"Came by to apologize?"Violet repeated in surprise, "Coming by to just apologize from across the world to the exact town you live in is a little much. He could have sent something." She folded her arms as she quickly changed the topic. Something was up, but it'd be best for her sister to think less of him and to distract herself, so she agreed. "Hmm. Fine..." She softened but before Violet could say more, she was being dragged into the house.

Violet helped her pick an outfit to her request, a pair of black shorts and a netted see-through crop top to go over her bralette. Going for the hot route would definitely mean she'd end up flirting with different guys and forgetting about Damien, so it was optimal. Plus, she knew it was Rose's style and she'd have fun in it. She smiled when Rose came out. "Back in black."She mused and put her hands together in appreciation of her work, "You look beautiful. "

She descended the stairs and blew a kiss to Felix, taking the time to appreciate his look as well. "Parfait, mon amour!" Of course, Violet insisted on driving. She had a pink convertible beetle. The inside of it smelled like cupcakes and had a vase of flowers in the front seat. She was extra.

Once they arrived at Trance, she got out of the car delicately and began to smooth down the skirt of her dress. "Trance is much more upscale than the Pit, don't you think?"

Niko went on an interesting tirade about how she needed to be less reckless and how he was scheduled to be off. She found herself frowning when he said he was going to become disappointed in her. He had a lot of nerve acting like she had forced him to come here during her time off. She asked if someone would check out the scene in front of the Pit, to which Sean answered the call. Clearly, he wanted to come here. "Hold up." She protested indignantly, "I pursued a vampire that attacked me to ensure the safety of others and I'm reckless? I didn't need saving and did not ask anyone to save me. "

When it came to them helping her with her pursuit, she knew no one would. If he thought this was a suicide mission, then he'd probably think she was joking if she told him her real goal. Besides, Angel wanted it to be her little secret. Desiree was her kill. They may have all been put in a squad, but she still preferred to do work alone. There was less to worry about when she was alone. However, the commander seemed really adamant this time that they all work together, and it seemed Niko was on that kick too.

He had come over when she had been previously been speaking and actually touched her hair to start tending to her wound. Angel averted her eyes as soon as he had gotten close. It felt like he was pouring a liquid on it. Angel guessed he carried around those vials the hunters had been telling them about earlier this week. She started to protest that was making her wound worse when it started to sting, but then it started feeling better so she had shut her mouth. Angel muttered her thanks and watched as he took out a lighter and declared he hating the clean-up. She actually enjoyed watching them burn to ashes, but she thought that might be a bit morbid to announce.

Angel made no move to distant herself much from the flames and stared down at them as they burned up. They'd be doing a lot of that once they all went back to where they came from in Hell, if there even was one that is. The more she watched, the more she realized they were burning up way faster than should be possible. The bodies completely disappeared in a few puffs of smoke not long after. "Wait. What?"Angel could not help but say out loud. However, by the time she had spoken those words, Niko was already walking away, calling back to her to keep up. She jogged over, accidentally passing him and having to stop for him to catch up as she asked, "What the heck was with that? I want one of those lighters."

"And you know what, Niko? You wanna know something really disappointing? The best line you could come up with was 'We're your worst nightmare.'" Angel continued speaking before he could answer her initial question, as she still was a bit defensive from his earlier chastising. She took on a mocking tone on the last four words, taking on a deep voice at the end to try to sound like him, "Talk about a cliche! What are you, the boogeyman? You HAVE to work on that."

As soon as they arrived back at the Pit, she caught sight of Sean rolling down his window as he sat in his vehicle. She listened as he spoke before replying as she moved closer, "I was not sure myself, to be honest. I thought it was better safe than sorry since that place is crawling with freaks. Was it the girl in the gothic clothes with the older guy with long dark hair? She paused a moment when he asked about what happened with them. He probably was gonna get annoyed that she got into the situation just as Niko did. Angel gave Niko a devious grin and then told Sean, "Well. I was chasing down a vampire who thought I was a capri sun and then I found Nikolaus, yelling for my help and surrounded by three other vampires so I had to rescue him. I defeated them all. He was very lucky I found him."She patted Niko's head, "You should be more careful. Anyways! Let's go in. "

