Don't worry, it does start where you want it to. I just didn't get it at 1st. It probably won't be like that for my character though. Goliaths have a thing for competition and fair play, and 4 men kicking 1 punching bag that is already lying on the floor is neither competitive nor fair in my opinion.

I now own a mastiff named Chomper among other things.
Just so you know, guys, don't worry about carrying treasure further than about 100 feet past the dungeon entrance. Why not? I decided to buy an elephant and a cart.
I didn't know we could buy stuff before the start of the game.
