Even companies like Netflix are against the removal of net neutrality. Why did it get voted out? Political bullshit. They know what would have happened if they put it to a public vote.

Two older guys are sitting in Starbucks next to me, loudly insulting their frugal friend for his small TV and the fact that he doesn't eat take out. People are stupid.

The figure that had just stepped into the guild was a familiar sight for it's members, but to those who had never met her before, she could be rather intense. She was a nearly six foot tall, distinctly Half-Elf woman with a fierce, crimson gaze and scarred face. Her long, bright red hair was tied back in a relatively neat pony tail. Her dress was simple and she wore very little in the way of armor, but it was easy to tell that this woman was a warrior. Every ounce of her was made up of pure, well defined, muscle. The greatsword, which was nearly as tall as she was, strapped to her back said that the muscle wasn't just for show.

Yuella Whitewing, known only as Yuel, had been a member of the Iron Rose for eight years. Despite her intense appearance, she was known to a good friend and loyal ally. If you could get past her oddities. If not for her lack of intellect, or the fact that she tended to scare away new recruits, she may have been a B-rank by now. But instead had been stuck as a C-rank for nearly six years. It didn't seem to the bother the crimson haired woman though, very little did.

"Hey, Sexy! Which one do you need me for?" Yuel's loud voice carried through the guild, up to where Maya and the B-ranks were gathered. The warrior had walked in just in time to hear about the three, urgent missions.

Sexy was a nickname she had given to Maya one night a couple years ago when she had been extremely drunk. Despite not remembering most of the night, Yuel remembered that particular fact and it just sort of stuck. It was an especially odd choice of name, considering Yuel did not swing that way. The crimson haired warrior moved up to where they were standing. "You know I'm not picky, send me wherever I need to go. Me and Fluffy will get the job done."
@Emeraldlane I have a lot of experience RPing, if you want any help I'd be happy to give it to you.
@Double I have an idea of who the Masked Man is. If it's a certain character from Ashe's past, then your a genius. If not, you're still a genius.
I'm still here. Waiting for this epic story to continue.
@Tominas I have a feeling that Yuel and Korgath would get along very well.
Ashe's lips curled into a pout when the old man proceeded to ignore her for some stupid girl who was trying to mimic the dancing that the silly grown ups had done. While it bothered her now, it soon wouldn't. She would forever be the quiet girl in the background, more interested in books than the company of others. The one that was never heard when she did try to speak up. It hurt now, but she would soon get used to it. She would enjoy the fact that she could go around unnoticed for the most part.

There was one who never failed to notice her. Emma, the girl who's hand she had held. They had become friends quickly and as they grew up they only got closer. Emma was a Fire Mage, a hard worker even if she lacked talent. There was an accident in training, one person was injured though not severely, another was killed, Emma. The next day, Ashe had shown up at training with a tattoo, a dragon wrapping around her forearm. The dragon was a creature that represented fire, it was a dedication to the friend she had just lost.

Ashe was always skilled at the manipulation of her element. Wind would swirl around her fingertips with just the slightest movement. She was so intuned with the wind that she could manage some semblance of flight without the special kites or suits. She could only get a few feet off the ground and moved rather slowly, but it was more than most could manage. Her favorite techinque was creating spheres of concentrated, controlled, air. Small ones could be used to attack, but she could also create them large enough for her to ride. If she kept focus on a single small sphere, she could move it around freely without having to touch it, rather than just throwing it and hoping it hit something.

Graduation day for Ashe was bittersweet. She stood by four others who had all proven that they were skilled in their element. But the Fire Mage was not the one that she wanted to stand by. The fingers on her right hand lightly brushed the head of the tattoo and she only partially listened to Sensei Toma's speech. She accepted her seal with the group and bowed when it was time. Then they were all excused, for a short while at least. Their first binding ceremony was only a short time away.

Ashe had no intentions of celebrating with the others. Their training may have been done, but none of them had actually done anything yet. What was the point of celebrating? Instead, after they were excused, she slipped away from the group seemingly unnoticed and disappeared among the trees. She only went a short distance away, to her favorite spot. While some trees held bindings on them, others did not. Her favorite spot was a tree that did not yet have bindings. It was a perfect tree, with branches that created a perfect place to sit. The Air Mage climbed with the tree with practiced ease, settling into the spot that had seemingly been made for her. Out of her bag she pulled the book that she was currently reading, and quickly lost herself among it's pages.
It looked like Katherine was agreeing to follow. That was good, at least she didn't have to waste time explaining things now. Emara could tell her how she found out when they were all safe. For the moment she needed to focus on how she was getting Katherine out of here. She was pretty sure Katherine couldn't take the thieves' route. There wasn't much cover in these halls otherwise. If they were spotted, it was going to be a fight. Emara really hoped it didn't come to that.

Emara's well trained ears picked up the sound of the door behind her opening. Immediately she turned around, putting herself between the pretty lady and the door. She slid her dagger soundlessly out of it's well oiled sheath. Though her eyes couldn't really be seen because of the hood, she narrowed them anyway. His words were hollow, there was no way that he was with them. The commoner boy, Felix, hadn't mentioned any other allies. This man wasn't with them, he was going to kill them. Well, at least Emara.

The thief started assessing the threat, scanning him for any visible weaknesses or gaps in his armor. It was something she had become very good at, she had to be. She fought fully armored men with daggers, any edge she could get was helpful. The weakness was easy to find, the man only had one arm. But not in the way that most people would think. She had known people missing arms growing up with a group of bandits. When they sparred the other men under her father, they grew used to people attacking their weak side. They got very good at defending it. This man would find himself very surprised when the small, dagger wielding, intruder went for his good side.
@Conscripts I could yeah, but as old fashion as it sounds, I don't like social media or chat websites like Discord. Especially the kind like Titanpad and all those other pads where people can see you type.
Here and ready to go! Also, I don't have Discord, so I won't really be joining you guys there.
