The Legend of the Sunken City

WANTED: Warriors are needed to explore the labyrinth in the center of town. Fame and fortune await for discovering and recording anything and everything you find in this hellish maze. Apply at the Warriors guild.



Welcome to Silvercove; a small, but busy town located on an island in the middle of the sea. The citizens are nice, and the view of the ocean if even nicer. But if it weren't for the giant tree full of monsters and mysterious secrets, no one would even dream of coming here!

Warriors from around the world risk their lives for fame and glory. But many have failed to get passed the first level of the maze. Monsters litter the ancient tree, killing anything that goes near their home. The deeper inside the labyrinth you go, the more dangerous it becomes.

Inside the labyrinth is supposed to be a lost city from thousands of years ago. People would kill to discover this ancient city. Legends tell of an ancient beast that lurks at the bottom of the labyrinth. If the beast rises up to the surface, a curse will be unleashed and all will be destroyed. But those are just rumors, right? Even if they are, the town is on edge.

Even after everything I told you, are you still up to the task, brave warrior? Will you discover the hidden secrets of Silvercove?

This is a tabletop RP similar to Etrian Odyssey 3 (an old video game for the DS). I will be the GM of course. A maximum of no more than 3 or 4 people to this RP. If only a couple are willing, I might have to play someone myself. No dice is required. Just people who are willing to dungeon crawl through a oceanic labyrinth and discover ancient secrets.

Corrine jumped and squeaked. Someone found her?! She turned around to see that it was just Divo. She tried to stop her beating heart, but it was no use.

"Oh, its just you. You scared me! What are you doing here, anyway? Do you like coming to the beach too?" she asked.

Divo seemed to be in a peppy mood. Did something happen last night? Corrine sat down daintily on a nearby rock. She couldn't tell him that she was spying. He won't trust her anymore. Not that he trusted her too much anyways. But she needed to be more cautious. Curiosity always leaded to trouble with her.

The Battle of Sea Salt Bay

Corrine woke up to something rather heavy on her chest. She couldn't breathe, let alone move. She squirmed around until something fluffy brushed her nose. The object jumped off of her and instead layed next to her. She opens her eyes to see Sebastian standing there with a mouse in his mouth.

"Sebby! You jerk!" She crosses her arms and growls angrily. But one look into the fat cats eyes melted her heart.

"Oh, I can never stay mad at you!" She hugs her cat tightly and swings him around. He hisses and runs off. Not without scratching her face, of course. She quickly rushes to the bathroom to wash her wound. A large red scratch wound was across her cheek. Serves her right for squeezing the life out of her cat.

Corrine got dressed, gathered her things, and decided to take a ride down to the beach. Maybe she could explore somewhere new. She parked her bike near the beach, putting a special lock on it. She had never been under the boardwalk before. She ran over to the wooden poles, only to hide behind a rock. She heard voices, but didn't know where they were coming from. Corrine stood there, hoping no one would find her.

@TwelveOf8 Fun Fact: Before deciding on a character to play as in this, I was going to play as Klaus, the rich german exchange student with a secret agenda. I decided to go with Corrine because she seemed to fit in more the characters around her. (50's and all) Klaus ended up being Corrine's fiancé.
