So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within.

I run a Star Wars based Meme Page on Facebook (Migs Mayfield - Core), and live my best life right now.

@DracoLunaris If you wanna post before I do feel free, In fact I'm anticipating it. If not lemme know and I'll just have Tavick yeet on over to the grumpy scarred man.
So I was considering creating a Jedi Knight (assuming the other person who had an interest hasn't responded in a few days.) Would you allow my Jedi Knight to be Wookie in species? This is obviously a very rare thing in the star wars universe (an it was de-canonized fortunately... no love for the wookies haha) so I wanted to inquire if this would be allowed.

Did I never reply to this? I had one all types out and everything. Throw up a sheet, see what you've got and we'll compete it against heats. Also there is a nice canon Wookie padawan thanks to Clone Wars.

One of my favourite chars actually was a Wookie Jedi that I played, right @Enalais?
Shorter than I hoped but I got a lot going on.

PART ONE: ROGUE TAKEOVER

LIGHTNING IN A STORM

Snart didn’t flinch as Morris Bench came right at him as a tidal wave, stopping right on front of his face. Water sprayed into his face as he spat the question at him. “Who are you?”

Snart wiped the water from his chin with a snarl plastered across his face. “The names Captain Cold. That’s Heatwave-” Snart pointed at his compatriot over his shoulder before raising his index finger and stabbing it straight into where the man's chest should be. “-You are Hydro-man and we hear you have a score to settle with the Scarlet Speedstress.” The man formed back into a form where he looked more like an actual man instead of a massive walking puddle. “How’d you like a job?”

“I’m listening.”

Should anyone have tried to determine what was going on out in the Badlands they would have likely become confused and disorientated. Lightning flashed as two vortices formed, crashing into one another. Rain pummelled the dried out dirt, while it was firm to begin with it started to turn to sludge. For most people it would have made the ground slippery, or even sticky. That was no problem however for Iris West. The Flash. As her feet came into contact with the ground, before they could even begin to sink they were gone again. The power of her speed flowing through her, every limb was electrified.

The wind roared, she couldn’t hear anything besides it, her heartbeat and her own breathe. The problem was that this wasn’t working, as the vortex she formed and the one Weather Wizard formed collided with one another she could feel hers begin to lose its momentum. She was faster than Mardon, far faster. This however was his playing field, and while what she was doing could have blown anyone else away all it was doing in this particular fight was prolonging it. Deciding to change tactics she turned tighter, jumping into the air using her own vortex to push her on and out. Straight through the one formed by Mardon, her fist extended in an attempt to catch him right in the jaw.

As Iris broke through his vortex however, Iris was just faced with a dense fog. The sound of the roaring wind dissipated and she swore under her breath. She had become so engrossed in what she was doing, so focused on trying to outplay Mardon at his own game that he had escaped right from underneath her. Tapping her earpiece to speak to Jay - “Jay, I’ve lost him. I’m coming in.”
@IAmKnight that's alright. Basic movie knowledge is all that's needed. It's all I had the first time I joined a Star Wars rp.

Marvel definitely has a lotta music that exists more in the background. The only real theme that I recognize when it starts is Cap's, and sorta-kinda the Avengers main theme. But that might just be because I've heard it so many times it's ingrained itself into my skull.

Dunno if you've seen this, but its a pretty interesting video on the subject.

I don'ttt think I'd agree with the idea that the DC movies had better scores, though. The only ones that I thought were particularly stand-out were the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel themes. Batman V Superman was...meehhh. I remember thinking a few of the tracks were alright, but it was nothing stand-out. Justice League was a special kind of garbage. Never saw Suicide Squad.

I've seen that Video. I'd argue that Incredible Hulk has a really great score during the Hulk/Abomination fight. It's definitely there. - Still one of my favourite 1v1 fights in the MCU. I'll agree while the DC films have a good score, and it's less backgroundy for sure there's no real character themes on it other than Supes and Bats. I feel like they've slipped, probably spending too much of the budget on CGI to remove moustaches.

I'd argue that Marvels really turned around towards the end of phase 3 with it's scores, there was always the Avengers score when they teamed up, but I feel that Black Panther, Ragnarok, Ant-Man, Infinity War all deserve major shoutouts for having memorable scores. I'm not counting GoTG because a lot of it isn't music scored specifically for the film but instead music shoehorned in.
A large shadow appeared over the city of Haven. Circular in shape many looked up to the sky to try and determine what it was, all those except the Imperials however who knew exactly what was arriving. It took over news networks, any form of holonet broadcast and communicators chirped all over the city as the shadow continued to grow. A sonic boom could be heard as the object entered the atmosphere, a thundrous roar as engines slowed it's descent as the occuptation dome came down. First at dangerous speeds before it started to slow down gradually, flames that initially formed due to friction with the air dissipated as the dome came into full view. Crashing into the surface in a cloud of dust, massive bay doors opened releasing speederbikes and walkers. TIE Fighters swamed out of hangars, their whine clear coming out across the city. In the bar Tavick had stopped speaking to watch the video of the Imperial Occuptation Dome landing outside of the city. Most of the bar had stopped talking throughout the ordeal in fact.

"That my friend, is the Empire." The bartender turned to pour some drinks for other patrons that had approached the bar for refills as patrons suddenly wanted to drown their sorrows in a bottle. Tavick stood up and nodded. This all made sense, the darkness was continuing to grow on the planet as the bogan infected everything. Even the wildlife was beginning to act differently, no doubt this Empire sought to spread this darkness as it stripped Maldra of every resource it had to offer. The question was how could such an undeniable power be stopped, perhaps if the Republic could be contacted then they would be able to help fight the Empire off, or even the Separatists. Surely one of the two would have something to say about this other Galactic Power carving up worlds and stripping them for resources. He turned to the multi-armed arachnid sitting beside him.

"Excuse me, but do you know someone who could get in contact with either the Republic or the Separatist Alliance? Surely there's someone that would oppose this 'Empire'?"
I know we've talked soundtracks before, but until more recently (with maybe the exception of the first Iron Man and Incredible Hulk) does anyone else think, that one thing the DC movies have had over Marvel is their scores? I always find a lot of Marvel movies to have rather forgetable scores behind them.
Post is being worked on, will be up tomorrow.
@Chev I have no major issues so will leave the reviewing to @Zarkun