Kyran & Risa

Time: Afternoon
Location: Outside a clothing shop in Roshmi

Kyran looked around for Risa once Elsea and Dionaea had gone inside the shop. He finally found her by looking upward at the overhang of the place. She was sitting up there instead of going inside. Risa never rejected shopping. He decided to go up and check on her himself. Kyran climbed up, jumping up on a nearby box and with his high agility, managed to climb up on overhang too. He sat beside her, putting his arm around her. “Not in the mood to shop, princess? That’s not like you; what’s on your mind?” he questioned.

He knew there was obviously a lot that could be on her mind, but he wanted to give her the chance to vent. She bottled up things very often for others’ sake.

Risa glanced over at him and leaned her head on his shoulder. She had been deep in thought and had barely noticed him climb up. Kicking her feet over the edge anxiously, she was silent for a few moments, reluctant to dump her thoughts on him. She sighed finally, relenting and telling him quietly, “I’m so worried about all those humans… They could be lost and alone. Who knows how many there are. And oh gosh, Dionaea’s family… My heart feels like it’s going to crumble. I am not sure I know the right thing to do.”

Kyran rubbed her arm to comfort her. “Well, we need to gather humans to keep them safe and speak up. I am sure there are a lot of others that do not agree with everything going on and will stand by you. We need you to tell the species of this city that we can stand against this we have the means to do so if humans are willing to stand and fight by our side. Your voice could mean the end of Aklenroth’s reign. And about Dionaea’s family that goes hand in hand with the first thing I said we need help if we ever plan to save them, we cannot do this alone.” He said hoping to spark something in her mind.

“I don’t know if my voice is important. ” “Risa said honestly, “I’m just a nineteen-year-old girl… But I guess if my last name may mean something to people I could speak up. “ She bit her lip as she thought it over. Her grandparents were well-respected by all due to the kindness they had shown not just fairies, but other species. Older generations would probably respect her word. Though there was a chance she could get people to hear her out, she needed to say the right words. Risa at first pondered if she would need a script but she quickly realized the best she could do was speak from her heart. She needed to gather her thoughts together at the least regardless. They’d probably need orbs to broadcast an announcement with the amount of range they needed and it would definitely be risky. It would also have to be in the right place and time.

“The ball could be good for finding more humans and allies, though risky. But we need more than just humans so maybe my voice can reach others. I will gather my thoughts for such an event but the where and how will be another obstacle I fear.” Risa added.

“Your voice is important, Risa, and honestly you could be our only hope to gather enough of those willing to stand up. I need you, no, we need you.” He said to her softly, “I think I know the best time to do it and I’ll explain it all later. We can look for humans during the ball though that would be a good idea since there will be a lot of mingling between everyone there.”

Everyone was really counting on her then. Risa would bear the burden and she’d succeed for them. She had to. “Okay. I will do this.” She told him firmly and smiled at him. “I’ll be brave. We can talk about it later. I wanna think about it. “ Now that they were alone, she could finally ask him about what had happened in the diner. “So what happened with your eye? I was really worried about you… Has that happened before?”

“Honestly, I am not sure. It has never happened before but I felt a deep rage and hatred almost like an insatiable sense of hunger toward war and fighting. I fear that was only a glimpse, also was there any changes in my eye? I only felt a searing pain in it.” He told Risa, holding her close to him protectively.

” Your eye looked … kind of scary.”Risa replied quietly, looking away, ” Let me know if it happens again. I haven’t learned of any condition like that yet in training, so we might need to find someone more experienced.” She noticed he was holding her as she finished speaking and blushed. They had always been close and affectionate but something about it felt different the last year.

“What do you mean scary?” He questioned with jumbles of thoughts in his mind about what it could be; he thought of telling his parents but what if that caused too much concern with them. He decided to try and let this go for the time being.

” One of your eyes glowed red.” Risa explained to him. Maybe she had just not heard of the phenomenon because it was a demi-human ailment. Although, the healing mentors did try to teach them of ailments of all species. ” Just watch your stress and anger for now. It’s probably a good thing Elthrael left.”

