team and we might as well not try at all."

Agent 13's Apartment...

Agent 13 nodded at Matt's question. She grabbed her elbow, clearly indecisive about something. She was an undercover operative assigned to monitor Captain America - she shouldn't have been sloppy about telegraphing her feelings. It must have been an intentional choice. The easiest explanation would have been that she didn't consider them a threat. "He operates like the world didn't change a day since he went into the ice in 1945," she said. "Just run facial recognition software, hack into some security cameras, I'm sure you'll get a hit."

She then frowned a bit, looking at Flynn. "What crawled up your ass and died?" Agent 13 shifted her weight, crossing her arms. "It's fine. It wouldn't be S.H.I.E.L.D. if the timing was perfect," she told Asokho.

Bonnie Chase

Location: Steve Rogers' Apartment
Skills: Blessing of Athena, Perception,
"Oh, no. I was a good Catholic girl, did ROTC and all that," Bonnie said with a bit of a chuckle. "I guess... I've been noticing that everything has been a bit sharper lately, a little clearer. Picking a lock isn't that different from surgery I thought so... I just tried it."

Bonnie smiled slightly at Niah's observation. The little moments of humor were helping with the tense atmosphere, as was the distance from Flynn, both emotionally and physically. She was trying her best to keep focused on the mission, but a little dialogue kept on running in the back of her head. If he apologized for shouting at her, then that would be one thing. But if he didn't... well, she deserved better than that and she didn't need a boyfriend to feel whole. "Must be a World War II thing, avoiding doors at all costs," Bonnie suggested.

A lot of things were sticking out to her in the apartment. The bedroom was extremely tidy and well kept, the sheets done to military regulation. There was a radio by the bed where some of the labels had been rubbed off, indicating that Rogers was a sucker for using it. Pictures on the walls were mostly black and white, looking like they had been pulled from archives. One of them was of the famous Peggy Carter, founder of S.H.I.E.L.D. The only photographs in color featured the Avengers - a particularly cute one showed Captain America on a farm with Hawkeye and his kids.

"I'm fine," Bonnie said to Cass softly, but her smile faded on the last word and her voice cracked slightly. "I just... I guess he wasn't who I thought he was." She fell silent for a moment, blinking her eyes rapidly before refocusing on the task at hand. "Do you have any idea why he went to Queens?" Bonnie asked Niah. She opened up the closet door and saw that there had been something recently removed as Niah indicated.

Something else in the closet caught her attention though - up on the top shelf was a box of tampons. She blushed slightly, not wanting to intrude on Captain America's personal life. Bonnie left those alone, turning around as Oliver gave them what he had managed to find. It wasn't surprising to hear that Steve Rogers had almost no internet security beyond his inability to charge electronics.

Amelia Baptiste

Location: the Triskelion - Hangar -> Mechanical Engineering Lab
Skills: N/A
"Is your flying sister named Katara?" Amelia joked. She had watched a lot of Avatar the Last Airbender once she got her powers in order to get ideas. There weren't really a lot of resources on how to manipulate the air and most of the ones out there were just rather limited in scope. Honestly, more people with powers should have just gotten into comics and shows in order to find ways to fight better. S.H.I.E.L.D. trainers were painfully unoriginal, thinking that just air blasts were sufficient. "And crikey, that's so cool! Is there a limit to how many powers you can get at once? Like you could absorb every Avenger's stuff and just take 'em all on?"

Her eyes widened as Sparky dropped like a rag doll. Before she could really react or anything else though, Sparky was awake again and moving - it must have just been a momentary lapse of consciousness. "You're such a badass cunt. I love it! Fainting, and now you're up and thinking of ways to help me fly? You're so lit!" Amelia gushed. "I think the three of us are really bonding. We're best friends for life now. I better get an invite to your wedding," she finished, nodding at Sparky. She had seen the engagement ring on Sparky's left hand.

She followed Sparky along, ending up in the mechanical engineering lab. Out of pure instinct, Amelia prodded a balance slightly, watching the numbers shift slightly. She wandered around the room, just touching things, picking them up, finding something else more interesting, messing with that, and so on. She ended up dropping a fragile piece of glass and it shattered, but Amelia didn't care. She was completely in awe with the gorgeous glider Sparky had made. "I love it!!!" she shouted, moving on over and wrapping Sparky up into a hug. She spun the engineer around in a circle a few times.

