Pizza is a main course, but is also a pie. Therefore, I can eat pizza as my meal and have another pizza as my dessert.

Bio

I am Searat
Half sea, Half rat, All Aqueous Rodent.

My role playing career is something i consider as a hobby of some sort but as to how long i have been role playing, I would say that i have three to four years under my belt. (Though most of the times I was role playing, they were nothing as serious as this and were more of a means to relieve stress with my friends or test out ideas that came to mind with them.)

As for my preferences to genres of role play, I would have no biases nor specific preferences to any genre and would be able to adapt to the genre as best I can when placed into it.

Some of my hobbies consist of: playing games, surfing the web, walking, bowling, darts, and cooking. I sometimes write and draw things but not as much to consider it to be a serious hobby.

Sheesh...your job seems to be trying to kill you GM.
But as per-usual, don't feel bad for prioritizing IRL things.
We are patient folk and we can wait until you've rested up before we begin the RP proper.
Hey. For anyone who is interested, here's a fun little "get to know your characters" game. We'll each ask a trivial question, and all give our answers. I'll go first, and once everyone has answered someone else can pose another.

What are your character's pajamas like?

Fazra sleeps naked, but recognizes that most people prefer modesty, and she does have a robe for if she needs to get out of bed in the middle of the night. The robe is silk, sky blue on the top half, with a mountain motif in black, grays, and browns on the bottom half.

The robe is long sleeved, goes past her knees and buttons up to the throat.

That or she wears footie pajamas, take your pick

I suppose Edmund would have worn linen sleepwear but when in a rather warm clime, he'd opt to lose the top. No particular preference to the color of the sleepwear as long as it was comfortable. In hot climes, he'd go bare ass commando just to avoid overheating...or at the very least strip to his undies.
Duly noted GM.
Seems pretty entertaining.
Interested.

After sending the messages to the group chat in Discord, the one armed scout eased up a little. He still believed that he was right to suggest murdering these players just to be on the safe side but, to avoid further rocking the proverbial boat, the one armed man no longer rested his free hand atop his weapon. His gut feeling was still telling him that there was a significant chance that this would bite them all in the ass but he understood Ames. A business' first customer is almost sacred. While reaching for the fork to get some of the fried potatoes he overheard the words of the six immortals. He'd purse his lips slightly and nod his head a little. He agreed that this job was kinda bullshit. No given countersigns to determine friend from foe? No proper logistical support other than what they can scavenge from the area or loot from their marks? Bullshit indeed.

Then again...they were 'low' leveled mercenaries that swore no fealty to Mora-Sho and, by extension, were expendable assets that warranted no significant support.

Regardless of his personal feelings, Raime would keep his mouth shut for the moment being and just let the others speak for the group. Opting to instead eat his share of the crispy potato appetizer.

The ingredients were here for the most part...well something for a light snack at least. As time passed while Raime cooked, his brow furrowed as he realized that cooking with only one functioning arm was quite tricky. Tricky but not impossible...and he wasn't one for quitting. It was awkward at first; with the lack of modern kitchen utilities and conveniences he was used to, but after a little while the man managed to get a good flow. He'd probably try cooking with one arm back in real life just to see if he could replicate the process again.

Not long after the little knight delivered the bread to his friends, his appetizer soon followed. "The Brava Patatas has been served. Buen provecho. Hope everyone likes it." It was high time for the party to brainstorm about their next plan of action. No better time to brainstorm while having a good meal. "I suggest that we keep doing what we do and kill whichever players we encounter. Sad to say that we can't really distinguish a Mora-Sho aligned player from a Gakui-Re one. It's not like the Mora-Sho have an agreed upon countersign for for us mooks to determine who or who not to kill." Raime says while placing his mask down and instead picking up his share of the baked bread. He savored each bite of the virtual bread. For something in augmented reality, the man considered that this was some good quality bread.

Just as he finished the loaf of bread and was reaching for a wooden fork for the fried potatoes, the sound of the inn's door opening caught his attention. Thinking that it was Leif getting second thoughts about the snacks, the scout turned to look back only to see a party of six unfamiliar immortals fresh from a battle. The friendly smile he intended for Leif faltered for a moment before Raime realized that keeping the façade on would be for the best for the moment being. He gives the new group a polite nod before facing back to the others. He'd send their group chat in Discord a message while keeping the act up. All the while his hand finding itself resting atop his Chihanashi Mk II, ready to fight.

