Felix is one of those people who always knows what he wants, he is never indecisive about anything and many people know it. He is also very blunt about things and often won't hold back his opinions, this can kind of be a problem because more often than not he's gonna call someone out on some bullshit. While his blunt nature might make him off-putting to some Felix is a very honest guy who cares about his friends and their well-being. There is no doubt that Fleix is a lazy bastard who never wants to do his homework, his teachers and friends have no problem with telling him this fact to his face. He can be very creative, something that goes well with his field of interest and just like any boy - he can make the biggest mess you've ever seen in minutes.

It was his freshman year when it happened, Felix was in his dorm room playing a handheld video game. He was completely oblivious to everything, at least until he heard a massive bang right outside his room. Felix wondered if his roommate had returned from the frat party he was at and ignored it, if he had passed out outside the room than that was his own fault. But then it happened again, more aggressive this time though. It was so violent that the door shook, Felix now was beginning to grow concerned.

Felix left the safety of his bed and went to the bedroom door, but he didn't open it. With his hand over the knob the boy broke out into a cold sweat, he had a very bad feeling...like if he opened the door something terrible would happen. Glancing down Felix felt his heartbeat quicken, he could clearly see the shadow of someone's feet right outside his door. Not wanting to open the door but wanting to know who was outside Felix decided that he would look through the little peephole on his door.

Felix doesn't remember much after as he woke up the next morning but one thing stuck in his mind, the image of pale face with dark long hair...covered in blood. The image stuck with him so much that he began to grow paranoid and now feels like he can see the face smiling at him from the shadows.

Born and raised within Sonina, Felix had a pretty normal life to begin with. His mother and father were divorced but it wasn't such a big deal for him, he spent his weekdays with his mom and the weekends with his father. Both were very civil about the whole thing and often times they would do things as a trio. That was until his father found a bimbo of a girlfriend who did nothing but talk bad about his mother. Felix absolutely hated her and made no attempt to hide it, this upset his father and he began to see him less. It only took a few months before Felix barely got to see his dad, but at that point the man was almost unrecognizable. He was rude, abusive and did whatever his girlfriend said. Felix wanted nothing to do with him anymore.

Felix wasn't sure when it began to happen but he started to rebel against his mother, due to the way his father acted she kind of went of deep end and took to being a Jesus freak. Felix would get piercings, he dyed his natural blonde hair a deep black and getting tattoos. Eventually she got completely fed up with it all and began to try and force her religion into his life. She would sneak into his room and take his things, go through his phone when he wasn't looking. She removed his door and hid it at a friends house, took his clothes and replaced them with things she liked. It became an unbearable place to live, he tried to do as she asked - if it didn't have to do with religion. But she couldn't respect the fact that and when college came around he decided to stay on campus rather than at home.

Once he was in college he began to hear rumors about the little town he grew up in. Something about curses, people going missing, ghosts - nonsense that any smart person would dismiss. But once he looked back on things he did remember a few times where people did indeed go missing. A child snatched, a women's car abandoned with her no where in sight, a man's clothing found beside a well. All of it was a little fishy but nothing came out of it. Being the non-believer he was Felix just forgot about it all, that is until the night he experienced something he could not explain.

Sonina, Russia - A small and rural town where the people live in complete normalcy, nothing out of the ordinary seems to happen here. However just like with any small town, once you begin to take a closer look things seem not so...normal. Sonina has an odd history of disappearances, children and adults going missing without a single clue left behind. Many locals refuse to speak about them, children sing strange songs while playing and there always seems to be a thick fog lingering in the forest surrounding Sonina.

Within recent years a University was built and opened just outside of Sonina, as such more traffic has been seen within the small town due to it being the closest. It is obvious that the locals are unhappy about the newcomers, they claim that the peaceful lifestyle that they have worked so hard for will be broken. They scream and rant about how "The Shadows" will begin hunting again, that Sonina's Curse will take hold of everyone and everything.

This is the basic Idea of my roleplay - A bunch of college kids find out that there's more to Sonina than meets the eye. Whether its through some paranormal experience or encountering a seemingly unreal creature, the students begin to see things within their school and Sonina that weren't previously there. When students begin disappearing they feel compelled to try and figure out what in the world "The Curse of Sonina" really is.



1. You are not limited to playing a simple college student, you are free to play anyone who isn't a local to Sonina. This includes students from surrounding towns, students from other countries, teachers, reporters, paranormal investigators, ECT.
2. Not everyone has to be Russian, you can be literally from anywhere, this story simply takes place in Russia. Though do be aware that the residents of Sonina speak Russian and mixed English.
3. I want animated pictures, illustrations might be accepted as well depending on how they look. Be aware that pictures should make your characters personality and the time in which this roleplay takes place, which is Modern.
4. This is a mature roleplay and mature topics may be discussed. Drugs, Alcohol, Violence and other things will/may be brought up so if you are uncomfortable or hate any of these things than this roleplay may not be for you.
5. Every character will have a paranormal encounter with a ghost/entity while at the University, depending on what they encounter will determine how they will begin to see the world around them. A more severe experience will cause someone to see ghosts hiding in the shadows, dark creatures lurking in the tree's and so forth. I will allow everyone to choose what kind of experience they have, though not everyone can realistically have bad encounters.
6. I want an array of characters, male and female, some edgy and some not, preps, nerds, bookworms, teachers pets, jocks, frat boys. Be creative! Why did they choose this University? If they are abroad than why?