Neil Spellman

Location: the Danger Room
Skills: N/A
The ground was shaking and Neil gulped slightly. The riddle was far too ominous, basically telling them that they had to find somewhere else to move to. The only other place in the mansion he could think of as well fortified as the Danger Room would have been the hangar that housed the Blackbird - or technically the Blackbird itself. His gut told him though that strategically picking locations was going to just force the game to make them move again and again, until they would have exhausted all their options. And more horrifyingly, the bugs could be anywhere by now - maybe they were even moving through the catacombs of the school, hunting them down - could they smell fear? "I uh, just a bit of motion sickness..." he answered Carolina meekly. He was already feeling better though, as standing still was helping.

Annie was being a bit too cheerful about a stampede of rhinos coming to run them all over. He had nearly gotten hit by cars during trips to New York City and that was as close to being trampled that he ever wanted to be. He really liked not being a pancake. His face twisted into a frown as he heard Banner mention something about Asgard, only to then distinctly hear Lance brag about meeting the God of Light. Everything was handed to Banner on a silver platter and he still felt the need to act like a traumatized victim and abuse everyone around him with his anger. He hoped the God of Light beat Banner up. It would have been a nice favor for society at large.

He barely had time to be annoyed with Guin making things all about her again when the stampede came to fruition. A giant elephant slammed into him, throwing him thirty feet backwards with ease. The Danger Room didn't really seem to care about helping him out, as Neil slammed into the ground, acquiring tons of scrapes and bruises, as well as a nasty gash on the back of his head. There was a silver lining to all of this - he finally was distracted from thinking about his break up with Sara. "Th-thanks," he said to Carolina as she got him to relative safety. Neil looked on at Iris' puny wall of fire with dazed confusion. He blinked and the animals were gone. His head injury must have been pretty bad. Like magic, his wounds healed themselves and closed up, as if it hadn't happened.

"...Thanks," he then said softly, looking over at Edus. No one else on the team could heal.

Guin Stark

Location: the Danger Room
Skills: Telepathy (Mind Switch)
They really couldn't have nice things. People also didn't really seem to believe in taking a break between dice rolls, as Edus Penis (she really had to wonder how any mother would name her kid something like that) rolled the dice and brought on the latest set of horrors. There were still a bunch of bugs hunting them down and trying to kill them, but apparently it was more fun to just have everything happen at once. If that was the strategy they were using, then they might as well speed roll. She hated games that were basically just glorified dice mechanics. Random numbers as a basis for luck and success were irritating.

"One sec," Guin said, before switching back and finding herself in her own body. "My idea is - and it's right, since I'm basically always right - is that if I switch with something, whatever was wrong with their powers for them will go for me as well. Probably a nice little feature from the God of Drag." Her eyes shot up in excitement as Lance mentioned that he went to Asgard. "You went to freaking Asgard without me? Your best friend?!" Guin complained. "That is so not cool!"

But before she could press him for more details, the stampede arrived, whacking a good portion of their team around. Pietro snatched her up despite her Iron Star Armor and rushed her out of the way of the animals without giving her a second to protest. Iris made a small wall of flames, reminding her of the Fire Lord's Throne Room in Avatar. Bethany was the real MVP though, using her shadows to vanish all of the animals. "Okay, Bethany, you are definitely going to get drafted by the Avengers if you keep that up!" Guin gushed. "That was the most amazing display of powers I've ever seen - and I saw Thor drink 200 things of beer in a row once."

Location: Top of the Pipe

Vinnie's eyes narrowed as Greenie sassed her. She had been on her side when it came to not trusting Cal, unlike everyone else present. She hadn't done anything to treat her like a kid. It all just felt like a big slap in the face. Sure, Vinnie hadn't had a good first impression of Greenie - she was creepy. But in the few hours, days, weeks, how long had they been there? Well, however long it had been, she had gotten a little bit more used to her weirdness. And now rather than being creeped out towards Zarina, Vinnie was angry. They were in an incredibly confusing and complicated situation, her memories were coming back as slowly as pasta moved through the little slots in a cheese grater, and Greenie had the nerve to yell at her for things other people were doing!