“Yeah, thanks Risa, by the way, for being there for me,” he said, before kissing her cheek. “You’re an amazing friend and I love you for that.”

Violet had slipped into a black, tight, spaghetti-strap dress and paired it with some black-knee high boots. She pulled over a light-weight, maroon, velvet bomber jacket. She had twirled around in the mirror, rapidly changing clothes with the use of magic until she found a look she liked for the last twenty minutes before deciding on this outfit. She accessorized with a black choker and some rings, then took her hair out of her ponytail and ran her hands through it. Her makeup was already done and still in order. It was a simple look with overdramatic lashes and not very much eyeshadow. She simply reapplied her lipstick and blew herself a kiss in the mirror. "Felix! I'm ready. I'll wait downstairs." Violet called to him as she moved down the stairs, her heeled boots clicking through the empty house.

That was when the emotions hit her. She slowed to a halt at the bottom of the stairs. Anger. Guilt. Paranoia. These were all her sister's emotions and she was not far at all. Violet moved to the window and she too started to feel angry as she recognized the swine from Paris right away. It was enough to make her blood boil. She couldn't believe it. That loser stalked her all the way back here. She watched as his dumb bird handed her a piece of paper and inched the window open a little to try to hear him as he spoke.

"...I had someone enchant it before I left Atlanta. Make the holder feel… good."

The door sounded like it was going to be torn off its hinges as she pushed it open and descended down the front steps of the home. The demon was already stalking off into the night. She stoically moved up to Rose and took the paper from her hand and started to crumble it into a ball. "Not happening." She told her gently and dropped it on the floor. Violet took out her phone and glanced at her, "Shall I call the police to alert them of a stalker?"

Angel had been so focused, ready to attack as soon as one made the first move, that Niko had scared the crap out of her. She flinched and almost turned on him as he jumped beside her. He was supposed to go check out the other three, why was he here? "I had it under control."She said through gritted teeth quietly. She wouldn't admit it, but she was kind of glad she had some help at the moment. It would have been a tough fight alone and Nikolaus was a freak of nature. The guy immediately proceeded to laugh and taunt the bloodsuckers. She had been nudging him to stop being so serious all the time and she couldn't help but smirk a little. So he wasn't such a stick in the mud after all.

He referred to her as a demon out of hell, which she appreciated the compliment. Though, it was ironic that he was the one baring his fancy new teeth. "Yeah. The devil himself took one look at me and peed his pants. Just like your buddy did in the alleyway a few minutes ago. The devil had me sent back here along with shark-boy."She added snarkily. Nikolaus was not the type to have seen a movie as immature as Sharkboy and Lavagirl, but she wanted to drop the reference anyway. The vampires were caught off guard enough that he was able to stab and kill one without barely breaking a sweat. After the success with Angel, they, of course, tried to pile on even more abilities on the next person. While Angel had inhumane speed and agility, Nikolaus had immense strength and superhuman senses. Vampires never expected one of them to have the kind of strength he had and he could basically rip them apart. He was one of the best hunters they had and was stupidly perfect. She couldn't help but roll her eyes. "Fucking show-off."

"What are you two? Angel loved it when they asked this dumb question. It was amazing that at this point, they still couldn't figure out how the hell they pulled it off. She adjusted her grip on her swords and fixated on a vampire. Time and time again, the bloodsuckers proved themselves to be nothing but disgusting, cruel creatures. They were pure evil and she did not even feel an ounce of guilt ridding them from the Earth.

"We're your worst nightmare."

