Human... disgusting human...

That thought had ran in her head the moment Mirt began speaking. Elque glared, her ears perking straight up while a wolfish growl came from her lips, he talks of demanding papers of the Noble House she serves yet he just stole the very thing she was looking for. This wouldn't be the first time humans like him played tricks on her no... she wasn't going to let that happen again, the grip on her blade returned to its usual hold, one that's ready to draw her blade.

You're all the same, entitled fleshbags who think they're better than us... we'll see who's better when I slice off your head and taking it with me as a trophy.

Mirt calling Mie an "underling" simply didn't help his case, genuinely believing that Mie was enslaved by this old bastard and was ready to liberate her from him and his quiet female compatriot.

If Mie has a plan to cool things down, now would be the time.

Again, when something is left just inform me :), I don't mind which I get, or even if I just play some less important side characters, I just enjoy the universe of fate.

Important question though: Gender bending of historical figures allowed?

Didn't stop the guys at TYPE-MOON

No seriously. It didn't stop them. =w=
I'll take whatever isn't taken after everyone else picked.

Or if they have the same mentality as me, I can take Archer.

Elque had thought them to be only human brigands but to think a lone Demi just approached from behind the pair surprised her. Mie wasn't in chains at all, she wasn't bruised, she didn't look like a slave to them and she seemed more into the plan than both of her comrades. Loosening her grip, she turned to look at the ragtag trio, her ears flicking and tail lightly swaying from left to right at the mention of "nasty humans".

Yes.

She liked the idea of punishing them but remembered her goal in coming here. She was to bring the cart around back... specifically the one they "borrowed" and to bring back Chiy-

"The only little girl here is me, though, heh...but perhaps you would be interested in helping us? I could compensate you for your troubles, if the satisfaction of bringing justice isn't enough."

"Huh?" Was all the Wolf-Cat would say, not only was Chiyo missing, she wasn't anywhere near the cart to begin with. The problem with her duty just doubled until she remembered Mie saying something about compensation. She's been in binds before and would always solve them with the sharp end of her blade but in this "illegal justice" operation that's going on...

...it doesn't look like she has a choice. Then again, these are humans she's going to punish so...

"...alright... umm... I'll do it under two conditions. You return the cart to me in one piece and without a scratch and you help me find a small human girl who supposedly got lost somewhere... I don't wanna come back and get punished." Elque gulped, a hand out for Mie to shake, she seemed a little okay around her own kind, the Demis but are wary of her two human friends, Mirt and Anyon. She's going to keep an eye on them if they try anything funny.

"I hope the Master doesn't suspect me taking too long..."

"Elque, be a dear and fetch the cart around the warehouse district. We're just about to finish up with our groceries..."

"What about Chiyo? Shouldn't we be finding her?"

"That's your other assignment, she's probably somewhere by the cart. I'm really worried, if you can find her there that'll be a relief for me.

"Ugh, fine. Sometimes I think you spoil her too much...

Five minutes ago. That conversation happened five minutes ago and upon reaching the cart. It was gone, the cart that they had brought all the way from the Ayt Forye estate just poofed out of existence... it would've been had it not left any tracks. Elque's day couldn't get any worse, irritated and angry... she believed that whoever took the cart probably kidnapped Chiyo somewhere and began running in the direction of the tracks thanks to her sense of sight and smell for being a Wolf-Cat. She hopped from roof to roof, hoping to catch the perpetrators from above. People were bothered by her whenever she hopped from each one, complaining about being reckless more than anything before taking sight of the cart moving slowly following a stone road. "There you are..." With a tightened grip on the sheath of her katana, she raced it, trying to get behind them and interrogate them with no turn behind them.

It was a risky move but she was sure she can handle a bunch of thieves.

"...can assure you such was not the case." Elque's ears twitch now walking slowly, her hand shifted slowly on the handle of her blade, ready to strike if they did anything rash.

"I don't have to wear that piece of string do I?"

She opened her mouth, making sure to be audible while her eyes stared down at the people before her. "You will be soon if you don't return that cart this instant." It was audible enough to be heard by them but not by the people near their destination. "And if you have a little girl in a black dress in there, you better cough her up too." Unknown to her, little Chiyo was off on a murdering spree someplace else.

Library of Valennia

The Stanier family and their affiliation to the Imperialist view of other Nobles were treated a little lower than their own standards by the current Republic however it did not change the influence when coming through the great Library of Valennia. Arius's own Library that is still a public hub for mages who wish to learn the arcane and master them. This was Eawyn's favorite place whenever the Royal Garnet had so much snobby nobles just slapping commoner servants with their sacks of gil.

Truly... Raelin's pride has sunk to a new low.

Eawyn thought that if she mastered the schools she has learned and perhaps revitalize True Sorcery, she can gain political influence as a legendary Mage in order for the government to change hands back to its Imperalist roots.

Alas, she has made no progress so far. Reading the same book once or twice and whenever new books come she would read those as well often times sharing the book to people who share her interests in magic mastery and/or how great if imperialism came back to Raelin.

"Ruins... ruins... no alternate entry... yada yada..." The young girl would yawn, several books stacked together on her left. "Ugh, those slowpokes at the newest ruin don't even know what's going on! I have to check on it every now and then to see if it changed but nothing significant even moved, not even an inch."

Scattered about were "doodles" or perhaps drafts about what she believed are the entrances to this new ruin compared to the "official" one brought around by highly respected Spectrum Magi. There was nothing she could do but just look on and hypothesize every path. This was getting nowhere.

Frustrated, she slammed her head down the table to which she quickly cried adorably, rubbing her forehead to ease the pain. Her eyes trail down the Dragon's Breath just dangling on her waist. It had been a day since she turned in the quest and whenever she returned to the library, she couldn't find any record of such an artifact.

There were no records of it being a Dogma just solidified into a fire crystal, no records of it being an Eikon despite its near-similar use and she wasn't even sure if this was connected to the Sage Civilization from eras past. If it was, why was it embedded on a "corrupted" Bandersnatch?

"...hmm..." Her head turned to the librarian. She had never once asked them if they've seen anything like the amulet she was wearing. Maybe they might give a hint to whatever the Dragon's Breath is?

Standing up, she walked toward the desk, amulet slung over her palm before clearing her throat. "Yes, hello? Excuse me. It's the Stanier girl again... I was just wondering if there are any other editions for magical artifacts you might be keeping somewhere? Kinda looks like this? If you can't maybe you can show me where you keep the books for the Multi-Realm Theory?" The Noblesse brought up the bright red, fiery jewel in front of the librarian. If they don't know anything maybe they can help by giving them a book not normally found in the library.

Worth a shot.

Well I've pretty much edited what I can based on your suggestions. I have some questions though.

Furthermore, Limit Break has changed in how it works, you may want to review that. Your spells are such are fine, but tier 1 spells like Fire, Blizzard, etc. would actually be valued at 3.

What changed in the Limit Break in system? It's not a special attack anymore?
