Raymond just smirked at Renards reply, grabbing a grape and popping it into his mouth before turning back to Freya. ”Yeah, I know you guys will be alright. At least nobody died or suffered any career ending injuries. Raymond’s eyes returned to his book as it was clear that neither of them wanted to go into detail whatsoever. Once Renard came back the question of where he was at that Friday sprang up. Why he was absent was personal topic but he didn’t mind sharing.

”I was paying my respects to my Grandfather, he died two years ago and the date of his death fell upon the same day you guys were attacked by villains. If I knew that you guys were going to get into some trouble then I definitely would have been present protect everyone, that’s what my grandfather would have wanted after all.” Raymond returned to his book as he was slightly agitated, of course there was no way he could’ve known what was going to transpire that day but knowing that still didn’t lessen the pain a bit. ”I hope those injuries you got weren’t for naught Renard, I’m the only one allowed to beat you silly.” he smirked as he flipped a page in his book.

There was a short moment of silence before Ray spoke up once more, “Looks like we’ve got our work cut out for us” he was trying to cheer them up but it didn’t seem to be doing any justice. Perhaps it was time to use the ace up his sleeve.

”Do either of you guys have a thing for sweets by any chance? My Grandmother owns a bakery not too too far from here. I’ll treat you guys after school if you’d like?”

Raymond broke focus from his studying as Freya gave him a strained greeting, he winced a bit as he could clearly see it was pretty painful for the girl to act cheery right now.

”Don’t hurt yourself trying to put on a mask” he replied softly with an inviting smile. Raymond then turned to Renard and winced a bit upon seeing him trailing behind Freya. ”Those villains got you good huh jumper cables?” he said jokingly as he popped a piece of cantoloupe into his mouth. The guy looked a complete wreck as he was bandaged up all over, the most pitiful thing to see though was his demeanor above all. It seemed as though he had barely any fight in him at the moment.

”You guys want to take a seat an explain to me what exactly happened that day?” he said gesturing towards two empty seats placed in front of him.

What a Monday it was, everyone was pretty down in the dumps making it hard to focus during class as there was barely any life in the students. It was clear as day to see that the villain attack dealt a serious blow to the class's moral, incorporate the stormy rainy weather and it just made the day even more dreary as sky was devoid of all positivity. Raymond mind was now in the gutter as he began to ponder what might've happened if he had showed up to school that day, guilt was beginning to chip away at him slowly. Yes, he was indeed absent that day but it wasn't for naught.

Physical training had been canceled for the afternoon as Mr.Hayes had to attend to a meeting, this meant the students were allotted free time to train or study. A rare occurrence as Specter was held somewhat of a reputation with his attendance. Raymond best used this time to grab a bite and knock out some homework in the lunchroom, some space from everyone else was probably exactly what he needed. Raymond wasted no time with the opportunity gifted to him, having the opportunity to do his homework in school freed up his afternoon pretty nicely. The boy grabbed a large bottle of water as well as a medium sized assortment of fruits from the lunch line before plopping himself in the corner of the lunchroom.

Damian smirked once time was called, completely confident in his ability to pass the written test. In all honesty it would've been a shame if he failed somehow, considering his brother was a hero of notable reputation.

They were given a few minutes to prepare before the true test began.

Biron waved to his friend with a nervous smile, "Dame! How do you think you did."

"Well, I passed of course." He said wiping his nose, there was a cheeky grin on Damians face too, one that immediately gained a reaction out of Biron.

"A little cocky aren't we?" the boy said giving his friend a quirk empowered slap on the back.

Marius on the other hand was having a nervous breakdown in the corner as he prepared himself for what was next, I did well...at least I think so...what if I made a careless mistake! the boy then placed his hands on his head. "Dear God, help me."

Houdini

Houdini began clapped his hands rather loudly in order to gather everyone's attention

"Alright, we are about to begin the physical portion of the Sekai Academy entrance Exam. Please pay attention and follow me."

The pro walked through two double doors and into a dimly lit room made to accommodate a large amount of people. "Please everyone wait in here." Once all the students had filed into the room Houdini let out a smirk.

"Good luck"

In bright flash, the pro hero was gone. The room began to rumble violently making a few students shudder a bit, it took a bit of time for the test takers to register that they were actually moving. They weren't inside a room but a large elevator to be exact. A large intercom cut on soon enough to give them the countdown until do or die time.

The Sekai Academy Entrance exam will begin in T-minus 5 seconds, prepare yourselves. 5....4....3....2...

1...Begin!

