Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Hey guys, sorry for not posting in a while. I've been kind of busy so it might take a longer while before I can ge to posting.

The conversations were sparse and most of them just was interested about the Bearon that was awaiting them at the Crystal Grove. Honestly, he didn't mind that their mind was on the right track. He could hear that Maybell was questioning how far away they need to go. He didn't exactly memorize the map in its entirety so he wondered as well. Though, he wasn't exactly going to complain even if it was far away. He was rather sure that this trip wasn't exactly going to be very short. At least the mission kept his mind out of certain things while he walked down the forest.

Then, they heard the piercing scream of a young boy. Francis immediately felt like he needed to do something and rushed forward. He saw Rhaya do the same thing. They went on to distract the Jeweled Hornets and they turned their attention to them. Francis took out his sabre when the Hornets turned to them. When one of the Hornets tried to stab him, he dodged the attack successfully and tried to pivot and strike the Hornet. Though, he magnificently missed and he clicked his tongue. Well, no use crying for spilled milk. He'd just have to do something else.

He pressed his hand against his sabre and chanted. "Ferrum Aceres." The blade glowed for a moment, hinting that the enchantment had been successfully planted. He then backed away for a moment, eyes darting at the boy who was cowering to the side. They needed to get him out of the fire of battle. But they'd have to deal with the Hornets as well. Francis shuffled backwards slowly, waiting for the Hornet's strike and what else his companions had planned on doing.

Marvin was now happily whistling to himself as he moved forward with the group. It seemed that he had moved on from the eerie sound from earlier. There was no use dwelling on the past when your future is so bleak. He wanted to just take in the peaceful moment because he was pretty damn sure that this wasn't going to last. Others felt jittery, and the century old ghoul felt like he was having the time of his life.

So far, no one has shot anyone yet. So that was good, right? No one's going all bat shit crazy and shooting up those who they don't trust - especially the ones in the factions. He wasn't sure who had their own beliefs in this group, others were obvious but others were... less so. Sure, there were some of them who seemed to be mercenaries. John looked like a private investigator and hopefully wasn't tied down to a faction. Frankie, as a medic, wouldn't be bothered with allegiances he imagined. Being healed is an equal opportunity thing, after all.

His eyes drifted to the Paladin who made a gesture about the radio. She turned hers off. Private conversation it would seem. He reached inside his coat to turn his off as well. She asked for an introduction. He didn't mind. As he said before, being a sniper, the group needed to give him at least a semblance of trust that he wouldn't blow their heads off. Though, he doubted the Paladin would be too worried about that considering her armor. He'd have to take some big risks just to take down someone who is in full Power Armor.

"Marvin Hiller, or Spectre, if you prefer code names." He replied, taking her hand and shaking it. It was an odd sight, he imagined, for a ghoul to be shaking hands with a Star Paladin of the Brotherhood of Steel. After that, he released her hand and then placed it back on his rifle. "Miss Khaliya then." He said with a small nod to himself, as if he was mentally telling himself to remember her name.

He gave a small smile to the Paladin as she went on to tell him - to reassure him - that her being a Brotherhood Paladin did not matter right now. Then, she went on to tell about working together. Marvin then let out a light chuckle, as if what she had just said was a joke. "I assure you, Miss Khaliya, that I am well aware that you're not here on Brotherhood business. And even if you are, I simply do not care. As long as you will not kill me, then you're good in my books." While he wouldn't completely be at ease around her, he certainly wasn't feeling as queasy as the others. "I won't cause any trouble, if that's what you're worried about. We're all buddies now, Miss Khaliya. Hopefully the others feel the same way."

With that, he returned to his normal walking and turned on his radio. It was true. Her reassurances were not needed at all. Marvin could at least trust those that don't shoot him the moment they see him. And if that was a Brotherhood Paladin, then so be it. He could work with them procided they reciprocated the feeling. Though, he wasn't sure what the others thought of each other. He knew that John and Frankie won't betray them. They seem to only really wish to finish the job as well. He took a look back at them but only for a few seconds.

They came upon an overturned train making it impossible to pass through the side. Looked like they'd either have to walk inside individually or go up like Khaliya said. Like the others, he wasn't exactly comfortable with going up since most of the horrors of the Necropolis is sure to be up there. Khaliya asked if someone wanted to scout the train and someone stepped up for it. And then another volunteered to go with him as well. A duo. Perfect. Now if only there was nothing on the other side.