Raime couldn't hold back an impressed whistle when they finally arrived at Ames' fortress-type nuclei. His eyes wandered all throughout the beautifully detailed structure of the building just as they were greeted by the little knight Britomart at the entryway. "Ames is right Britomart. You've seen most, if not all, of us naked. There is no need for formalities." The scout punctuated his joke with a good natured smile and a chuckle. He'd already thought Amelia to be quite creative due to the exterior appearance of the Sweet Maiden, but the interior had him slack-jawed. "Wow...Amelia, you really ought to consider becoming an architect or an interior designer. You have a talent for it to say the least." If he had both his hands, he'd be giving the place and Ames a double thumbs up.

His gawking was suddenly stopped by the sweet aroma of freshly baked bread. Even if the virtual bodies of their avatars did not require sustenance from the food nor drink, the experience was still highly sought after. Especially by epicures like Raymond. "Don't take this the wrong way, but I'll be helping Britomart in the kitchen making us something to eat." Raime disappeared from the group and reappeared in the kitchen a blink of an eye. "Hope you don't mind an extra helping hand." The one armed scout joked with the little knight, hoping that she'd feel less awkward in the presence of players. Plus it would give him practice in the extremely unlikely chance that he would lose one of his arms in real life and, as a bonus, give his overseas buddies a taste of what his family's restaurant offered.

With a dull thud, he landed flat on his back. Only intensifying the pain he experienced from the fractured ribs. "Hooray...victory." Raime said as he reached into his item pouch and pulled out a vial of strong painkillers and consumed the contents of the glass container and felt the drug take effect and relieve him from the pain. "That ought to give me a little pep in my step until health regen kicks in." Standing up from his prone position, he walks to the drops and begins inspecting the loot of the trio they had bested. Raime was a little disappointed that most of the drops were common weapons and lots of food. "Lots of common weapons and even more food. Either they were a very important supply runner group or they were gankers that did our job for us and attacked other supply runner groups." Regardless these supplies were now Mora-Sho property.

Ames then suggested taking a little break. "I second the idea. Only safe zone we have in the area anyway." Plus they can deposit the supplies they gathered there and leave it inside. Also he was rather curious to what the inn looked like on the inside.

He should have known that the bard had some form of countermeasure against fast enemies...but he was not expecting to be forced to dance a merry little jig. The realization was not the only thing that hit the one armed scout. Just as he was about to execute the gravely injured bard with another shotgun blast, a shadow loomed over him. With a single swipe of the gigantic hand of the bard's nuclei, Raime's advantage was swiftly taken away from him. His ribs cracked and strained underneath the herculean might of the summoned mechanical automaton as each breath only tightened the giant's grip upon him. His desperate attempt to break its grip with the butt of his hand canon was to no avail. To make matters worse, the giant nuclei prepared to lop his head off in a moment's notice. Raime had little choice left in the matter. It was either he kills the bard now or he gets killed himself. Not even a heartbeat passed as he made the split-second decision.

He had to make sure that his next attack against the axe bard would be a killing one. It was time for him to unleash the Jewel of the Valiant, Claiomh Solais!

He lets the Chihananshi Mk II dangle off its air hose as he extends his arm at the axe bard below. The blackened armor shifted into it's cannon form and Raime poured 565 HP, MP, and SP into the shot. "God Searing Light!" And upon uttering his nuclei's active skill, a beam of burning light instantly projects from the cannon. He was not 100% sure of what would happen...but he hoped that when he killed the axe-bard, the giant automaton would die with its master.

His two attacks had managed to cancel out whatever the two were initially planning on doing but now they brought out their own respective nuclei. Raime winced underneath his mask as he could feel his flesh blister and boil, but there was something else that was seething within him. His heart was aflame with the green flames of envy when he saw the Axe-bard's mech like automated armor. So damn badass. He'll feel bad about it later on when they were done, now he needed to avoid a hailstorm of spearheads ready to pincushion him. Utilizing [Quickstep], the one armed scout leapt out of the spearheads. And in a fraction of a second the scout seemed to blur from virtual reality only to re-appear 80 meters away from the spears and closer to the bard. Just as he leveled the barrel of the shotgun straight out of a steampunker's wet dream, spectral wolves appeared at his side. A surge of extra power rushed through his body when he heard the Wolf Shaman's command. "Bard is good as dead!" Raime says as he used his superior Agility and Dexterity to his advantage when engaging his target. All the while shooting the bard another time to shred more armor, softening his target for to melee. It was high time that he put the combos he'd familiarized himself with into practice against another player.