Once the voice on the intercom hit 2, the ceiling opened up and sunlight began to flood the room as the test takers reached their stop. The group of kids would soon find themselves in the middle of a mountain forest, once they were given the go ahead. The forest began to erupt with life as tremors and voices alike began to sprout from all directions. Some calling for help while others destroyed the surrounding area as trees could be seen being toppled in the distance. It was utter chaos as students scrambled in all directions with no cohesive plan at hand.

Houdini had disappeared off towards the observation room where he meet up with his other colleagues and survey the test takers.

"Probably my favorite part of the test, seeing who makes the cut."

He often wears rather plain clothing that doesn't attract much attention such as a plain t shirts with outerwear or a coat outside of his school uniform.

Quirk Description - From his limbs, Raymond is able to generate solid crystals from his body which can be used for a multitude of tasks. Defensively he is capable of lining his erecting a solid crystal wall from the ground while on the offensive end he can send out close to medium range attacks.(maximum range 30 feet). His Quirk is also a valuable utility wise as he is able to line his body with a protective layer sharp crystals both shielding him as well as boosting his physical attacks.

Raymond's precision with his quirk needs work as the crystal structures he produce are large and rather uneven which can backfire as this often leading him to a quickly reaching the upper limits of his quirk if he is not careful. This can make working with others a pain because he can't fight at full power as he has to be careful not to harm/inconvenience others with his quirk. His crystals are also sensitive to temperature, forming slower the lower the temperature. Over usage of his quirk takes toll on his movement as his bones and joints inflammation as well a stiffness sweeps over his body, on top of this his crystal structures began to lose out in their power and become brittle.

"I've never been more sure about anything else in my life." The boy said, blatantly cutting slinging his duffel bag over his shoulder. "It's not like you to be worried about me" He said with a smirk on his face.

"Well... you and I've been a team for as long as I can remember, Roxanne and Raymond..." the girls gaze fell began to fall to the floor. "Pebbles and Bam Bam...causing mischief in the neighborhood. The Crystal Kids." her voice lowering as it continued.

"All those times we got scolded and punished, I think we gave mom a couple of extra gray hairs. Which is pretty bad considering she is only 36. "That was in the past sis, i'm way too old to be going around causing trouble." He smiled as he walked over and placed his hand on Roxanne's shoulder,"I'm going to be staying with Grandma in San Francisco so there is nothing to worry about, she doesn't play around. School on the weekdays and I am going to helping her with the bakery on the weekends to make some pocket money so i'll definitely be occupied and out of trouble."

Roxanne simply folded her arms and pouted, "Well you better send updates on how you're doing, and don't think that I won't take the first flight over there to set some girl straight." She said taking his hand off her should and playfully throwing a jab at his arm. "Its good though that you are heading over to Grandma's, ever since Grandpa died 5 years back she's been alone in that house of hers. She'll be more than occupied dealing with a pain in the ass like you." A sly grin on her face, she always made comments like these thinking they were so hilarious. "Likewise, but I highly doubt any boys would even try anything stupid with you. Unless they want a death wish." Raymond began to slip on his boots, signaling that he was ready to head to the airport for his flight.

"The cab is most likely here by now to take me to the JFK airport, could you help me bring my bags downstairs?"

She stood there stunned staring at him for a bit, reminiscing on all the years they've spent together. Raymond has always been there for her for as long as she could remember, Bullies, giving advice, supporting her in school, you name it. To see him go was so bittersweet,"Yeah...sure" her eyes were growing misty at the thought but without hesitation she wiped her eyes dry.

Quirk Description: Hasashi is capable of emitting and manipulating black mist from his body. From this mist he is able to spawn a multitude of life like creatures as well as even rejuvenate existing mist creatures.

This quirk isn’t without its own flaws as he is limited to the amount of mist that he has available and the creatures he creates require a bit of stamina to make meaning he can’t just make creatures all day long. Considering that he also has a quirk with similar properties to smoke, it is only natural that Hashashi struggles against wind quirks and quirks capable of producing a strong breeze.

Being apart of the Yashiro blood line, Hasashi’s quirk works seamlessly alongside the quirks of his siblings allowing for incredible synergy.

Blood dripped from Hasashi's sword, dealing with the targets bodyguards was light work. He just wished that when they ran they at least made it interesting for him. The long haired man whistled under his mask and before his eyes a pack containing of 8 wolves formed under the moonlight. “Dispose of the bodies” the man said waving off half of he pack before running off to the engage his target.

