Naja nodded as she was addressed by Eve. She also acknowledged that numbers did, in fact, mean something, but it just meant you had to be smart about it. ‘… If they control this much of the city then they’ve got the money to hire strong fighters. If they aren’t challenges themselves, they’ll bring some as soon as we start tearing them apart,’ Naja stated as she stood up, her back straight as she turned to look at the rest.

‘Well met, Kiyoshi,’ Naja told the blade-wielder, idly wondering if he had methods to avoid killing. It was a problem Naja’d have to struggle with herself, on their own her blows had more than enough strength to end lives, but for a weapon-wielder? Then, there was Light… who wasn’t human. Naja blinked at her a bit in surprise at this revelation, though didn’t make any sounds. After having processed her a bit, she came to the conclusion that was entirely fine. ‘It’s nice to meet you, Light,’ she replied. Then… the other woman. Llexe. A single word. It’d do. Actually, Naja respected the woman’s efficiency. If talking wasn’t her strong point, then getting it over with without a fuzz was admirable. ‘Llexe,’ Naja said, simply to affirmate that she had heard and approved. Then she prepared to speak herself.

‘I am Naja, tireuse of savate and practitioner of baji quan, as well as wielder of mechanized strength. I’m skilled and strong, no need to look out for me unless our enemies are on the same level. If any of you are interested in sparring to get to know each other better, then I’m willing to try you out when we have free time. … We’ll get by alright,’ she told the last specifically as Light bounced by, somewhat unimpressed by her attitude but it was overall harmless. She got a handshake from a metal hand, no problem. A small instinct to perform the natural Swiss greeting went through Naja’s mind, though she suppressed it. It wasn’t a thing in the states, after all. Maybe if they got to know each other better. Maybe.
Naja, dressed in a white tank-top and simple black shorts, was walking into the building with her mechanical augmentations visible for all to see. She didn’t look much at her fellow fighters, she didn’t have much reason to as of yet. The bottom of her mechanic legs still wore shoes, so she didn’t make more sound than regular as she walked. For a team of fighters all across the world, only one of them really looked as she had expected them to, which was the giant among them. However, Naja knew not to underestimate the amount of weird that could amount to power in this world. After all, she thought as she flexed her metallic fingers, she was one of the weird ones. Could it actually be that the weird outpowered the classic look? … Naja would be very disappointed if so.

So this was Eve Roulette. Indeed, knowing her age Naja found herself remarkably impressed by the woman’s appearance, instantly earning some level of respect from the cyborg. Very well. Naja sat down in one of the couches, put one leg over the other and placed her hands together, listening to the woman. She had expected the nature of their mission, ever since she’d heard she’d be heading for New Carona. 5000$... While a lot to a citizen, it wasn’t much compared to the cost of the metal limbs which Naja fought with. Add that to the money she regularly earned through missions and how big her “allowance” from her father was, and it was pocket money. Still, it proved the point. There was more where that came from, and Naja had reasons beyond money to fight.

Heh. No caring about paying for tables, apparently. … Huh. Big guy was clapping at the table being kicked apart. Or perhaps he was clapping because of her determination to clean up the city. In any case. Naja heard the plea, and intended to answer it. She just let a few others answer first.

‘I stand with you. Just let me know, who are the stronger known foes we’ll have to deal with? Are we just talking numbers, or will they be a real challenge?’ Naja leaned forward, placing her legs back straight as she did. Because she was indeed curious, who was there out there that could challenge them? What information could Eve give them? … Of course, Eve may have been getting there eventually, but Naja wanted to ask, anyway.

Mayra flew in through the smoke, flipping through and landing so that her legs bent her down into a squat, her tail slamming into the ground around her carried by the force of her jump. Then she looked ahead, and…

‘Eh?’ Mayra came to a complete stop when she arrived through the smoke, seeing Tonya and Alex and Lucifer and the blob and whatever else. None of which she actually knew. So, they were definitely firing upon one another, and there was fire and monsters and… This strangely skimpily dressed woman who asked her to state her business.

