I'm working under the assumption that you not telling me otherwise, as I requested in my previous post, means that you want to post IC again before I do anything else, @rocketrobie2. Am I right in this assumption, and if so, do you have some kind of loose ETA on said post?

I'm sorry too for going MIA. You'd assume right but I can't give your a time on that post. I think I might be going on a bit of a hiatus from the RPs for a bit. I've lost most of my jam for writing in general. I'm kosher with Nigel getting puppeted around until I come back (I do plan on coming back, I still love this game).

Name:
Kevin Nogliny

Favourite School Subject:
Shop class

Favourite Food:
Fried chicken (KFC specifically)

Theme Song:

Why They Fight:
Why not? Kevin's been a pretty rough guy since he was little and tussling has been a great pass time.

Background/Personality:
Kevin's mother and father met while his dad, an army man, was stationed in Japan. His dad was leaving the army pretty soon after his son was born but things didn't work out with his mom and the two split, Kevin's dad taking custody of the baby and bringing him to be raised in the states. Most of Kevin's life was spent in the land of the free and home of the brave but when Kevin's dad got another job as a private security consultant based out of Japan, the two moved back to the land of the rising sun and Kevin was enrolled in the new school.

Luckily Kevin's dad wanted the boy to keep in touch with the other half of his heritage and made sure to teach him enough Japanese to now finish out his schooling in this new land. There was definitely a lot of prejudice against the new kid from far away at Kevin's new school but being able to handle himself in a scuffle let Kevin build up enough of a reputation to not be picked on for his accent though this left him with little to no real friends. During this time Kevin got really into his bike, a stand-in for the camaraderie he lost moving here. Eventually he found some friendship in the Sarayashiki gang and built up some semblance of respect from his other peers.

Calling Kevin a delinquent is a bit of a stretch to begin with. While he has no qualms throwing down at the drop of a hat, Kevin is mostly an easy going, upbeat guy and isn't wholeheartedly opposed to following the rules when it suits him. He doesn't break the rules because he can, he does so when when it's in direct opposition to what he wants to do.

@Kale19 Wasn't there a google Doc or something for the Project Redemption or am I just making that up? Might have my wires crossed.
Nigel gave a simple nod before moving away from the loose-jawed man and towards the tiny creatures holding yet another message. Nigel could almost feel the tension coming from the other hunter and figured he should take any excuse to remove himself from the interaction. Tonight was not one marked by good first impressions but he hoped things would take a turn for the better; someway, somehow. On his way over, Nigel's gaze was drawn to the other hunter's rummaging and the chest they had exhumed. Perhaps they would be more open to chatting though with the amount of blood covering them Nigel wasn't sure he had the stomach for it at the moment. Vials were one thing but blood drenched garb was another.

Crouching down, Nigel read over the message and once more did not understand what exactly it meant. He briefly considered asking his new friend about this message but decided against it. Instead Nigel decided to follow the advice of the message and look at the odd looking lantern that was held aloft from the ground in front of him. Tonight was a strange night for sure but Nigel was counting his blessings that it had at least been a safe one thus far though a part of him itched for a bit of action.
Here's my WIP!

Are you feeling lucky punk? Well obviously not that lucky as you rush to find something to defend yourself against what is probably another creature of the night. Creeping as fast as the two of you can, you and Lola make your way into the locker room. Most of the lockers are open, devoid of anything very useful but something under some clutter catches your eye. Sifting through the carnage while Lola keeps watch, you come across a police baton. Not exactly what you were hoping for but better than nothing at the moment. If you wanted you could try bashing your way into one of the still shut lockers. This will almost certainly bring attention to your location with no certain pay off of a better weapon.

The sound is still relatively far off so you decide to...

-Begin heading out of the police station.
-Bash open a locker.

Nigel turned slightly to look to where the Hunter had nodded, picking up on his desire to keep things on the down-low. The woman outside seemed harmless enough but that context he now looked at her in made him doubt his own perception. To keep things from looking too suspicious and wanting to find out a little more about the man in front of him, Nigel turned back to inquire, a bit louder in case whoever Torquil wished to keep out of the loop was listening in.

"I'd like to apologize in advance for my lack of tact with this question but is your-" Nigel motioned a hand around his own mouth before returning it to his side "...alright?" Nigel asked. He hadn't noticed the odd movement of the man's jaw until the second word 'Saint' was muttered to him. The mountain of a man was unwilling to believe for the moment that it was a permanent affliction though this was more so just to save face in his own mind. If that was true, the marquis would feel like the fool for his previous comment. Manners make the man but Nigel knew deep down somewhere that it was unfair and hurtful to be made the fool of for one's physical differences, his eyes briefly glancing down to his own large frame before regaining eye contact.
Yeah, it's a real fun free-form system so hopefully if nothing else it got someone else curious enough to look into the system.