"In my experience, when people try to help it's because they have something they want in exchange. That's always how it goes, right?" He asked, clutching the empty glass in his hand. He stared at it, looking at the warped scenery on the other side. He knew that he was just rambling but it felt good, it wasn't often that he got to rant and rave about all the negative things he thought was wrong world. Though he couldn't deny that it probably didn't make for fun conversation. He let out a heavy sigh, letting go of his cup and leaning back a bit. "Man, I'm just a party pooper aren't I?" He looked over to his female companion. "You know you can just slap me on the back and tell me to shut up. I swear I don't hit back."

Tao left out a small laugh, it felt good to let loose. He was always so on edge. Being at home meant he had to make sure neither of his delinquent siblings destroyed the house, if he wasn't at home then he was out working, nervous that he could get caught at any moment. While he claimed he was good at what he did and promised himself that he was too good to get caught, it didn't make him feel any better. Tao pushed the empty glass he'd been staring at back towards the drink guy, he knew that he was at his limit or he'd feel sick. He really was not good at holding his alcohol.

"I think I'm done for the night. I will say, it was pretty fun." He gave a genuine smile, he knew he wouldn't be doing something like this again for a while so might as well get it out while he could.

Helios was trained from a young age in many form of combat, his best being Jujitsu. He was also trained to use various weapons ranging from obvious things like swords all the way to common household items such as kitchen forks. He was also taught to act charming and 'cute' in order to get in good with women and to act repectable when around men. He is extremely loyal to his kingdom, more specifically his adoptive father Michael Alvarez. He is also quite good at cooking, many people are surprised at the different dishes he is able to cook.

While Helios may be good at fighting and trained on how to speak to people, he is unable to understand the emotions and thoughts of people. Due to his training and the way he was raised emotions were deemed 'unnecessary' now that he is older he is struggling with his own emotions. He is loyal and sometimes it's a bad thing, Helios will do anything that his adoptive father commands him to do - almost like a dog. There are times that he can say things that come off as rude or too blunt, many think this is cute but he just doesn't know that some things shouldn't be said.

Helios is quite a tall man, standing at almost 6 feet tall. He normally will wear his hair down and in an almost messy way. When he is on a job or following a target he will tie that long hair back. He normal attire consists of a very simple black outfit, unlike some of his people who feel comfortable wearing next to nothing, Helios likes to keep himself covered. If he is on a job he wares a very form-fitting top with lose pants. He has very pale skin, he's been told on more than one occasion that he looks like a doll.

Helios was born to a poor woman who's husband was killed in battle. The woman tried her best to keep her son healthy by due to their poor status and unhealthy living conditions Helios got very sick. On one fateful day some high and mighty official walked by him and his mother while they were at a market and noticed how sick Helios was. He offered his mother a deal - He would take the sick child and free her of a burden. His mother accepted the deal thinking she could give her son a better life.

Helios was adopted into the Alvarez family, one of the six men who helped oversee the Vegetable kingdom. However Helios was never presented to the world, he was kept hidden. The real reason Micheal Alvarez wanted Helios was to train himself a spy and assassin to do his dirty work. He thought a sick kid that was a nobody would be the perfect candidate. Once Helios was cured of his illness he immediately began training. There were several forms of martial arts, learning how to use poisons, how to use various weapons among many other things.

He trained from a young age until Micheal thought he was ready, the opportunity came when an offer from the Empire of 花木 came in for a get together, a masquerade. He presented Helios as a bodyguard for whoever decided to attend the masquerade, though with an underlying message. Assassinate the Emperor.

"Drama Llama, huh?" The dark-haired girl echoed with a small smile, she had no doubt in her mind that Victoria would have her hands full with Ryan. She could only imagine what kind of shenanigans the boy would get her friend messed up in. Manami clutched her purse as she listened to Victoria speak, "A blizzard and a power outage, that sounds like something out of one of those steamy romance novels my mother reads." She joked with a little laugh. "But yea, I'll text you soon and we can plan a fun day together." She said, giving a little wave before leaving the tiny Ramen hut. She looked around for a moment and debated on how she should get home. In the end she landed on a cab and hailed one down, slipping into the car and giving him directions on where to take her.

It only took about 30 minutes for her to get home and the moment she walked through the door and slammed it shut she slipped the shoes of her feet. A sigh slipped past her lips in relief, it felt heavenly to finally get those things off. Manami went into her bathroom and began to prepare for her make-up removal routine. Using a cleanser to get the make-up off, using a scrub to get excess uckyess off, using a toner to make things nice and even and then finishing with a high-grade moisturizer to make sure her skin didn't get dry and flaky. While it may sound like a lot of work the whole process only took her about 15 minutes.

Once she was finished next came the complicated outfit, it was off in a flash and the girl was in a pair of comfy pajama pants and a tank-top. She flopped onto her bed and laid there for a moment, going over everything in her head. Quite a bit happened, much more than she had been expecting. As she laid there her eyes silently went over her room and noticed something that was pretty confusing. She saw that a picture that was usually sitting on her nightstand wasn't there. Had she knocked it over while getting ready or something?

@shylarah - I don't want to say no, but I wont lie - I feel really iffy about it. It's nothing against your art, you can draw better than I can, but it's more that I have a certain aesthetic in mind when I think about my roleplay and the pictures within it. I'm really not picky about a lot but the one thing I am are pictures. I'm sorry if this puts you off :c

But I like to see reference photos of a character, so know how they would look. I don't think a simple description does what a character would look like justice. There are so many pictures out there, I myself have probably hundreds stored away in case I need them.