‘My business? Er, I kinda don’t have a business. I mean, I do, but it’s not my business, I do work for others occasionally, but mostly I do what I want, but that’s just free time, not business~!’ Mayra laughed a bit. ‘That aside! I’m Mayra McCullough, and I’m here to fight! I thought there’d be more. Huh. Anyway! Who should I fight!? The guy, the girl, you, all of you!? I honestly can’t tell! Hahaha!’ The scaly monster-girl smiled eagerly, standing up with the yellow patterns and her hair heating up, fire sparkling off her as she prepared to do battle looking at the confrontation between Tonya and Alex, her legs gathering power to potentially launch.

She wasn’t throwing her fire or launching just yet. She hadn’t decided on her target yet.

@Joshua Tamashii Special note on your area, AFTER you read the main post. The thing that is going on right now is using Amelia's memories. That is to say, if there's something I write that you find extremely incorrect, you may correct me. Still. This is what it'd do, so.
@Gardevoiran

‘Hm. That’d be that way,’ Earl pointed in a direction. ‘You’re going to run into the path to the Silent Shrine first. From there, you can either go off the road into North Silent Forest, or head east to Highhill Town. Route 3 is either east of North Silent Forest or north of Highhill Town, you’ll need to at least step inside one or the other before reaching the route,’ Earl simply stated.

Then there was Vivia. Celebrity used Pound! … “Lightly”!

'AH!' Vivia flinched and accidentally kicked the sleeping Venonat beside her, flinching and rolling to get back onto her feet while one hand went to the place she had been pounded. 'I’m awake! I’m awake! I’m- huh,' she said, as she started looking around herself in confusion. 'Oh, right, I was…' Vivia reasoned as she remembered what she had been doing… and then frowned at Celebrity. 'You put me asleep! Don’t do that! I like being awake, okay!?' she mildly scolded, before looking up to Skylar. 'I’m sorry! What did I miss!?' she asked in a panic, looking around, seeing Skylar and Earl. 'Oh, this is…'

‘… I’m Earl,’ Earl simply stated.

'Huh. Vivia. Pleased to meet you,' Vivia stated, looking around for wherever he might have come from, having been preoccupied with Celebrity earlier but seeing the building again she was starting to remember.

‘Venonat…’ Venonat complained, getting up beside her as well. Eventually, a giggling Rotom that had just startled a Tropius into dropping into the spring and a mildly upset Scraggy trying to keep eyes on Rotom also came over.

So, what’d Skylar do?

Connected areas:
Route 1. To the south.
Route 3. If you head north-east for a while.
Silent Shrine. Go north, you should be able to find the road there.

Eevee Sand-Attacked, and Extraordinary Leered, and Grolithe Embered. It had much of the intended effect, the Blitzles’ Defense was lowered, they scattered lightly, Ember scared them and parted the way. The way was opened to the Shiny Blitzle, and Eevee was going to commit to a Tackle… when he was hit by a sudden Quick Attack from a Blitzle straight on. In fact… the whole herd knows Quick Attack, Blitzle IS BORN with Quick Attack! Suddenly, the herd confident in its abilities, numerous (6 in total) Blitzle’s came charging forward at blinding speed, hitting Eevee and Growlithe for heavy damage when all the Blitzles came at once. The ones that targeted Extraordinary obviously flew straight past, but one of them was charging electricity, preparing to unleash Shock Wave. … Except, of course, Shock Wave immediately went to one of its companions, Lightning Rod preventing them from actually targeting Extraordinary with any electricity.

Level-range in the herd of Blitzles, 6-12.

Thing is, one of the Blitzle’s that had charged in towards Growlithe was the Shiny Blitzle, who had Quick Attacked alongside its companions.