He turned back to the entrance. "Good luck, you two. Come back alive, yeah?" He then looked back at Khaliya. "Want me to set up so I have a good view of that entrance? Just in case something comes down chasing these two?" He questioned. He wasn't clumsy enough to shoot his own allies, or even take that risk shot if he wasn't sure he can do it. But even in that cramped area, he does feel like he could get a few shots in if the two are in trouble.

Alex followed Bella and smiled at her replies. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all. She followed Bella to the car, and felt rather guilty to actually hitch a ride with her. But she had insisted and Alex rode in. After being dropped off, she entered her house. As expected, there was no one at her house. She expected that the lecture would come late at night once her parents had come back home.

After all, they didn't even take the time out of their jobs to take her out of the hospital, so she didn't expect them to take an early leave.

So, she did what she could do. Jess had dropped off some notes into the mail as well as their due assignments tomorrow that had been given earlier. Alex went on to do the homework and study up on some of Jess's messy notes. When she heard her parents' cars pull up the driveway, she took a deep breath and then let Poyzz rest on the table with some beef jerky. "Stay here, Poyzz. Don't come down, okay?"

Poyzz looked worriedly at his master. "Are you going to be alright Alex?" He questioned, pressing his palms against each others.

"I'll be fine."

The hour long lecture she had gotten from her parents was strenuous and her ears would fall off if it was physically possible. They had shouted at first and Alex wouldn't meet their eyes. Even if she skipped school for the greater good, she couldn't say that to them. Their lectures fell on deaf ears because she already knew the drill. Alex knew all of it by heart now.

Don't fail them.

That was it. That was the core of the lecture. Once they were done, they were tired. Her father told her that if her grades doesn't go down because of this, then it was fine. She could take all the breaks she wanted but she cannot flunk a subject. How sweet. At least they gave her permission to skip classes however many times she wanted. Wonder how the principal would feel about that.

There was nothing about her visit to the hospital. They didn't dare mention it for reasons unknown to her. Ah well, it was to be expected. After all, she was still very much alive and didn't even really get any serious injuries. Of course they wouldn't care all that much.

She went up to her room and then collapsed onto her bed. Poyzz landed on the side of her pillow and then patted the side of her head. Despite his usually energetic self, he knew better than to pester her any further. So, he simply hummed a very, very old lullaby that he has learned from a long time ago.

Once more, only the alarm woke her up. She went on to do her own thing, cleaning up and then dressing up. Unexpectedly, Jess was waiting at her doorstep with a concerned look on her face. "Talk. Now."

Alex resigned herself to telling a story, giving out the reason that she only wanted to take a break. After all, school was getting the best of her. Jess then went on to say that she and Brian and her should go out and have some fun on the weekend. That way, she would get to relax.

"Should I wait for the two of you to finish detention?" She asked once they reached the school.

"If you want, Jess." She replied and the girl nodded.

The two of them made their way to the classroom and went on with their classes. Jess usually pushes away anyone who questioned why she suddenly left and what she did. Jess was really good at deflecting them and Alex owed a lot to her.

Once that was all done, she bid farewell to Jess who decided to wait at a nearby cafe. She headed to the meeting place with the kwami. She patted her jacket softly and Poyzz came out. "Have fun Poyzz." She told the ferret.

"I will!" He then flew towards a close hiding place to see Hoppi there. He waved at her frantically just as Alex headed down. "Hoppi!" He exclaimed.

Alex went on to attend detention and clean lockers.
Alex was used to awkwardness. People who want to talk to Jess, especially males who want to go out with her, tend to be painfully awkward or painfully egotistical. She could even say that she got used to seeing and hearing people stumble over their words just because Jess was within the vicinity. However, hearing it come from a younger girl because she couldn't believe the fact that she could be friends with her... it wasn't exactly the same. Alex felt seriously out of her element.

"I don't mind questions, don't worry." She reassured the girl with a dismissive wave of her hand. She then gave her another reassuring smile. "Yeah, they're in my year. But they won't mind having a new friend. I should know, Jess has loads of 'em." She said with a light laugh. It certainly was sincere. While she can only assure Jess' side of things as she wasn't sure how Brian reacted to younger friends, especially one who had such a jump in age like Bella, she was rather sure that he'll come around. Despite how he is usually, he doesn't actually actively seek fights. Not with them around to control him at least.

