Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Well, I'm glad you fixed your internet nonetheless! Hope to see you in another RP dude! Good luck and see ya!
Oh man, now this is a great twist to the Magical Girl trope! I hope you still have some space in there because I'm game for something like this.

Forest - ???
The former waitress gave Honami a tight lipped smile as she pulled her up and then looked over to the mysterious girl as she continued her rambling. She wanted for them to hide. Much like the others, Hiroko didn't quite understand why. Was there some sort of animal that was hunting her down? Hiding wouldn't quite help now would it? And perhaps Hiroko wished for that to simply be the case. That it was only some forest animal. Because the cheers were not very comforting. It was like the jeering of some perverts in some back alley.

That was until the arrows started piercing their surroundings. The rush of adrenaline was probably the only thing that kept her alive as she ducked down behind a tree, much like the others as Kaito yelled for them to hide, and had narrowly avoided being a human pincushion. Calm down. Breathe. You've never been in a life or death situation before but you can manage if you can just stay calm. Hiroko repeated it to herself over and over until her breath started to even out. That was when Honami shouted and picked up a rock.

As she chucked out the rock with what seems to be all the anger in her heart, Hiroko moved to grab the nearest arrow and pulled it out of the ground. Hey, she might as well grab something to defend herself with if these archers decide to show their faces after realizing shooting arrows is practically futile.

"Who even uses bows and arrows to hunt people nowadays..." Besides, these must be some sick people to even think of hunting this poor girl.
Aleissa lorebit (that I just decided on while I was writing) unlocked: Loud sounds or anything that sounds remotely like a gunshot makes her jump. Sometimes even stop.

I feel like yall characters would know this by the way so I had to mention it. It'll make for an interesting narrative when they face people who tote guns around like they were cowboys walking into a saloon with the intention of stealing all of their cash and their women.

Interacting with: everyone

Despite the lack of change on Aleissa's face, the grip on the drink she had ordered earlier had tightened to the point of the paper cup showing folds. Her eyes flickered to where Helena touched her neck - the abundance of make up was obvious to someone like her. She couldn't help but schooch closer to her friend, every movement seemingly stiff but that's what usually happens when she's showing some form of worry over her friends. They would be familiar with it by now.

She reached out to touch Helena's shoulder, being extra careful about it. "I'm glad you're alright and reovering." She said with a tight smile. With that, she removed her hand from Helena but still kept herself close to her more physically strong friend. She turned to Casper who relayed his own burglary story. This one didn't end in violence but it was no less horrible. Casper loved his motorcyle like it was his own child. In fact, she was pretty sure that it was by now. He was a racer after all. For someone to take it away was just horrible. People's greed were oftentimes too much. To ever think of harming someone else or simply taking someone else's things...

Then Derek spoke and the burning need to punch something or rather preferably someone's face had overcome the gymnast. Derek was a tough person and he seemed fine, but that didn't stop her from worrying about it. And the situation was different from robbery - no, this was a personal attack to someone's person. An attack against someone's sexuality. All the same, she felt uncomfortable. She knew that the group was very accepting of it, in fact, many were in this city. Aleissa had gotten away with both boyfriends and girlfriends alike in the past and her sexuality had always been out in the open. To see people are still harrassed for it, it certainly was frustrating.

As Scott asked if others had stories like those, memories of that horrible day years ago flashed through her mind. The bank's alarm. The shouts of the masked men. Waving the gun. Being forced into a corner next to a man. Sitting down and waiting for help. The men cursing because the police had the bank surrounded. The police's demands. The robbers' demands. Talk about taking her hostage. Being grabbed by the arm. The man tackling the robber. A gunshot. Blood. Blood everywhere. The funeral. His daughter screaming and crying and blaming her. The mother apologizing.

"You already know mine." It was a story she had to tell. She hadn't contacted any of them for days after that. Loud sounds made her jump but it eventually got better. Thunderstorms were still a terror to live through but she was doing her best. When she had come out of hiding, they had been worried. She had to tell them what happened for the sake of appeasing them. It was a distant memory and yet it felt like it had just happened yesterday. "Like it or not Scott, we don't live in a peaceful city."

Forest - ???
Hiroko skidded to a stop when someone barreled right into Honami. The impact had sent them sprawling onto the ground. She narrowed her eyes at the stranger who seemed rather frantic - or rather, she was most likely the one they had heard scream earlier. She took a moment to take in what the girl looked like. She was wearing some odd garb that she's only seen a bunch of cosplayers wear around when there was convention going on - or when they're doing some photoshoots or whatnot. Hey, Hiroko didn't judge. In her part of Japan, those weren't rare and if that made them happy, then so be it.

Hiroko was thrown back from her thoughts when Honami had pushed the girl off of her but the mystery girl seemed unfazed, frantically talking about how they're coming and that they should hurry. Hurry and do what? Honami had blown a fuse - which was certainly understandable considering what had happened and the building stress due to their unknown location - and was going off at the girl.

She moved to Honami and extended a hand to help her up, letting out an - "Are you okay?" - as she did so. Hiroko was sure that the girl was just too frantic to put any attention to them, hence the lack of apology and the start of the incident in the first place. She has crossed paths with many people who are like these. When someone is too focused on what they wanted to do that they forget everyone else around them.

Hiroko raised her head to look at the girl. "If you can calm down and explain to us what you're saying, then maybe we can be of more help." Hiroko tried to seem as accommodating as possible, opposite to Honami's disgruntled questions so that maybe they would actually get a straight answer. And maybe an answer to where exactly they were.
Yep, it's completely fine with me! Thanks for the concern though

And also, I'll try to work on my post but I still have some finals looming over my head so apologies if it takes a while