So, Eevee and Growlithe are both about to faint from taking on superior numbers, though the Blitzles are unable to actually do anything about Extraordinary, ironically due to their own ability. Thing is, unable to target the Pokémon, at least one of them looks towards Erza himself.

Does this change his strategy?

To Joshua on the outside, having his Pokémon battle the hordes of Ghost-Pokémon summoned to break out of the Tomb… it suddenly happened that all the ghosts stopped. The Goletts froze in their advance, Honedges suddenly pulling back and Bronzors stopping in mid-air, a sudden air of truce hanging over the halls. It seemed like something had happened, something that made all the advancing forces stop. The fighting completely stopped, Joshua’s Pokémon and the ghosts stopping and staring at one another.

… There was something on the skies to the north. Was something approaching…? … It was numerous…

Aegislash stopped short and the young man’s smile dropped as Amelia spoke. It clearly wasn’t what he was expecting. They were silent as she explained their similarities. A small snort came as she said she wanted to be their friend and the people above probably didn’t know his plight. A silence hang in their end of the room as Amelia asked them to call off the attack until the negotiations were done, and then Amelia’s words to Greninja. The young man raised his chin while Aegislash floated eerily and glared at her before she turned to face him again.

‘Aeegislaash,’ the Pokémon declared. A manner of power reached out from him, and all at once, his ghosts across the tomb stopped their assault. They stopped where they stood, not moving another muscle.

‘Very well. You may speak with my master. We will hold off… until the end of your talk,’ the young man declared. ‘I have no doubt you will fail,’ he told, altogether unconvinced, yet regardless affected on some manner of level.

With that, Bronzor flew forth, and applied its Hypnosis.

As Amelia had accepted this, the felt her consciousness darken and drift away, but not before a final message. But if you can… do what I cannot. Help him.

Then, if Dawkin didn’t, if Greninja didn’t, then Cofagrigus reached forth with its many arms and grabbed Amelia before she fell, and then the room would be silent, nobody having any express reason to speak.

‘Hmpf. Foolhardy girl. I will take pleasure in seeing her expression after her failure,’ the young man said, though his expression was remarkably sour. Aegislash maintained roughly the same aura.

‘Still, we have time. After all, so many years have passed, the ones who locked us away should all be-’

Suddenly, the eyes of both Aegislash and the human widened, glaring off in the distance past Dawkin and the other amassed ghosts.

Aegi-!? Aegislash questioned in alarm.

No! They should… they should all be-! Why are they…!? the young man asked, panic and dread in his voice.

‘Bravo! Bravo!’

… Said the man whose feet hit the sand beside the entrance Joshua was guarding. The man was dressed in a fancy cloak-uniform in black, white and gold, an elderly man in glasses and a balding head, a Chatot placed on his shoulder. To his left was a woman of darker skin-colour in a white official uniform-dress and to his right a man in a suit, holding a book and long staff with a Pokéball etched into the middle of the spire, a huge scarf around his neck and hanging way further than any normal scarf would. The leader had ridden in on an ancient fossil bird Archeops, the woman had ridden in on a psychic bird Xatu though it had looked more like she’d been carried along by psychic power, while the scarf-man with a staff had ridden in on the ogre darner Yanmega. Behind the three of them was a group of numerous men and women dressed all in white with belts of Pokéballs on them.

‘Bravo!’ … Said the Chatot.

‘Bravo, indeed,’ said the older man with a kind smile. ‘You’ve held off the ghosts until we arrived. But, you have nothing more to fear. Let me introduce myself. I am Roderick. Leader of Team Virtue.’

‘These are my Admins, Ivory and Oscar,’ Roderick said, waving gracefully to his companions.

‘You have our gratitude,’ Ivory said, keeping her head lifted, Xatu by her side.

‘Maye the fates…’ Oscar said, weaving with his staff a bit in the air, as if he was blessing Joshua or something, Yanmega buzzing in mid-air beside him. ‘… smile brightly at you for today’s actions.’

