I suppose I'll start with the basics. I'm a female, age 22, married, mother, from and currently living in the US.

Started rping about 8 years ago but haven't been doing much writing in the past 3 years.

Ridiculously unpredictable schedule, nonexistent motivation, professional procrastinator, tired mom.

@omerta Might be good. I'd like to keep it going somehow.

@Thorned Hammer Hopefully that was an okay response. Older Rin wouldn't have even stopped him, she probably would have been the one doing the executing. But she's not quite to that level of jaded... yet.
Richard caught the tail end of the scene and as much as he wanted to go help help he stood his ground. There could be more and he needed to be alert to that. Bringing his rifle up he scanned through the trees while holding his position. It was easy to sense the sudden tensing of the civilians. Even as exhausted as the group was they weren't blind to what was happening.

Rin calmly gripped Marcus's wrist of the hand that held the gun to the young man's head. Though she was winded her demeanor was calm. "Not here, not like this." She said sternly. She was conflicted about whether or not to kill him. He was the enemy, he attacked her with the obvious intention of killing her... But as she listened to his horrified begging and saw the tears stream down his face she was forced to remember he was human just like them. UKD soldiers were rarely recruited voluntary, many having been picked out and trained since they were young teenagers. This boy could likely be doing this just to stay alive, not actually believing in the cause he fights for. No one but him could know for sure one way or the other though. Simply put he was a risk to them if left alive.

Regardless of her own feelings or views she was aware enough to realize they had audience of scared and traumatized civilians, not to mention Tess. These people weren't as cold and hard as her and Marcus, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Executing a young man in front of them all wouldn't help their situation.
But seriously GM person, we need something to do.
@omerta Just stir up some drama by punching someone or something. xD
Blah blah blah! I know, it takes forever, but I did warn you guys.

My trip along the road was, thankfully, uneventful. I passed a few here and there but all kept to themselves and didn't pose a problem. As I entered the village I was reminded of the state that many people on the outskirts of the kingdoms live in. I've been blessed by being able to live in the capital, but I haven't completely forgotten what life is like outside. On some of our more extended hunting trips we'd commonly see places like this but there was something different here. It's sad, dark, and desperate. Not to mention the uneasy gutt feeling these mountains give me.

With no better idea of where to start looking I head to the local Inn and Pub, perhaps I can catch some gossip of this man if nothing else. When I enter I do my best not to look out of place. I don't hesitate at the door looking for what to do or where to go, rather I walk directly to the bar and take a seat. "I'll have a pint." I said to the bar maid when she approached me. Upon getting my drink I take a sip then glance around discreetly.

They rule all of the underground... As in everything below the ground not all illegal activities.

Well, maybe some of those too.