“Shit, shit, shit, he made such light work out of my bodyguards, just who is he?” The man well dressed man spat under his breath as he turned a corner into an alleyway. He scrambled to jump over a gated fence due to his slacks getting punctures by the gate. One of the wolves had caught up to the target and howled, alerting Hasashi and the rest of the pack. In panic the man ripped his pants in order to free himself but it was too late. Hasashi has blocked one exit and the wolves blocked the way he came.

“You know I really hate chasing after people” the masked man said slowly approaching his prey. “Wait, please! I’ll pay you double n-no triple the amount of your employ-hhgh” with no hesitation Hasashi rammed the hilt of his blade into the targets throat crushing the man’s windpipe and sending him flying to the ground. “Did I ask you to speak?” the masked man replied, “You should’ve thought about who exactly you were messing with when you decided to impede on our territory.” Hasashi raised his sword before severing the man’s head, “Target neutralized” Hasashi knelt down and picked up the man’s head before placing it into a bag.

“We’re finished here, dispose of all evidence.” With that being said the wolves moved onto the cleanup the mess that had been left over, making sure there was no trace.

“Master Hasashi, your father has summoned you”

The young man stood in his family courtyard motionless as he let the rain walk across his skin and hair.

“I’ll be there in a moment” his gaze was fixated on the sky, blade in one hand and a cracked mask in the other. “Rakasha you fool.” He said sheathing his sword and handing the mask to his servant before meeting his father.

Upon entry to his father's quarters the man knelt before him with great poise before speaking. “How may I serve you sensei?”

The man had been pouring himself a cup of tea before his son had came in. The man turned to his pupil, his face obscured by shadows albeit his eyes. “Hasashi, the loss of Rakasha has put us in quite the predicament. Not only did you both fail but you also managed to set us back in our plans. Despite being on a time limit, Rakasha was an invaluable piece, it is a shame we didn't get more usage out of him” The man said before going into a coughing frenzy in which during this time Hasashi kept silent. "I have your next assignment, you're going to be heading over to the United States, California to be exact. Prepare to move out within an hour."

At first the check ins was rough but once a routine was in place it began to flow very smoothly, you would think that with one line it would be inefficient but this wasn't Houdini's first rodeo. As each student walked up to the pro hero, he greeted them with a smile and asked for their identification papers, upon checking in each student was given a badge with a number on it making it easy to identify each other.

The white haired man closed his brief case once the last student was checked in and let out a excited sigh, [color=f7976a]"Alright! Now that everyone is checked in we shall now begin part 1 of the Sekai Academy entrance exams! As you all know the test is broken up into a written and physical portion! Now, If you all would please follow me!" The man said leading them towards one a shack that at first glance would raise questions as to whether or not the students were at the right place, Houdini then rolled up his sleeve and pressed a button causing the shack to rise up from the ground revealing the entrance to a hidden doorway underneath the shack. "We are heading towards the testing hall, please stay with the group and don't get lost. We wouldn't want any delays now would we?" the pro said with a smirk.

After a short walk the testing group entered a large state of the art auditorium, "Please take your seats, make sure to fill up the front the seats from front to back." Once everyone had been Houdini pulled out another card from his pocket, this being a 2 of diamonds. "Please turn off your cellular devices and take out a #2 pencil, I will begin passing out the written portion of the Sekai Academy hero entrance exam. A hero in this day in age must be as smart as he is strong and be well versed in present day quirk ethics which is why there is a written portion. At Sekai Academy if you are caught cheating you will receive an automatic 0 so please refrain from cheating, you have 1 hour and 45 minutes to finish. When you receive your test paper you may begin" After giving instructions, Houdini flung the card into the crowd in which the card began to glow brightly before exploding into a multitude of papers that neatly floated their way onto each and every students desk.

"Time starts....now!"

1 hour and 45 minutes later
"Time!"

The man said as he pulled out another 2 of diamonds and held it high in the air in which the card began to glow, like a vacuum all the test papers were pulled towards the card seamlessly, disappearing into the pocket space never to be seen by the students again. "We will now prepare for the physical portion of the exam, please pay attention as I recite the instructions. The man said before a backdrop began to roll down at the front of the auditorium.

"We will be conducting a mock battle inside of a forested setting and your performance will be graded through a point system, it may sound strange to you but a pro must always be prepared despite the area. Inside the test site you will be met with resistance from 'villains' who are robots as well as be required to save 'civilians' which are also robots as a hero. You will receive points depending on how many villains you take down or how many civilians you save giving the opportunity for those who are offensive oriented to shine as well as those who specialize in Utility! Use your quirk to try and earn as much points as you can, using your quirk to attack other students will result in heavy penalties, you have been warned. We will give you guys a 20 minute break to stretch and prepare before starting!"