If her anger could have been compared to a mythical creature, well, Vinnie was about to release the kraken. "Seriously? I stood up for you and this is how you're treating me, like I'm a snot booger on a teacher's nose and you just want me gone? News flash, I don't care how old you are! I care about you as a fucking human being and if you've got a stick so far up your ass that you have to belittle the person who came to make sure you weren't a freaking corpse up here, then maybe helping you was a waste of my time and effort! I'm risking my life and you can't even PRETEND to be a little bit nice? You know what, screw you, you can go to hell, I don't need to waste my time on negativity. I don't have space for toxic people in my life."

She heard a radio crackle, as well as Tessa behind her. She then heard what sounded like Sophia even farther down. Fueled by righteous rage, Vinnie hauled herself up the rest of the way, scrambling onto the catwalk. It wasn't a controlled motion at all, as Vinnie stumbled and almost tripped over her own two feet. For a brief second, she felt just the force of gravity on her and the resistance of air, as she almost toppled over the edge. Her heart stopped beating and didn't continue until she regained her balance. She didn't have a real chance to think though before she saw an extremely tall person with a radio - they looked human, but also like they had been stretched out using a torture device to gain a few extra feet. "Hey, Tall Guy, is this the way to the bathroom?" Vinnie shouted, drawing attention to herself. There wasn't really anywhere to hide on a catwalk. She might as well get out in front of this.

Raynor barely skipped a beat before he answered. "Identify yourself," he said gruffly. It was like some instinct of his. Everything had redundancies. Everything was confusing. He had no idea who he was talking to but he was worried they had the kid or something - if Raynor could confuse the Them long enough, maybe Zarina would be able to escape.

The Ruins of the Old Mutant Underground DC HQ...

"Spasibo, Spark Plug," Colossus said quietly. His voice sounded like grave. His tears had finally run out, as he slowly managed to regain composure for a moment. Colossus' grief was hitting him like waves rocking a ship - sometimes he was able to stay steady, other times he was slammed down onto the deck and left at the mercy of the raging ocean. Despite his grief, he managed to perfectly see what had happened with Max.

"...Bamf..." Colossus muttered. "Max has the gift of Nightcrawler." He sniffed the air slightly. "With less smell."

Veil

Location: George Washington University: the Street
Skills: N/A
Veil quietly committed the names of the new mutants to memory as she heard them. Andy was the electricity manipulator who continued to compare her brother to Justin Bieber, most likely unaware that Echo was indeed Canadian. Had she not been reeling from the emotional shock of losing Moonwalker, she might have joined in on ribbing Echo. The young green haired technopath with the floating eyeball was vomiting words, uttering question after question without giving anyone a chance to address them. Veil couldn't even keep track of them all, so she decided to just give her the IMBD plot summary of what had just happened.

"We're the Mutant Underground. We rescue mutants in trouble and get them to safety. We were here trying to get information on M-Pox, only to come out and find some sort of brawl. The cops hate mutants and assume we're behind everything, they'd lynch us without hesitation. The Purifiers are basically humans who also want us dead. The Sentinel was S.H.I.E.L.D. property, they're mutant killing machines, specifically designed to snap our necks or imprison us without fair trial. And the other mutants who showed up are part of the Hellfire Club, basically a bunch of rich mutants who see violence as the only answer and don't care about the collateral damage."

"Polaris isn't part of them," Havok insisted stubbornly. The Mistress of Magnetism was still out cold, with Havok keeping a protective arm around her. He hadn't really thought things through, preferring to just sort of force reality to be what he wanted it to be and damn the consequences. He loved Polaris after all - he didn't believe she was evil in any shape or form. It had to be some sort of trick, some brainwashing done to her by Mastermind or Emma Frost or someone. Sometimes he honestly believed that telepathy was an inherently corrupting power.