Alex began to play with her wristwatch as they walked. She certainly didn't notice the different pace they were going on and Bella actually slowed down to match her walking pace. "We can help you with schoolwork too..." She then looked down, eyebrows creased. "Well, you are a star student so maybe you wouldn't need it?" She mused to herself. The three of them weren't exactly your straight A students, so maybe they wouldn't be that much help despite being years above her.

Alexis watched the event unfold though she eventually got tired of standing and simply got back down on her seat and then propped her head on her hand. It would seem that no one else but, well, her own clubmates wanted to fight. It was barrier magic so maybe they weren't being all that aggressive, but still, using magic wasn't really the best idea in the world to do when facing off with someone you have bad blood with - defensive or not.

But thankfully, they did leave without much of a problem. They apologized for how they acted rashly - but not enough really. But she'll take it. Anything other than fighting is welcomed. Made her feel at ease now that they had left without any of them actually throwing punches. When the others started talking about the Christmas party, she welcomed the change of topic and looked back at them.

"Agreed." Alex said with a nod once Kanbaru stopped talking. She then turned to Chie who then went on to say that they wouldn't be able to use the room thanks to the damage that they had done to the room. Shame, this was a good place to host it but oh well. Such was life. "I could try and find a place to rent that's within our budget." She offered. If there wasn't going to be any enemies skulking around during the night, she'd use her free time to search for possible locations.

"Let's just hope we don't run into much trouble." Marvin commented as he walked beside the Paladin. Hoping that trouble wasn't at every corner of this place was like hoping for a miracle - or even hoping that he'd be human again. It was just impossible. They weren't under any time limit so there was no worries there. He was not looking forward to what they might potentially see and fight during their adventure. He's fought Deathclaws, sure, but who knew what inhabits the inner places of the Necropolis.

As the map was taken from him, he let his hand rest on the strap of his rifle and tilted his head when the Paladin had stopped abruptly, as if something was wrong. He looked towards her, not knowing the emotion her face held thanks to the mask hiding it, and then that was when he heard it. It was a low hum. He could barely hear it and wouldn't have noticed it if Khaliya hadn't stopped.

He began to furrow his eyebrows as he continued to listen to this... mechincal sound. Marvin couldn't say what exactly was wrong with it, but his instincts were telling him to get the hell out of there. The more he tried to listen to it, the more it messed with him. It was like hearing grinding gears underwater, distorted somehow. And he couldn't block the sound out. His grip on the strap of his rifle tightened but was snapped out of it when Khaliya finally spoke up again and handed him back the map.

"The wall, huh?" He then folded the map quickly and put it in his coat's inner pocket and then nodded. "Agreed. That wall sure is doing a mighty good job with trying to keep everything separated..." He muttered, well aware that the radio could pick up on what he was saying. Frankly, he didn't care about it. Let them hear that he wasn't completely sure about getting out of there alive. The wall was just the beginning. This was when things get way worse.

He turned back to look at the group. Some of them reacted to the sound. Or at least, he assumed they did through their body language. He couldn't exactly see their faces thanks to the helmets the rad suits had. Looks like it'll be difficult to read any faces this tiem around. No studying other people and their reactions then. The suits don't exactly give much out either considering how bulky they were. He was the only one here who was in complete display.

Well, at least he didn't have to worry about being inhibited by said suits. He heard that moving around those was a nightmare and a half. He snickered but hid it under his hand. Who said being a ghoul was a bad thing?
Raviel Husk

Raviel wanted to catch his breath with this guy. Obviously, just physical attacks weren't working. He was too strong and he just kept on taking hits like it was nothing. As Galmore was casting his spell, he quickly put an enhancing buff on himself - his last rune. Enhanced Magical Strength. That way, his conjured weapons would give a bit more of a punch than before. The violet coloration of his sword turned darker, pointing to the success of the enhancement.

He then ran towards the ball of magical energy and before it would hit, he would teleport just in front of Galmore and then slammed the sword into his face. The sword wasn't meant to slash though, and just hit like a blunt object. Whether or not it did damage, Raviel teleported a few meters away and extended his hand as a staff appeared back in his hands.
Faye Nisval

"Unfortunately, I cannot place them on the skin of any living being, aside from trees. The magical energy causes them to go on a frenzy." She then rubbed her chin. "Of course, if you can give a mouse some piece of, let's say, clothing, then I'd be able to place a rune on them." She explained. Though, Faye was rather sure they had caught up to that before. They were rather sharp people.