Oh God. You dork. She gave a sideways glance at Nikolaus as he delivered the cliche of a line. It would be better to make fun of him later. Though she was pissed he was stealing her glory here, she'd let him have his moment and let him think he was cool for the moment. He must have thought he was so clever delivering it. She watched as he proceeded to crack a vampire's head against the wall. "Yeesh."She commented as he locked eyes with her. He finally declared that the others were hers. "Uh! They were all mine. I had it under control as I said! "

Angel immediately launched herself forward at one vampire and speedily swerved over to strike the one next to him, that had been clearly planning to attack her while she struck his buddy, taking him by surprise as she drove two blades through his body faster than he could properly react, using the strength he had propelled himself at her against him. The blades went deep into his shoulderblade and into his stomach. She drove them downward, making him scream out in pain as she pulled them out and propelled herself into a cart-wheel to try to get distance before the other vampire attacked, but alas he was ready and newly enraged by the death of his friends. The other one bit into her neck and she yelped out in pain. Angel stabbed her swords backward into him as he gripped her with strength. She used his strength to root her body down as she stabbed straight through his torso in an X-formation as if she was sheathing them. He bit deeper viciously in his pain but let loose of his grip. Her knees unbuckled and she slid to her knees on the concrete. Her hand immediately went over her neck wound, wincing as she felt her blood start to leak through the cracks between her fingers.

Angel glanced up at him and winked, "Yeah. I'm pretty impressive. Don't leave your mouth hanging open too much." She knew he was well used to her and probably did not care, but she figured someone had to up her ego. She climbed to her feet, keeping her hand over her wound casually and trying not to bring attention to it. "You're welcome for letting you have some fun. I could have killed them all before you got here but I was generous." Angel was put on a joking tone as she spoke. He knew she was thankful and wasn't one to admit it out loud. "Hopefully, Sean or Oliver checked out the other mess." She took her phone out and began glancing at the group chat. "Sean said he's on it. We should go check on him."

She had a feeling Nikolaus was going to chastise her any moment now. Being one of the youngest hunters, Angel was used to people speaking condescendingly to her. She hoped he wouldn't ask; she knew if she told him she was interested in locating Viet-Et-Mort since no one would tell her where it was, he'd think she was crazy. Hunters rarely got out of there alive and there were thousands of them, but still, Angel wanted to know. She wanted to prepare to kill Desiree. It was the least she could do for her family and all the humans who had been hurt and deserved justice.
Hi I was wondering if their would be room for one more? I was thinking of a punk rocker vampire girl to create.

Risa had been silent during the reactions of the others, trying to decide how she felt about it all. She felt guilty for thinking so badly of another fairy but Elthrael was definitely untrustworthy if anything. Elsea and Kyran seemed angry about it. However, it was Dionaea's reaction that shocked her. She had been acting very strange. Her gaze locked on the wine glass and she sighed. The poor dear must have been hurting to ask for something like that so early. Risa was appreciative of Kyran's concern but when she opened her mouth to go into what happened, she found it difficult to speak about. Dionaea had told her she didn't have to, and Risa appreciated that.

"Whatever he did do to cause you to feel this way.. he can rot for!"

When Dionaea started to push away, Risa worriedly walked after her. She gave her privacy but stayed outside the restroom to make sure her friend was okay. She wanted badly to do more to help her friend but she couldn't imagine what she was going through. They needed to all take good care of her at this time. Once they returned to the table, she had paid once everyone was done with their meal and she led the group outside after giving Dionaea some water. There were clothing stores nearby, so she led them to one and gestured to the group to go in browse. "I am so very sorry for creating such a disturbance at your lunch. Please forgive me. I'll come to join you all soon, I'd like to enjoy the air for some time. " She looked at Elsea, whispering to her. "Please look after Dionaea and cheer her up if you can, sweetie."

Risa was not in a shopping mood for once in her life. She flew up to sit upon the edge of the overarching roof of the shop. There were just too many things to think about. The Elthrael situation was something she pushed out of her mind for now. The humans and Dionaea's family were now what plagued her mind. Every moment that went by, could be a moment that an innocent human could be losing their life. And who knew what kind of pain Dionaea's family was suffering! She needed to be more helpful and halt her selfish actions. There had to be something she could do to help. After all, she and Dionaea had been bystanders as the elves had summoned the humans and now shouldered the blame. Risa worried deep down that it was her fault and she had dragged Dionaea into it. There was no use for her to sit here and cry about it all. All she could do now was do the best she could to fix things.