‘The situation is now handled. We will end whatever threat has arisen within this tomb, and seal them away once again. Oscar, the chosen Pokémon is ready?’ Roderick asked, turning to his companion.

Oscar lifted and bumped the staff against the sands, looking to the Pokéball etched into the spire.

‘Ready to fulfill its destiny.’ The was something of awe in Oscar’s gaze as he looked at the Pokéball…

‘Good,’ Roderick nodded, taking out a Pokéball of his own and looking towards the assembled horde of ghosts, the men behind the three leaders of Virtue doing the same. They were making ready for battle again, in fact even staggering backwards trying to get to more easily defendable positions. ‘Men, ready for battle!’ Roderick called, completely intending on completely ignoring Joshua…

‘Ready for battle!’ … Called the Chatot.

____

@Eklispe … and @Joshua Tamashii for Greninja, I suppose.

‘Blast it! This is too soon! The master is not ready…!’

Aegislash turned and glared angrily, directly at Dawkin.

Did YOU call for them…!? the young man asked, glaring right alongside the Pokémon controlling him. All of a sudden him and his Golurks and other Pokémon were in the mood to fight again, and Cofagrigus as well as Gengar made ready for battle once again.

Meanwhile, a certain daughter was peeking out through the doorway behind Aegislash’s puppet, for some reason not asleep while all the rest of the ghost’s captives were. There was all of a sudden a whole lot of pressure on Dawkin, and a battle that looked like it was about to break out all at once.

Amelia felt like she woke up with a jolt. It was by the sound of a lightning strike. It felt like she had just been woken up and all the adventuring she had just done had been a single long, extensive dream, all of it suddenly cut short…

This… was her bedroom. Her cage, the very same one she had moments ago been describing for Aegislash. … And that was another lightning strike. The sound of rain pounding against the walls and windows were echoing throughout the house. If she tried to move, each motion felt like it was taking ten times the effort, and like her heart had to work overtime to keep up.

The door suddenly struck open, almost perfectly timed with another lightning bolt. There… stood her father, glaring at her accusingly.

‘I heard… you snuck out again,’ he told, actual anger in his voice. ‘You went far, far away… you can’t do that. It’s not safe out there. You need to stay, right here, if I so have to…’ he took a step forward, and in his hands were chains. Chains to bind Amelia to her bed. He approached slowly, with almost guilty eyes, but… ‘You leave me no choice…’

… Now, there was a lot of negative aspects piling up in this existence, fueled by who knows what that could clearly see her memories as it did what it did, and perhaps it could have been too much for her…

… But with her in her dream were her Pokémon.

Actions?

Eryn ran, with Kylie shooting Fairy Wind overhead to scatter the powder released from the Butterfrees into other areas. Some of the Butterfrees flew close, but they were held off by sudden Embers from Dei as they ran, though they were quick enough to avoid actually being hit. She ran, attempting to outpace the intentions of the Butterfrees… and eventually they let her go, circling back as she was running on… but all of a sudden she was seeing light up ahead… along with even more noise of flapping wings, not those of Butterfrees, but very similar.

Training among one’s own Pokémon is excellent for potentially figuring out and performing combos among your Pokémon or creating excuses for pulling of wild moves or preparing for whatever’s to come. In average, Qwerty and Basilisk both benefited from this training, getting more experience and perhaps getting to know one another a bit better. However, to gain actual levels they’ll need to battle enemies from the wider world~!

With the training done, they headed off towards the Silent Shrine!

