Pizza is a main course, but is also a pie. Therefore, I can eat pizza as my meal and have another pizza as my dessert.

When I need a left sock, there is none. When I don't need one, there is a surplus. I think the world is toying with me.

Eating a stick of butter is not as fun as it sounds to be.

Bio

I am Searat
Half sea, Half rat, All Aqueous Rodent.

My role playing career is something i consider as a hobby of some sort but as to how long i have been role playing, I would say that i have three to four years under my belt. (Though most of the times I was role playing, they were nothing as serious as this and were more of a means to relieve stress with my friends or test out ideas that came to mind with them.)

As for my preferences to genres of role play, I would have no biases nor specific preferences to any genre and would be able to adapt to the genre as best I can when placed into it.

Some of my hobbies consist of: playing games, surfing the web, walking, bowling, darts, and cooking. I sometimes write and draw things but not as much to consider it to be a serious hobby.

"Did you hear? Apparently the raid was a success but one of our warriors was injured by a thrown spear!" A female goblin with a ponytail said to her group. "No! You ninny! He was riding a boar and was ambushed by a goblin sharp shooter and got three arrows but lived!" A portly goblin said with a net full of small fish and a couple of crabs on his back.
"I heard he got shot by one of those humie bow guns." One said.
Another replied "From what I heard, he got poisoned and went to a deep sleep."
"Yeah and only some sort of magic vegetable can wake him. I do hope he's okay though..."

Edra had done her very best to extract the bolt from Tovo's side and disinfect and seal the wound with as much yellow herb paste and dried Juju leaf wraps she could spare for him. It wasn't much, but at the very least the bolt from his side was gone now and the bleeding had stopped from both inside and outside thanks to her skill. Though the young goblin still lay near motionless and cold to the world. One could mistake him for dead if not for the slow rise and fall of his chest every minute or so. She had hoped the deep sleep hadn't progressed to the point that even she couldn't do anything.

Ed had already had moved away a significant amount of dirt when Asteria and the mother rat had come to help him dig the new cache. She had then suggested that they get the task over with. He offered her an affirming nod before going back to digging. Though, after short while of working, Asteria expressed her opinion of the situation. She had wanted to locate or even dig an escape route as she didn't want this little plot of land to be her final resting place. Ed didn't want to die too but he also couldn't abandon these 'people' who needed any able minded and bodied individual to stop the goblins from slaughtering every non-goblin in this cave. "I understand your feelings, Asteria." Ed replies briefly as he moves away more dirt and a couple or so loose fitting rocks. His front paws were rather getting cut up and bruised from his hasty pace and power he puts into each successive scoop. "I'd be willing to help you find or even make a way out." He pulls out more rocks than soil, earning him another few sets of scratches and sores. "...but I can't leave them to fight on their own knowing that I could have done something." A particularly large rock gives him a difficult time pulling out of the ground.

Warning: Stamina Low
System: Ed

'Oh Jeez...Not now.' Ed thought as the system message popped into his head. He knew that he was using a lot of energy at this pace of digging and scooping out dirt and stones, but he didn't think that his stamina would run out so quickly and so soon. It didn't matter to Ed though, he needed to finish this as soon as possible. He can rest and complain after.

Richard kept quiet throughout the whole time he was in the debriefing room. The whole operation that transpired was nearly an absolute failure and to make matters worse, it was his very first mission as a field agent. His performance...was less than stellar at best, so much for making a good first impression to the director and the agency. Embarrassed as he was at the case; he was still an adult and even more so an agent of the BOSA. He was responsible for his actions and had to suffer the consequences they bring, may it be good or bad.

Ed stopped focusing but could still feel the exhaustion from what he had done. He didn't feel the same exhaustion he experienced the day before when he had fought in that bloody battle royale. It was an exhaustion from within, like spending numerous hours on end writing for a term paper. Ed wondered what it meant other than he was tired of focusing. A sudden message pops into his head to alert him of something.
Warning: Mana Low
System: Ed

The message reassures the young dire rat that he was making progress and maybe taking his initial steps towards his skill using mana and magic in this world. It was then Jason had alerted to the group to follow him and there was little to no time to explain his sudden outburst. He followed the slime without question and was met with another sizable group with an even more sizable number of mana crystals He was still recovering from the sight when Jason started barking out directives, apparently they were expecting something and it was bound to be a big one if they needed to prepare as much as Jason had described. It was a matter of survival and Ed was the farthest thing from willing to die.

He had scampered up closer to the defensive line and decided that the new cache for the mana crystals should be far away from its original position but not too far away. He had hoped that the new cache being ten feet away from the original be sufficient enough distance. The digging had been easy enough at the beginning, but as time past, became a more and more difficult task to do. His body ached and he wished to stop, but he couldn't. The defenses need to be made and if he had slacked off, it might cost the other's lives or even his. So even if his body wanted to -no- begged him to stop, he was determined to finish the hole for the cache. With or without the help from the others.

"Khaliya to group, we're moving out. As I'm sure you've noticed since I'm speaking to all of you directly, your suits have a built-in short-band radio. Should be able to find the controls at the neck of your helmets, but for the sake of easy communication I would recommend leaving it on open channel."
A voice suddenly broke the silence of the suit. Believe it or not, the suit does a bang up job in muffling the outside noises to a barely audible sound. He didn't expect the radio in the suit to be so loud, nor did he even expect the hazmat suit to even have a radio built into it in the first place; so when Khalia made her announcement, the sudden crisp and clear voice of the brotherhood star-paladin startles Emil and causes his body to slightly jump. With an almost lightning quick movement, Emil had raised his weapon and aimed it around the area expecting something to happen. With nothing currently threatening him or his group, he quickly lets out a relieved sigh and begins to relax himself.

Some people might say it was a little of an over reaction, but in Emil's line of work, he cannot emphasize how important it is to react to things faster than others. Many times he had nearly been done in by ambushes, traps, or other unexpected surprises and just as many times his reflexes saved him from an untimely death. Emil raises his a hand to access the controls for the radio and after a few seconds of fumbling with the buttons and knobs, he finally manages to reply. "Jeez, ma'm...You nearly made me give up the ghost out of shock there." He lets out an uneasy laugh.

@Aristocles
Same principle as before. We wait 7 days and if there is no reply from stekk we progress again.
