"My name is Nozunali, but you can just call me Natalie," Nozunali said, introducing herself back to Ky. "What brought you to this bookstore? Anything you're particularly fond of?"

"How has the day been treating you?" Nozunali asked Ky, making some idle conversation. The diversion was a nice change of pace from her usual daily chores.

Nozunali let out a deep sigh as she finished her regular daily exercises. She may have a frail body, but that was no reason not to stay as fit as she could, and her telekinetic prowess had to be maintained as well. With that out of the way, she began her usual research on the humans' progress of interstellar and faster-than-light travel. They were unfortunately rather primitive compared to her people, but that couldn't really be helped. They had only discovered some poor raw materials to work with, such as iron and coal, and it was unclear whether there would be anything of greater value on Earth. Such was the life of living on a wet rock of a planet.

Her efforts remaining fruitless as usual, Nozunali dressed herself up in a simple black-and-blue dress and set off for her usual bookstore. Perhaps there would be some new masterpieces to discover in there. If not, then it was at least a good idea to meet up with some of the humans wandering about. Humans proved to be quite the diverse species, and she found it interesting to hear what they had to say.

Entering the bookstore, she found it was still getting stocked up. A quick look-around revealed that the books she was looking for were not filled in yet. It seemed like she had arrived earlier than expected. Well, that was fine, she could wait. As she did, she spotted a man walking towards her. She greeted him with a smile and wave. "Hello there," she said to Ky.
Name: Nozunali Grinmsborinith

Nickname: Natalie

Age: 34

Gender: Female

Powers/Skills:
-Telekinesis: considered a genius even by the other members of her race, Nozunali has displayed an incredible talent of the natural gift her people possess. Her abilities range from lifting multiple objects at once, including her own body, as well as generating a powerful telekinetic barrier around her.
-High intellect.
-Proficient technological prowess.

Species: Alien (species currently unknown)

Crush: To be discovered

Relationship: To be discovered

Appearance(s):

As if to offset her incredible strength with telepathy, she was cursed with an abnormally thin and fragile body. Her legs in particular are heavily crippled, forcing her to constantly use her telepathy to move about.

Personality: Nozunali maintains a calm and carefree temperament, preferring to use words rather than violence. However, she is not afraid to use force should the need arise. She tries to get along with others regardless of gender, species, sexuality, or even moral alignment. Inside, however, she holds an eternal sadness as she bears the burden of homesickness.

History: Nozunali was crippled from birth with a weak body, and most of her family assumed she would die early on. Her parents, however, refused to accept that to be her fate and gave her the utmost care in raising her. To everyone's surprise, she turned out ok, and even went as far as to be successful in life with no worry for her physical limitations, her mental strength more than making up for them. She started a company focusing on transportation, and it thrived. As she made a visit on a branch location, however, an accident occurred with a portal experiment. The safety measures took effect, but Nozunali was caught up in the accident, and was engulfed in light before fading into unconsciousness. When she awoke, she found herself on Earth, millions of light-years away from home. The Earth's gravity and atmosphere was a burden on her at first, but she soon acclimated and was able to live comfortably. Still, her goal is to return home one day.

"Amusing" was Michael's first impression of Gilgamesha. She sounded like she had much to tell about the Ascot family, among other things. He wondered how much information he could get out of her. Before he could finish follow that train of thought, however, William came over and promptly fainted. Michael looked over at him for a second, slightly concerned, then determined that he was fine and left him alone.

As Alexander went off to drop William off, Michael returned his attention to Gilgamesha and began to ask her some questions. As he was about to, though, he was hit with a sudden urge to yawn. Michael's mind began to feel a little foggy; perhaps it was his exhaustion finally catching up to him. "I'd love to chat some more, but I think it's about time I got some rest myself. Need to tend to some injuries of mine, too," Michael said to Gilgamesha. "That being said, though, I could do with a ride home."
A djinn civil war? Damn, perhaps I should pay more attention to the djinn since that I have a minor character that's a djinn.

Where should I start to catch up on this?

"I know that this is probably an odd day for your job, but I can't imagine having to deal with your kind of stress every day like this," Michael remarked to Alexander after the excitement seemed to have died down. Michael was glad that he didn't have to do anything this time, at least. They had apparently arrived late, but still in time to see some interesting things, like the "Grail of Corruption" thing that Gilgamesha had. That alone created so many questions Michael wanted to ask, but at the same time, he wasn't sure if he wanted to know the answers to them.

The name "Galbrek Ravenovich" also reminded Michael a little about the guy. Definitely a student at Mephisto, but not someone Michael paid too much attention to. There was only so much info Michael could gather, and some people just took priority over others. Michael knew little about the guy from the beginning, and he figured he should change that, given today's events. Many people today were worth the time to research.

Turning his attention to Gilgamesha, Michael introduced himself while extending a hand for a handshake, "Excuse me, you are Alexander and William's mother, right? My name is Michael Angie. Your sons have proven to be quite... interesting lately."

Michael got out of the car as soon as it stopped, readying his brush for the expected conflict. The wrecked car was more than enough evidence that something chaotic was going on, and the scene that followed was not any better. He tried to determine the correct course of action, but that was proving difficult given how little information he had on the scene right now. Alexander was presumably calling out to the woman directing the chains, which meant that Michael should be supporting her. The one the woman was facing was running away. Michael recognized him as a St. Lucifer student, but nothing else really struck him at the moment. Michael recognized William among the rest of the group present, but not everyone else was as memorable.

In short, there was nothing for Michael to do at the moment. Right now, he would simply keep his eyes open and wait for a chance to respond to something.

Michael took out a can of the self-heating coffee, examining it from top to bottom. Michael wasn't even aware that such a thing existed, and was curious to see how it worked. The instructions were simple enough, and Michael managed to get the cans open and ready to drink without any problems. He handed one to Alexander before taking a swig from his own. Admittedly, Michael didn't like coffee. The bitterness usually kept him away from it, but if he was going to go through another adventure, he wasn't going to be picky about his energy sources. The coffee was warm, but there were also traces of cold within it. It seemed like the heating of the coffee wasn't even. Michael figured that such a device wasn't perfect, but again, he wasn't going to be picky.

Michael nodded occasionally at Alexander's story of his life, listening but not really paying attention. He tuned in when William became the topic. "I wouldn't say King is an alien, but he's certainly eccentric," Michael remarked. "As for threats greater than the Ancient Evil... I wouldn't be surprised. Something's gotta be out there in the world."

"Anyway, I wouldn't worry too much about William," Michael reassured Alexander. "The kid's got the means and the intellect to make things happen; he just needs a step in the right direction to make the best use of them." Michael took another swig of his coffee, making a sour face upon tasting the bitterness. "Or maybe I'm just comparing him to myself. Take it for what you will."