Time:Dusk
Location: Leblanc House

Felix had hustled back to his cousins’ house as fast as he could, only stopping once he reached the driveway. He paused and rummaged through his satchel for his keys. Well, that’s what it appeared like to nosey Mrs. Hatch across the street - he’d seen her curtains twitch. His eyes were actually closed as he focused on the wards he’d placed around the house. They were fine. No signs of anything untoward, although he’d check his ‘log’ once inside. He breathed a sigh of relief and grabbed his keys from his back pocket to quickly bustle into the house.

“VEEEEEEEEE!” His shout echoed around the large house.

“Did you get my message?” He dumped his bag and keys on the sideboard and quickly unlocked his spell on the drawer below muttering “Aperi.” He slipped out a normal looking logbook that wouldn’t look out of place in any waiting room and ran his finger down the column with today’s date. Only him, his cousins, the postman, and some standard message spells had passed over their boundary today. Felix was proud of the enchantment on the book - a bastardized form of cogitation scriba, woven with an identification spell and linked to his cingo terminus that kept a log of all movement in and out of the house. His finger had smudged the fresh ink on the newly added time of his return and left him sucking the ink off his finger as he replaced the logbook in the drawer with a spoken spell “sera.”

Violet glanced up as she finished putting the chicken parms in the oven. Felix was home and he was shouting like a neanderthal across the house. She smirked, rolling her eyes. He had a way of announcing his arrival. She then whispered under her breath, “Inde rem hanc adducite.” . A cup of steaming tea appeared in her hands, which she supported on her palm while holding the handle of the mug with her other hand. She then moved into the foyer as he was putting the logbook back in its draw, her voice soft and mellow as she spoke, ” Hello, dear. I did get your message. I was hoping you could spill the tea on our new friend in town. “ She gently set the cup in his hand with a smile.”Dinner’s almost ready. I hope you like Italian.”

Her cousin’s shoulder visibly relaxed as the tea was thrust into his hands and he followed her into the kitchen. Violet made a great cuppa but he was never fully certain of what she added to it… Nevertheless, he sipped gratefully as he explained what he’d seen. “He must be the oldest warlock I’ve ever encountered. I caught a glimpse of original Latin in his writing before the spell took over so he could even be from before Judas.”
He closed just eyes and nestled closer to the steam from his cup. “But it was mostly the way he looked at me. It was a hard, piercing stare.” Mind still tired from his workweek, he turned to look at his younger cousin. “I’ll let the coven know but I really can’t be bothered with anything else this evening.” He took another deep gulp of tea. Seriously, what does she put in this? “Are we still going out?”

“Sounds like he’s powerful. We must let them know as soon as possible in case he doesn’t have our best interests in mind.” Violet replied to him as she was taking the chicken parm out of the oven. She began to make plates out, putting the pasta as the side. ” We can still go out. I think Rose is on her way home as we speak so maybe she can join us. Anywhere in particular in mind?” She asked. The plate for her father she wrapped up for him to enjoy upon arriving home, the same for Rose’s. She placed Felix’s plate in front of him to decide if he wanted to eat it now. She began to eat hers nonetheless.

Taking out her phone, she then examined her texts. Giggling at the first one, she responded:

” In that case, I’ll have to come in your next shift to hear some. Get home safe!

Felix dove onto the plate as Violet spoke, his recent pastry and encounter done nothing to curb his appetite. Anyway, he needed to line his stomach. “Okay,” he managed to mumble between mouthfuls, “I’ll send a message to BR then and jump in the shower.” He scooped up his plate, and with a quick peck on his cousin’s cheek, he leaped up the stairs, only to quickly scurry halfway back down. “Thanks for dinner!” he shouted back into the kitchen, where at his behest the utensils started to wash themselves and his shoulder bag floated back up the stairs behind him.

30 minutes later an ephemeral barn owl had taken flight from Felix’s bedroom window, his plants were watered and he himself was showered and changed. He hadn’t even flirted with anyone since moving to Ember Grove over 6 months ago, but tonight that was going to change. Hopefully. Maybe. We’ll see.

