Continuing to stand there, Simone didn't have to wait long until she was answered. The rowdy crowd grew with every minute and she was getting ansty to talk to people, since she felt like she hadn't had an actual decent conversation in decades, but of course there was the fact that she didn't actually know anyone here, let alone what to talk about. She never really enjoyed being alone, especially for long periods of time, it made her kind of nervous really, so she'd always semmed to surround herself with people. But now that they had moved, she couldn't exactly do that anymore, so she guessed being here was her attempt to get comfortable again. Now whether it was working or not, she'd have to see, but she had hope that she'd manage. And it was usually that that got her through the really lonely times.

So, as she waited those few moments, a guy dressed as a construction worker tapped her on the shoulder, startling her just a tad.

“So, I heard you were looking for me.”

Simone turned around quickly, a playful smile on her face. Eyyy," she started, placing her hands on her hips and leaning forward a bit. So you're Kavi, hmm?" she asked, giving him the once-over. He was maybe a few inches shorter than she, so she had to look down on him slightly. Stepping back, she noticed he was holding the hand of a woman who had fiery red hair, that of which Simone couldn't help but appreciate.

"Okay, so first, let me just say how fuckin' cool your hair is," she pointed to the girl. She didn't think she could ever dye her own hair, but gave credit to those that did; especially a color so flamboyant.
"And second, I just wanted to introduce myself I suppose, given that you don't exactly know me, and here I am. At your party," she paused, tilting her head. I guess I also needed someone to talk to," Simone added honestly. She was many things, but a wallflower she was not.

"But anyhow, I'm Simone," she introduced, mostly to Kavi, but also to the other unnamed girl who stood next to him. "New in town and dressed as Snoop Dogg," giving a playful laugh.

She still hadn't decided what it was that she was going to do at this party; it was kind of a decision the young woman had made rather quickly, and drinking was always an option, but she also wanted to be able to drive home as well and maybe not get a DUI. That would be preferable. Plus, she may like to be around people all the time, but she didn't like to rely on them either. She valued her independence, so she decided she'd have to do something else.

At first, Merlou only knew Rachel as a friend of a friend. She was always kind of there, but she never really worked herself up to talk to her because she would've felt bad since Rachel always seemed so busy and Merlou didn't want to interrupt her. So it went on like this for some time until the school started up with their plays, in which that was the moment she actually met Rachel. Of course, Merlou definitely had the potential to play a part, but she was too worried about messing something up hat she worked backstage, helping build and paint the sets. It wasn't until she met the acting crew that she was finally able to talk to her, and after that, she started seeing more of Rachel and soon became friends with her.

• Body Type: She has a thicker build and is quite proud of it. She used to be insecure about her weight, especially when she was younger since it was easy for her to gain weight, but she's happily come to accept herself overtime.
• Clothing Style: Merlou tends to stick with a more stylish, casual style. Nothing too flashy, but she does like to look good and feel good. Her outfits mostly contain ripped jeans and light, flowy shirts, with the occasional crop top. She doesn't really own any super extravagant outfits, but she enjoys trying them on in stores and such.
• Makeup Wise: Merlou doesn't tend to wear a whole bunch of makeup, but she certainly will if she's feeling up to it, though she's always liked doing other's makeup as well.
• Tattoos, Scars, and/or Piercings: She has one singular tattoo located in her right wrist, and that's just a small infinity symbol with a small "M" under it.

Caring and friendly towards everyone, Merlou is a prime example of someone you'd call a "gentle giant." She is extraverted and loves to be around people, very much disliking being alone, so she surrounds herself with those she can talk to. Supportive and believes everyone deserves a second chance, Merlou is more than willing to be a shoulder to cry on; she is the type of person you can call at three in the morning and she'll be over in five minutes despite what's going on. She's reliable and will provide moral and emotional support, along with a good cry and a hug.

Highly sensitive and very emotionally open herself, she takes critism to heart and will beat herself up over it for days. She doesn't like worrying other people with her problems, so she keeps the deeper feelings bottled up, but she doesn't mind listening to other's problems and giving her all to support then. She's basically just a human teddy bear.

♡Upbringing Synopsis:

Born to Zenaida and David Zenon, Merlou grew up in a wealthy household with her eight other siblings. Being the eldest daughter, she had two older brothers, Zarion and Aldrich, she felt as if it were her job to take care of her other siblings. Their parents were often away from home for business, since they both owned a popular business together. They did have a babysitter, but ultimately, it was Merlou who did most of the taking care of.

Merlou was pretty close with her family until around middle school, when she had realized she was gay. She did end up coming out to her family, and it's not like they were unsupportive, they just kind of treated it like a joke. Like it was a phase that she was going to grow out of, so to make them happy, she wen't along with it and didn't bring it up again, though it made her very uncomfortable whenever they would mention it. Her parents were the only people she ever shyed away from telling, only because she didn't wish to make them disappointed in any way. She just wanted to make everyone happy, though she still feels really bad about it. She wants to make everyone happy but she hates lying, so through most of highschool, she felt very conflicted, one of the major things she fought with herself about.

After high school, Merlou decided to become a nurse, wanting to help as many people as she could, since that's always been an aspiration of hers. Not a lot of dramatic things have happened in her life except her disconnection with her family, only because she felt extremely uncomfortable being around them, especially since they've always pressured her to find herself a husband. She's just never had the guts to seriously tell them to stop, so instead, she distanced herself away from them.

When she got the message from Rachel inviting her to the island, Merlou immediately accepted. She's always admired Rachel, plus going to a fancy island with a whole bunch of people sounded like a paradise. Merlou never really had a whole bunch of money herself, refusing to take any from her parents, so she basically lived on her own, so it wasn't often she got to treat herself, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. Though she did hesitate a little _{a lot}, because she didn't want to take up space for others that may have wanted to come, she eventually said yes.

♡Misc:

• She's a terrible liar. It's very obvious when she's trying.
• Cries over every sad part in a movie. Don't blame her, she's very sensitive.
• Has seen The Ttitanic five times and knows most of the lines. Also loves movies like The Notebook and Pearl Harbor
• Can't cook but tries her best.
• Refuses for anyone to pay for her. She feels extremely bad when people pay for things for her, but she would buy an ocean for someone else.