"Sapphire is second in line to inherit leadership of our cell - Spark Plug is first," Veil added, ignoring Havok. "It's then Colossus, Havok, and... well, it had been Moonwalker next." She sighed sadly, forcing herself not to tear up at the thought of Moonwalker's life being snuffed out. Waverley seemed to be taking it pretty hard. She made a mental note to ask Sapphire if they had any medicine on hand to help her sleep, Feedback would probably be needing it.

Casper Theriot

Location: Mutant Underground: Medical -> ???
Skills: Mediumship
"At least you had the decency to do this near medical," Negasonic muttered with a sigh. She glanced around before she found a trash can and presented it over to Glimpse. "Wait," she said. There was a sharpie on one of the shelves in medical which she grabbed and brought on over. She drew a makeshift skull and crossbones on the bin, labeling it BIOHAZARD. "There. Feel free to empty your blood into there. I don't think it's recyclable."

Meanwhile, Casper found himself in the midst of what had to be either a dream or a strange out of body experience. He was standing in medical, looking at himself on the bed. He glanced to his left and his right, spotting Ben. "Hey Ben! Am I dreaming?" Casper asked. "Or is this like Avatar when Aang would go into the spirit world? They don't have bathrooms there do they? Because I think I need to pee... Can ghosts pee? WAIT AM I DEAD? Did I die?"

"Uh... You're not dreaming. Honestly, can your powers get any weirder?" Ben asked, looking at Casper puzzled. "I think... I think your soul fell out of your body or something? Maybe because you tried to channel me, you accidentally... did the reverse and brought yourself over to the other side?"

"Hmm, that sounds like some bullshit from the writer's room in a bad superhero comic," Casper pointed out. In retrospect, most of his life seemed like something out of a comic book. His father was the world's worst father and best telepath, a horrible mixture. His mother was a member of Magneto's Brotherhood. One of his brothers was missing and the other was addicted to doughnuts. His only sister was on Muir Island receiving treatment. Oh, and he had a niece who wasn't that much younger than his brother thanks to time travel mishaps.

"Well you haven't done drugs in a while, maybe your powers are getting stronger," Ben suggested. He was genuinely confused, staring at Casper as Casper walked through the door and emerged in the hallway where Negasonic was tending to Glimpse. Casper's eyes widened with delight. "I can walk through walls? That's so cool!" Casper gushed.

He ran down the hall and slammed on through door after door, walking through walls and just enjoying this sort of out of body experience. Ben struck his palm against his head, shocked with his friend's choice of activity. Casper eventually stumbled on Max and James. "Hey, stay away from my man!" he shouted. As he looked at Max, there was a flickering afterimage as Feedback's mother appeared.

"AVENGE ME!!!!!!!!" she screamed like a banshee.

Runa Johansson

Location: Hotel Valhalla - Floor 472
Skills: N/A

Runa wasn't sure whether to be happy or hurt that so many people wanted to go on this trip to Earth. She hadn't considered the possibility that they were trying to be friendly really, more feeling like they were trying to babysit her or prevent her from escaping - which to be fair, that was her plan so far. She wanted to go to Earth in order to run away from her problems. She couldn't be blamed for the destruction of the universe if they couldn't find her. And it was so much easier to run away from things rather than face them. As a teenager with depression, it pretty much was her go to strategy - her arms told that story with the scars.

She froze though as Arnora explained that she would actually have to go to dinner - and not only that, but everyone would be able to watch the most traumatic moment of her life (or death?) and learn the identity of her parents. Her blood felt like liquid nitrogen. Her nerves were shot. Her eyes darted rapidly as she tried to figure out a place to run to, a way to hide. If people knew she was the daughter of Balder, then they'd be able to blame her when the world died for not saying anything. But it was definitely too late right to come clean and say what she had seen? They'd probably all assume that she had taken Loki's deal or something and that she was working with the enemy.

"...I'm allergic to crowds..." Runa blurted, not quite sure she used the correct English word but it made sense to her. She remained rooted in place, not moving to the elevator.

Megan Pendragon

Location: Merlin's Warehouse -> Camelot
Skills: N/A

Camelot. The word sent a shiver down Megan's spine. Everything so far was seemingly real and true, and if they were going to Camelot, then that meant they were going to her birthplace. Would she meet her parents within a matter of minutes? She hadn't woken up that morning thinking the gigantic question of her life, the gaping hole in her story, was about to be answered. One of the girls - the daughter of Little Red Riding Hood - suggested that they do introductions. Beyond her brother, she didn't really know anyone there either.

