The Ties That Bind
High school sweethearts end either in two ways:
an unhappy divorce in twenty years
or
heartbreak after graduation.
The latter occurred between your character and mine.
One stayed behind and invested in the town's future
while the other moved far, far away in hopes they would
never see their home again. Unfortunately, this wasn't exactly
the case and they've had to come back.
There's a swing nearby, where the high school sweethearts would
come to swing, to make out, and to speak of their dreams.
They've met again, shocked to find each other both changed and more
mature. Unfortunately the swing won't hold any future memories, as
the stench of death wafts towards them through the field.
Who's killing small-town innocents? And does it have anything to do
with the previous couple?

Lovely Keys
Muse A has just received a generous gift of a baby grand piano from a well-off relative who’s passed. Every day Muse A marvels at the gorgeous instrument and runs his/her fingers along the keys wishing he/she could play the thing. After some time, Muse A finally resolves to take piano lessons in honor of their dearly departed. Muse B is giving piano lessons to earn some extra cash. There’s an instant physical attraction between Muse A and Muse B, but the relationship stays professional at first. Over the course of several lessons, an honest, sweet affection between the pair grows.

Braving the Elements
Nobility learn what element they've been gifted with at 21.
My character inherits an element that is like their family's.
According to rules set forth in the family’s grimoire, she must
learn to master water from a warlock who
possesses the same elemental power.
He is brilliant and powerful, but lacks in the department of
manners and compassion, especially when she shows difficulty
harnessing their new abilities. He is condescending and impatient
often without provocation. One day, she meets her wit’s end with his treatment
and she demands to know why he is so hostile toward them.
He reveals that he come from rival families and they are only
teaching her due to the terms of a 1,000 year old truce. Once
she has mastered their gift, however, the ceasefire will be over.
And the families will once again be at odds.

A Tale of Two Kingdoms
Two countries fight continuously, surrounded by rumors of war.
A prince and a princess are finally old enough to marry. Engagements
have been broken and new ones placed in hopes that war can be avoided.
The kingdom of Helios will offer their princess to help calm the storm.
When the assassination attempts continue and tempers continue to flare,
especially between the newlyweds. It is certainly a challenge, especially
since they are so different.
Not all assassination attempts are failed... neither are all kidnappings.
How will the royals deal with coming into the throne all the while suspecting
each others' kingdom for plotting?
And what if it isn't their kingdoms trying to ruin the chances of peace at all?
