@HEAVY METAL Ironwolf is going to be in trouble when Estraexir learns what he did.

Name: Estraexir Bloodworth
age: 57
bio: Estraexir wasn’t the most athletic of the Bloodworth line. Luckily the Bloodworths weren’t chosen to rule for their athleticism, or even their intellect. The Bloodworth line was chosen because they were a powerful bloodline of sorcerers. The people seeing it as a divine right to rule.
Estraexir spent his childhood buried in the study of the mystic arts. Intrigued by their mysteries. As he grew older his fascination grew. He found himself a wife, and had himself a son. Things were going well, and he started leaning away from the mystic arts. Focusing more on his kingdom. Then his son found a commoner wife, he was mad, but held it together. Leaning further into his kingdom. He started to become distant from his wife, as she fell sick. When his wife died, something inside of him snapped. He started fervently studying the dark arts. Driven mad, in an attempt to bring back his wife. During his mad plunge into the void, he discovered an entity. One that would change his life for ever. Any semblance to the pleasant king who he had once been was gone. Replaced by a power hungry tyrant.
role in the story: King of the Invading land.
other(optional):
The entity has taught him how to create a perverted and corrupt version of the philosophers stone, and he has created a staffaround it. Also still working on finding images for the rest of the artifacts he has collected over the years of his research.
Almost as if on cue, the doors to the ballroom swung open. “Forgive the intrusion, your highness.” He said as he waded into the room. “I assure you, none of your men are dead, merely…” he paused, as if thinking for the best word. Sure he had rendered some unconscious, but had also used illusions to distract and trap others. “Incapacitated.” Estraexir finished. He glanced around the room. “My humblest apologies, Lords and Ladies, or whatever your preferred titles may be. I simply request an audience with the king. I assume the message has not yet reached your ears, as I’m sure you did not mean to offend. Speaking king to king of course.”
Estraexir smirked as the guards tried to block his path. “Now is a time for talking. I’m sure the king doesn’t want a full blown war in these trying times.” He motioned for them to step aside, but they did not. “ Evicendo Demonucto,” The wizard king said as he waved his hand in front of the two guards. A thin white line of energy encircled each of their heads. The guards looked at each other puzzled. “Good night,” Bloodworth said as he snapped his fingers. The circles of energy snapped shit and we’re seemingly absorbed into forehead of each of the two guards. Each guards went tense, as their brains were hit with this strange energy. They convulsed for a little bit before going limp.
It was a simple spell. Non-lethal. Just a simple stun spell to put people to sleep. Rather easy to dodge if you knew what was coming. Just move your head out of the circle. As long as the energy didn’t hit your brain, you would be fine. It was an old spell. One he learned in his youth. Turns out it is one of the reasons crowns were made of gold, since the metal could reflect that spell, so royalty would use it as a defense. At least in his home country.
Stepping over the sleeping guards, he made his way up. Estraexir was intent on having a diplomatic meeting with the local king.
Estraexir Bloodworth sat in the cell he was guided to. Still playing the role of the eccentric, bumbling genius, Cornelius Pendergrass. He had been quietly planning his next big step. Aware of the ever present gaze of the guards. The king truely was a cautious fellow.
He drew a circle on the floor of his cell. It was time for these kingdoms to know they were at war.
Slamming his staff into the ground the door slammed open. Two guards snapped around to look at what made the noise. Cornelius stepped out and turned to face them. Slipping a ring off his finger, the visage of the old scholar flickered away, revealing Estraexir. “Tell your King, I’ve come to talk.” He voice was deep, and laced with intent. He was not messing around. It was time for business.
What else is at play? Do other kinds of magic exist in the world? Can werewolves learn to control their transformations?
What do you mean Psychic Gifts?
What is the technology like in this? What tools and weapons does Phoenix Squad have to battle the demon threat?
“I ain’t special.” Kurt said a somber look in his eye. He took a seat. “Drunk father, drug addict mother,” he said matter of factly. “I ain’t special. I ain’t ever been special. I ain’t ever going to be special.” He could feel something building up inside of him. How had Talia spoken so much, but not actually said anything. He still didn’t know where he was, or why he was there.
“In my experience, when an offical tells you, you don’t need a lawyer, you almost always want a lawyer.” He stood up. “Look, you got the wrong guy. I ain’t special, I ain’t gonna have some awakening.” He moved to the door. “Now, can I please get back to my shitty life, living in my shitty trailer, drinking shitty beer?”
“Yeah.” He said sitting back down. “And where is this place?” He looked around. He had been in prison a few times, and this didn’t seem like that. “What is this place?” Part of him wanted to tense up. To fight. To get out of here. Get back to where he was familiar. Though he fought that urge. Knowing that it would only make things worse. Looking around, he knew there must be rooms worse than this.
“I know my rights. I want a lawyer.” He was smart enough to know that when it came to these things, it would be best to seek legal counsel. He hadn’t been to court, and wasn’t charged with anything. Not yet. “Why am I here?”