Claire moved down along the Mountain Valley towards…

Storms were heading in towards Penrose. Tornadoes chasing towards the buildings of the public while so many Magical Girls were converging on the origin of the magic…

Lea stood in mid-air, high over the city, glaring at the incoming storms. An elfin form with butterflies leaking off her clothes and flying about her. She really didn’t want to interfere with the natural workings of this city, or show off her capabilities… but there really was too few Magical Girls fighting to defend the city against these storms. If nothing was done, then the city may be destroyed far before the Magical Girls could stop the source. This city would take damage that wouldn’t be repaired for numerous years… that just wouldn’t do. Asengav had invested in this city. Lea was NOT about to let it be destroyed because some OTHER Horror had a plan in the works!

The Windfall Sprite blew forth at magnificent speed towards the nearest tornado. Upon reaching it, she let a burst of wind blow forth against its own flow, her magic charging to disrupt the formation of the destructive weather phenomenon. It might require a few bursts, but the Magical Girl summoned her Wind-specialization and scattered it to still the air around her… and eventually it worked, that particular tornado was no more, the wind in the immediate area slowed to a stand-still. … But that was far from the only one that was approaching. If nobody stopped what was going on, Lea herself would most certainly be insufficient eventually.

‘Tsk… we don’t want to fight another Horror. Are we left to hope the powers of the local Magical Girls are enough…?’ Lea asked herself, glaring back… Wasn’t there someone…?

_______________

‘Wo-o-oaaahahahaha…!’ Mayra laughed, the scaly monster-girl looking up at the present storms from a rooftop. She had actually gotten up here in order to look at (and possibly intrude upon) the meeting with Cindy Ford, but she’d been greeted by something so much bigger! Tornadoes and promises of destruction and whatnot! ‘Awesome! This city is awesome!’ she called for herself. This last week and something she’d been staying at Su’s, mainly just being a nuisance and wanted to hang out all the time and ask all sorts of questions and wanted to get involved in every kind of fight that had been going on. But, this was something extra…!

Huh? She knew that piece of green over there, looking like a tiny fairy in the distance. ‘Oh, it’s Lea! Heeeeeeeeey, Lea!’ Mayra waved at her, utterly unconcerned. ‘Huh?’ Lea was pointing at something. First now did Mayra become aware that there was black smoke surrounding the graveyard, and a ton of Magical Girls that were heading in… ‘Oh-wow, oh-wow, oh-wow, oh-wow! It’s becoming a giant brawl!? A huge free-for-all!? That… that’s so awesome…!’ She turned and grinned at Lea, knowing that Lea probably would never allow her to go there. Mayra thought of going anyway~

Huh? Lea was staring at her. Mayra blinked in surprise, pointed at herself, then pointed at the smoke.

In the vast distance, Lea nodded to her. Mayra’s excitement, chest and eyebrows all rose high.

‘DON’T START WITHOUT ME!’ Mayra launched herself with fire straight off the building, sending herself flying across town to come crashing down into the black mist.

@BrokenPromise

_______________

‘Keh-heh!’ laughed a little witch in purple and dark clothing with a small round purple/pink creature flying by her head. She was inside a building in Penrose, accessible only from the balcony outside, and currently utterly unconcerned with the storm going on outside. Within, she was furnishing with magical artifacts and weapons that she had collected over time, as well as some donated by Cindy Ford in order to buy her allegiance. ‘Soon, I’ll be ready! I’ll be opening my grand magical store in Penrose! Oooh, I should get into contact with Penrose Independant, see if I can place an add for my grand opening!’ She jumped up onto the table next to her cash register (for magical cash) and pointed up excitedly towards the ceiling.

‘Brittany Todd’s Magical Market for artifacts, weapons and divination will soon be open for public! It’ll be the best, Agatha!’ she announced to her Lesser Force patron, oh, so, happily.

‘ ’ Agatha replied.

‘Damn straight! Keh-heh-heh!’ Brittany laughed. She then looked around at the different shelves… ‘… Though to be honest, the shelves are still pretty bare. If only magical artifacts weren’t so rare. Keh-heh, guess they wouldn’t sell so well if they weren’t!’ And so, Brittany chuckled for herself as she stood on the register bench…

That’s when the door opened.