"Indeed. I did get the idea from your country." Faye said with a smile. Ideas came from all over the place - and sometimes, she could get some from other people who practice magic.

She then listened closely to what they're planning, lacing her fingers together as she leaned on to the table.
Alex couldn't help but smile when the other girl agreed with her. At least they had some sense about being lured into a trap like this. But she was right. They had no choice now but to merely go with it. "That works fine with me. Let's exchange numbers tomorrow, that way we'll be able to talk about the location and time." She said also in agreement along with a nod. Alex couldn't help but sigh and think what her friends would say once they found out that she would hang around underclassmen who she hasn't even met prior to today.

Poyzz suddenly burst through her jacket faster than she could catch him. "See 'ya there Beek!" The Miraculous gave him finger guns as Alex rolled her eyes as she grabbed the Ferret Miraculous. "What? Everyone knows now so there's no harm right?" He pointed out as he wriggled out of her hand with ease. He then placed himself on her shoulder.

"Yeah alright. I'll drop him off before detention!" Alex turned back to tell Eddie before he and Tonya began to talk.

She then looked at Bella who had caught up to her. "That's... not what I meant..." She said, rubbing the back of her head. She could hear Poyzz snicker from beside her ear and she patted her jacket and the Miraculous entered. "We could be friends. It's fine. I just don't want us talking about hero stuff all too much. We can hang out, don't worry."

Alex wasn't one for making friends. Usually, other people would intiate that. So right now, she was not in her element. "If you don't mind talking with our local gossip Jess and our local delinquent Brian, then it should be fine." Her group of friends wasn't exactly your run-of-the-mill group who had things in common. Practically the only thing they had in common was that they grew up as classmates and you wouldn't even say that any single one of them is an outcast. Many people don't see why they actually grouped together, but it kept the nosey people away. Most of the time.
Alex had made quick work of the floor and went to wiping the surface of counter. She's seen this thing dirtied one too many times to brush it off anymore. Though, she did wish for time to go by slowly. She dreaded having to meet up with the others. She still didn't think it was a good idea to keep their identities out in the open like that - even if it was just between themselves. Alex could list out entire reasons as to why this was such a horrible idea. That Barristris did a number on them - and she was pretty loathe to admit that.

When they were given the 'go' signal to leave and that they would be cleaning lockers tomorrow, Alex gravitated to Brian. She honestly didn't want him to leave yet, if anything, so that she'd be able to get out of this meeting even if she was the one to tell him that they should group up later. "Something the matter Alex?" Brian couldn't help but ask, seeing the distress in her face. Only a few people could read her as easily, and Brian was one of them.

"No. Nothing, just... uh, you go home first." Alex finally said.

"Alright. Take care going home alright." Brian said as he patted Alex's head and then left. "See you tomorrow at detenion! I can't wait until Jess talks to me about this!" He followed up with a light chuckle.

Alex then took in a deep breath to calm herself as she waved goodbye to the male. Once she was calm enough, she headed over to the young boy who was waiting for them. Bella had gone to her, asking her whether she was ready to go home or not, but cut herself off when she saw Eddie who was taking out his kwami. Her heart began to race. But she said nothing and waited for the other one to come. Once she was there, Alex would be the first one to speak up.

"I know you guys are ecstatic that you found out who the heroes are. Who your teammates are. But I seriously doubt that this is a good idea." She started before crossing her arms. "There is a reason why there are secret identities. To protect those who are close to us. Even if it's just us here and we all promise never to tell anyone about our secret identities, don't you think Rogue Bat will still find a way to work around this?" Alex continued. If she figured out how those akumas work correctly, then any one of them was susceptible to being put under Rogue Bat's control. They are still human after all. And once Rogue Bat orders one of them to find the others and take their Miraculous, then they'd be able to do so even without seeking them out for their Miraculous forms.

"I'm sorry, but this shouldn't have happened in the first place. I wanted to keep my personal life and my hero life as separate as possible." She admitted, now moving to put her hands inside her pockets. There it was, her number one reason for not wanting to know their secret identities.