As Angel slunk out of the alleyway slowly, her gaze fell upon a girl who had fallen to the floor. She paused, considering helping her up, but someone beat her to it. Angel wasn't sure where he had come from. She began to move around the edge of the building, narrowing her gaze to try to get a better look at the two as they exchanged words. The female was wearing outdated clothes and the male had a certain regalness to his manner. It was possible they were both vampires. Angel often bragged about having a vamp-dar. They were just too easy to pick out sometimes. Unfortunately, she could not hear their conversation from her spot. To make matters worse, there was another guy approaching the club in a peculiar fashion. His suit was no doubt expensive and he did not fit in at all. She saw him muttering but she couldn't hear him from her spot. Maybe the other two could if they were vampires and he knew only they could. This all looked suspicious.

Angel craned her neck to glance around the edge of the building. The vampire was out of sight but she was sure of the way he went. He was hurt and weak so he wouldn't get too far. He'd heal soon surely. She quickly took out her phone and went to her message app. Scanning through her messages, she picked out the hunter group chat. Commander Trotter had been assigning hunters into 5 person squads so that they'd all have each other to contact in an emergency or to work together in case a large scale battle broke out. There was a firm preference for them to go out in at least pairs, but Angel hadn't reached out to work with any of them yet. They had to also leave their location tracking on in the group, which Angel hated since it drained her battery. Their group only had four people at the moment. Apparently, since they had some of their best experiments in the group, they needed to have the best of the best. One guy had come all the way from Sweden and could vanish into smoke. Angel wasn't sure she believed that one. The other two, Sean and Niko, were hard-working and very skilled.

Hey. There are three very strange people outside the Pit. I gotta follow a dangerous vampire right now, so if you guys are out and about, check out the Addams family.

She finished her text and walked casually from the alley, not giving the three any looks at all as she did. It was possible they were just weird humans, but it was better safe than sorry. Angel didn't want anyone to die because she left without stopping them. Once a bit more out of sight, she started to bolt in the direction. She came to an intersection in the road, looking both ways with a sigh. Maybe she had been stalled too long. Angel sighed, looking around for any signs, and luckily spotted a drop on blood on the road to the left. Moving over to it, a trail of small blood stains seemed to be going down the road. Angel followed it down until she started to hear faint voices. She moved into an alleyway and pressed against the wall.

The voices seemed to be getting louder. They were coming this way.

"She wasn't a human, she was too fast." The vampire from before's voice reached her ears, his voice exasperated. He seemed frustrated that no one was hearing him out.

"Oh relax. We'll explain it all soon. "Another male voice answered him and started to laugh maniacally after a pause, "Come out, girl. We know you're here..."

Seriously? It was a set-up all along. She bit her lip to keep herself from cursing under her breath. How many were there? Three? Four?
If they snuck up on her, she was doomed. She was going to have to face them head-on.

Angel moved into the middle of the road, her swords drawn. She held her breath and kept a steady expression as she watched the vampires move toward her. There were four, including the injured one.

"You've been hunting us in our favorite buffet!"The male exclaimed with a grin, "Not very nice of you. " The fourth one hung back cautiously, wary of her. The other three did not seem worried. At any moment, they could be around her, circling like vultures. Angel had to judge their every movement from now on very carefully.

Elsea and Kyran had both seemed to notice her tearing up, so she sniffled and wiped her tears hastily. "Elthrael seemed to be confessing love to me possibly this morning in the most peculiar way, much too affectionate with his hands. It confused me a lot since I have not seen him so long nor did I know him much... but I guess part of me attached to it anyway. I guess he was lying, he didn't even say goodbye." She moved her utensil around her custard as she spoke.

Risa worried she was being selfish and delaying her meal. She had been foolish to put so much weight on this. It was best dropped. "I don't want to keep you all from eating." Risa tried to push her feelings back and began to eat her food, but her the wheels of her brain kept turning. If he was exiled from the River Kingdom, had he been lying about being from somewhere different where they kissed in greeting? Risa furrowed her brows, feeling mixed emotions. She rushed her meal and began to take out Amas from her pouch to pay for everyone.
