Appearance: He is a light-skinned male, who has short spiky black hair with bangs that are brushed to the right, and dark eyes. He also has a lean yet muscular body, with a large scar that runs diagonally from the center of his abdomen to his right thigh, as well as numerous small ones all over his body. He has a tribal tattoo across his upper back, extending to both shoulders much like his partner.

His usual attire consists of a black blazer, worn unbuttoned above a grey shirt, and black trousers with a brown belt around his waist. His footwear is a pair of black boots which go underneath his trousers, and he's always seen wearing his tag around his neck.

Personality:

Nonpareil is mostly quiet and aloof even to people he likes. He occasionally speaks out of irritation or when someone isn't able to understand sign language, but mostly keeps to himself as to save himself the trouble of accommodating those who can't communicate with him. Though frequently irritable, he's also capable of small acts of kindness, such as playing with Shanon or steadying Alex when she's shaking too much to open her medication. He seems to find slight enjoyment in picking on people; somewhat illustrating his dark and sarcastic sense of humor.

Above all, however, he seems to be the most alive on the battlefield, he often is seen smiling while in combat; hinting a sadistic side which compliments his thrill for blood. Moreover, he tends to toy with opponents that are weaker than himself before finishing them off remorselessly.

Despite his apparent sociopathic tendencies, Nonpareil isn't without a heart. He's been shown to care for those close to him; Fate and Veronica being prime examples. Furthering his somewhat complicated personality, he doesn't seem to be the type to hold grudges against others, as he accepted Doug as a friend despite their brutal fight only days prior.

Abilities: 

Amped Ki traction: With Amped Ki Traction, Nonpareil can move at virtually any speed without losing his footing, Ki continually concentrated in his feet allowing him to stick to the ground when he needs to, and at the same time killing any excess kinetic energy that would damage the terrain and obstruct his motion. The power of Ki Traction depends on how fast he currently is.

Energy Manipulation: User can create, shape and manipulate energy, one of the basic quantitative properties describing a physical system or object's state. It can be transformed (converted) among a number of forms that may each manifest and be measurable in differing ways.

Locks: Nonpareil's powell is controlled by locks, he has five different locks. Each lock released allows him to power up from his current state.

Lock 1: Nonpareil's speed triples (300 mph) from his basic speed (100 mph), strength doubles, crimson energies start to become visible. Translucent wisps of that energy floating around his physical structure. 

Lock 2: Nonpareil's base speed becomes 750mph, his strength doubles further, crimson energy solidifies, wisps leave a trail during his movements.

Lock 3: Nonpareil's power nears its peak, his speed upping once more (1,450 mph), crimson energy lets off electricity, Nonpareil starts becoming an Absolute being of (conflict).

Lock 4: Nonpareil's power reaches its peak, his basic movements reaching  1,900 mph, crimson energy becomes cataclysmal (Only around his embodiment several inches).

Lock 5: Nonpareil reaches his Absolute form, speed attaining Mach 3 speeds (2,301.81 mph). Swinging power reaches ( 13342 psi). The force of his swings is equal to 600 metric tons of TNT.

Enhanced Strength: Nonpareil is inhumanly strong, despite not having the physique to support it, which usually throws his opponents off.

Enhanced Speed: Probably his most dangerous trait, as Nonpareil is very fast on foot, being able to ambush skilled fighters, without the latter noticing. His speed sometimes appears to be as if he is teleporting, disappearing and reappearing when in battle.

Expert Swordsman: Being Nonpareil's primary weapon, Nonpareil is highly proficient with his swords, being able to push back anyone who stands against him, which demonstrated how he uses his immense physical strength in conjuncture with his swords. He was also able to briefly match and then later overwhelm a fellow blade user in battle.

Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Despite using his sword more often, Nonpareil has shown that he is equally lethal with his bare hands as he is with his sword on numerous occasions, mainly due to his sword not being in his possession at the time

Mach 3 speed: Nonpareil's max speed is 2301.81mph, this speed is at the final lock. His speed scaled depending on the locks broken during the fight.

Items: 

His main weapon is a katana which he carries two of, though for underwhelming opponents at times he uses his bare hands. His blade is extremely durable (A special kind of titanium which can move up to 4,000 mph), which can break just about any weapon used against him.

Nonpareil is known to use other various items that he will carry with him such as candy, sticks, or other natural materials he finds laying around as a weapon.
 
Background:

Nonpareil is the son of West Gate Mercenary commander and an unnamed Tagged prostitute. His father killed his mother after she gave birth and took the child to add to his mercenary group to avoid the expense of simply hiring a Tagged mercenary. Nonpareil was born deaf, and between his disability and his father's control of his Celebre supply, his father kept him obedient and dependent. He endures constant abuse from his father and the rest of the mercenary group without resistance.

His assigns Nonpareil as Fate's bodyguard and the two eventually become friends, bonding over their abusive fathers. Fate teaches Nonpareil how to write and the two learn sign language together. Nonpareil is injured during a riot and his self-stitched wounds become infected, leaving him seriously ill. Fate intervenes and pays off his father, intending to help Nonpareil, but this ultimately results in Nonpareil's total abandonment by his father. Despite the fact that his father was abusive, this left Nonpareil in a state of shock, hinting his longing for parental ties normalcy.

After his recovery, Nonpareil remains as Fate's bodyguard. When Fate's father's abuse escalates to putting out a cigarette on his son's eye, Nonpareil snaps and murders Fate's family indiscriminately. Fate stops Nonpareil from killing himself afterwards, saying that he won't forgive Nonpareil and that Nonpareil has to live on to die full of painful memories as Fate's family did. The two ran away from the carnage together and start a new life on the streets with Nonpareil taking odd jobs as a mercenary. It is strongly implied that Nonpareil was involved in the attack on the Eurynomous Family at age fourteen.

Sometime Nonpareil and Fate both work for the Eurynomous Family during the first Twilight hunt protecting the main house of the Eurynomous Family. As Nonpareil protected the main door, Fate took some members to help the men fight off the attacker.

Shanon also remembers Nonpareil bleeding on the floor in her house when she was a girl, implying he was defending Shanon from the man who raped her.

Later on, the two start Benriya together and soon after met a female Twilight; Veronica, adding her to their line of business.
