She knows after listening to their conversation the dark skinned girl believes she knows something but she doesn't; not that it matters. Sh hears that she will not be believed and if they allow her to then the girl with the knife will harm her.

Venus moves stealthy through the store she's sure she saw someone enter and nearly jumps out of her skin when a soft voice tells her that they are in the Manager's office so she picks up a can of hair spray thinking she can use it like pepper spray. As she gets closer the manager's office door opens and out steps what at first she thinks what might be a girl till she looks closer.
Lilith felt more lost than she'd ever felt in her entire life as she watched all the others make friends so quickly and adapt to this new life her grandmother had told her that she must. As a result she just did as she often did when her dad was the center of attention and faded into the background.
But toady she had to fight and even though a part of her wanted to hide she did and was quickly humiliated
Des Loved the fact that the toy they let her use didn't feel pain and that she could do things to it that in sparring she dare not with a living being. She gouged eyes, slashed at it's crotch; she fought like and animal but a clever one and when it seemed she'd lose instead of surrender she let herself go becoming a snarling animal.

Martha had her observation post finally set up an had added 5 large TV as monitors to 5 sets of professional news cameras and pointed them in the 4 compass directions and one tilted down to view the streets before the Hotel.
Next came two large balloons with strobes suspended below them to attract attention tied off to antenna on the Hotel roof.
She hated how it ruined the decorating in her new penthouse home but was pleased that it now gave her the ability spot any activity for miles around so that she could know when someone new showed up if they moved across the screens