‘Wow! I’ve never seen so many magical artifacts in one place! This is truly a store in the making, huh?’ called a bubbly voice.

Brittany spun around and assumed an immediate fighting stance, eyes wide and alarmed. Before her stood an energetic-seeming yellow-haired short magical girl with long twin-tails and a sword on her back, pretty innocent looking, alongside the most terrifying-looking monster girl she had ever laid her eyes upon.

‘Wh-what are you doing here!? Th-the store’s not open yet!’ Brittany shouted out at them, clearly alarmed, Agatha taking a stance on her shoulder, just in case.

‘Oh, but we heard what you were setting up so we thought we’d come in and take a look!’ Josefin said with a happy tone while Taihei advanced slowly, looking around herself with a blank look on her face.

‘Come back when we’re open!’ Brittany shouted to them, now frowning. ‘I’m warning you, any attempt to steal my wares - and I’ll know, I’m Psychic Specialized - and you’ll not only face the power of my magnificent magic, but you’ll also be marked for death by Mistress Cindy, not to mention immediately targeted by the full might of the Lesser Force Agatha, right here on my shoulder!’ With that call, the purple/pink creature that was Agatha swelled to take up the majority of the available space above Brittany, pulsing with power.

‘ ’ Agatha called.

‘W-wait, hold on, that’s not-’ Josefin started, suddenly panicking and raising her hands in a panicked motion.

‘You’re misunderstanding,’ Taihei calmly stated, pulling a bag that had been wrapped around her shoulder. ‘We’re not here to be either thieves nor customers…’ she said, opening the bag’s top and turning it upside down. Brittany’s eyes went wide.

‘We want to be your suppliers,’ Taihei calmly stated, as a considerable amount of magical artifacts spilled down on the floor… Josefin giggled a bit by the side as Brittany watched the spectacle in awe. Then, the little witch smiled oh, so widely. There had to be some spirit of luck looking out for her after all.

Mariette sat silently in one of the chairs of an empty apartment, watching through small portals as the events of the day were unfolding. Held to one of her ears was a small phone, listening to the reports of what was going on across town. Lea was fighting off tornadoes, Mayra was their somewhat expendable recruit that would tip the likelihood just a bit towards their hopeful success while hopefully being tough enough not to die, Josefin and Taihei followed the tip which they’d received by phone a while earlier, and the rest…

Jelena and Victoria were backups, while Freya, Suzette and Tullia was once again preparing something as the city of Penrose was distracted. That made the second time they were setting something up while the city was distracted. If they could keep that up… well, suppose this didn’t need to be so difficult after all.

Mariette stood up. She had someone she wanted to talk to today, after all. A small warning to deliver…
@Ephemeral

So, Erza got closer, intending to catch one of the Blitzles among the rain and lightning strikes. Though, when he got closer to the heard, there was suddenly something that caught his eye. It was very faint... but wasn't there something... off... about one of the Blitzles?

Wisp
Sheila Hopkins

PRT Building

Guess there was nothing else to it, huh. Got to do what she can.

Wisp ran over to Inkscape and probably collected one of those communicators. “Communicate”, Legend said, but Wisp was too afraid that raising her voice meant talking over someone more useful. Still. She made herself available, while looking all around her. Still keeping her wisp floating about her, just in case someone recognized it and wanted to make use of her.

In lack of anything else, she'd try to make someone aware of her powers allowing her to see all around her as well as potentially shooting light at things like beacons if so needed. Then she'll do something. (Consider this post unfinished, I'll write something more when I figure something out. She'll do SOMETHING, just need to come up with it first.)

Speedrunner, somewhat more confident, probably went to the distance attackers + Legend first, with a statement of ‘I speed people close to me up! I can make those who can hurt Behemoth faster!’ to either the other capes there or the communicator, hopeful to make herself useful. Maybe she was better used for S&R, but she’d try getting into the big leagues anyway.
