Men of the Internet! TRIPLE N IS OVER! The month was long and the challenge hard. To those who faltered, I wish you better luck next year. And to those who stayed strong, I say... enjoy your freedom!

How far did the Kraken get from the fishing hamlet before reaching this point?
"Suit yourself." Holland said once the Sheriff had given his answer. "Come find me when you can and I'll see about gettin' you that drink." As he watched Dalton go, Holland's usually stoic and inexpressive face tinged somewhat with worry. Though the Sheriff had tried to hide it, Holland saw something in Dalton's eyes that the young gunslinger had rarely seen before. Fear. Holland had watched this man charge a machine gun nest with nothing but a six shooter. During their days with the Texas Reds, he and Haskell would stand in full on bullet storms when all others had ducked for cover. And when someone needed to serve as live bait for a super mutant behemoth that had been terrorizing the roads in the early days of Independence, he said nothing. He simply mounted up and rode off into the behemoth's lair. If something had a man like Sheriff Dalton scared, it was something to worry about. Holland filed that worry away for the time being though. There was nothing he could do for now, and if he worried to much he might make a scene and set the whole town to worrying. So instead, he put his face back the way it was and turned to Grognak. "I hear tell Ol' Duffy managed to get in some of the really good stuff for today." Holland said. "Wanna go see if there's any truth to that?"
From the bridge of the Kraken, Talogan watched as the second fleet he had seen today made port at the fishing hamlet. Save for one. A single orcish war vessel had peeled off from the rest of them and was now in pursuit of the Kraken. For a time, it looked to be gaining on them. But a single gust of wind courtesy of Nyx was able to put more than enough distance between them for a nice clean geta-. "Captain! Storm's coming!" Hurrik called from the crow's nest. Talogan looked towards the bow of the ship and saw the storm that lay ahead, dark clouds swirling, thunder rumbling, lighting cracking the sky. As the crew looked to their captain for orders, they would see a zealous look appear on his face. The religious fanaticism he was known for bubbled to the surface as he stared intently at the approaching maelstrom. For though his crew looked ahead and saw a storm, Talogan looked ahead and saw a sign from the Mighty One himself.

"He is watching." Talogan said. "Maglubiyet is watching. And he is displeased." Talogan then turned his gaze away from the storm and looked to his crew. "Mr. Fishbones! Hard to starboard!" Talogan ordered. "All hands prepare for battle! Ready your weapons! Hoist the black flag! Tie on your lifelines and ensure they are secure! And prepare the oil! The Mighty One has his eyes upon us, and I'll be damned before let him see naught but a display of cowardice from the warriors of this ship!" With that said, Talogan moved across the vessel to where the lifelines were kept and tied one of them around his waist. Once he had made sure the lifeline was secure, Talogan went to stand at the prow as the ship turned away from the storm and towards the orcs. As the warship came into view, Talogan recited a prayer in the goblin tongue that formed a Shield of Faith around him in preparation for combat.

I was wondering, do the pirates of Keratia use the Black Spot or some other kind of symbol to convey death threats to those who incur their wrath?
Unfortunately, I will not be able to participate in this game. Best wishes to those who remain.
As Angus watched the kobold and the masked man flee, he knew he was too far away be of much assistance on that matter. So instead, Angus decided to get a head start on the looting to make up for that sack of gold he tossed aside in a rage earlier. Angus moves to the nearest door and opens it. Judging by the burnt papers on the table, it appeared that the hooded figure's dislike of loose ends had also claimed the lives of innocent stationery. Seeing a pair of chests next to the table, Angus moved to investigate.

@Expolar
Angus will be opening the aforementioned door this turn. Is there anything particularly notable in the room behind it?
@Expolar
Is the door in square D9 unlocked?
Holland's eye narrowed irritably as he watched Mr. Shaw walk away. Once the ghoul was out of sight, Holland turned to Grognak and nodded in thanks. "I appreciate you steppin' in the way you did just now, big guy." Holland said. "Shaw ain't nothin' but trouble, especially to the law 'round these parts. Steer clear of the guy if you can help it." Holland glanced in the direction in which Mr. Shaw had vanished before looking back at the super mutant. "But I reckon I've said enough about him." Holland said with a shrug of his shoulders. "There is a celebration on, and I'm sure the mayor would want us to enjoy it even now. You want somethin' to drink? I'm buyin'." After hearing the super mutant's answer, Holland turned to Sheriff Dalton. "How 'bout you, Sheriff?" Holland asked. "You feel like grabbin' a drink right now?"