"I'm Megan," she introduced herself. She didn't add the names of her supposed birth parents since she felt they didn't define her identity. She glanced at her brother and raised an eyebrow, a bit curious since he hadn't introduced himself and he tended to be the more social one of the pair. She then walked on through the portal, leaving the warehouse behind as she emerged in a quiet wood. It took a moment before she realized that she actually remembered this wood. If her memory was right, there should be a road nearby...

✨ Rebecca Eventide ✨

Location: Argo III - Upper Deck -> Crew Deck -> Upper Deck
Skills: N/A

Rebecca nodded, smiling and looked quite pleased as Mary showed interest in the various eras of her undead soldiers. "Thank you, I find it quite fascinating myself. Even as we believe we are becoming more advanced as a society, time is an illusion. The warrior of today is just as effective, perhaps even less so, than the one of yesterday," she said cryptically. The soldiers who fell in battle and served for the losing side of each war were indebted to Ares, so Rebecca's pool largely came from the victors of war. They were under Hades' dominion of course, but given that her mother was the Goddess of Ghosts, she could 'borrow' those soldiers from time to time. It helped that Hecate was so close with Demeter and Persephone as well.

"I suppose it's about my turn to take watch, then. I'm hoping the skies will be clear, it would be nice to gaze up at the heavens some, perhaps see if I can divine some information about our journey... At the very least, I could purify some water with moonlight and starlight, there are so many beneficial properties to water prepared under a celestial body's influence that it's such an invaluable and key resource. I wonder if you might find the same should you sprout different plants at the witching hour?" Rebecca suggested. Her stomach grumbled and she quickly went down to the crew deck, fetching herself a plate and a goblet - pad see ew and apple cider. It was an odd combination but she adored it and her preference, absinthe, sadly wouldn't have been possible.

She took her plate and goblet, along with a pair of chopsticks, and retreated back up to the upper deck and got ready for watch duty. She sat down, balancing the plate on her knees and the goblet was off to the side. "What is everyone's star sign?" she asked. "I was born under Taurus, the bull."

Leda grinned, realizing that the shift schedule meant that she could spend more time with Kiera. She happily went down to the crew deck and grabbed herself a plate and a cup, sitting down next to the ginger. "Oi Mary, come join us!" Leda invited. Her cup filled itself with her favorite drink - grape Koolaid + Sprite. It was like a grape fanta but even better. Fish and chips appeared then on her plate, one of her favorite meals from back home, something that she really missed. No one in America could make them properly. She picked up one of the chips and bit into it, enjoying the soft texture of the potato.

"If you call these fries, I'll have to throw you overboard," Leia warned Kiera, as she bit into another chip. "It would be considered a hate crime against my people." She smirked a bit, before tearing into one of the bits of fried fish and enjoying how delicious it tasted. She was convinced that the plate had to have come from a local place in Bristol or something, it was that heavenly. They had a while until it would be their turn to take watch and Leda knew that practically, they'd probably want to get some shut eye beforehand.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

When they got to the Senate House and Madalyne pulled the bell to signal a meeting, Nancy stretched her arms out. "How much do you want to bet this meeting will somehow take an entire hour?" she asked Madalyne and Niah. If she could drastically reduce the number of meetings required for the Senate, she would have considered it her finest achievement in her time as praetor. She perked up a bit at Niah's mentioning of all the things that could happen on the adventure, her expression only souring when Niah mentioned the death of friends. The slaying monsters was amazing and fun. Losing one of her best friends... Nancy couldn't fathom that sort of pain.

Hopefully the Senate largely would be present soon. She didn't want to have to wait around forever just for people to show up. They needed to get this small trip approved, set out to check up on Atlas, and return in time for the Greeks to show up and ruin everything. And assuming they were still alive after that, their next stop would be the Underworld - well, actually, they'd go there next even if they died so she supposed that was a bit of a moot point. "I'd tell you to lighten up Niah, but you're right. We might die. And we're definitely headed to the Underworld before the week is out."
