Damien/Swarm - Minutemen "Headquarters"

Swarm began to walk casually toward an alleyway nearby. Its not that he didn't hear Affliction, but there was no need for the remaining members of the Minutemen to know they had powers. Getting out of their sight was his intention. The car was just within range of his ability. Strangely the child did not make any more announcements or have any indication of hearing what they said.

This pissed off Damien greatly. Without a word the car began to float toward the MM HQ slowly. Then, it suddenly whipped forward with great force in an arc headed right for the kid. If he did not move he would surely be made into paste.
Reign: Kingdom Come

Chapter 1:A - Lorenzo's Cottage

Bastian Felstead
Though the majority of the group was ready to set off, Bastian had his reservations. Namely, caring for his patient and letting his family know where he would be going. If Lorenzo decided to go regardless, Bastian would be responsible for his well being. He was making a house call. If the patient was hurt under his watch he could be out of a job. Also, his employer would pay extra for his time away from home with Lorenzo. Bastian could also use his ability on him to hopefully make Lorenzo walk again. Imagine that! The only supplies he carried on him was a medical bag with the tools of his trade inside. With Lorenzo's agreement, he could use some of their stores for food on the journey.

Col Ward
Col's steed was a perfect form of transportation for the crippled hunter. Once Lorenzo was saddled in, Col could guide his horse by the reigns from the ground. The Glittering Wood was not far from them, making their conspicuous journey less so. Col had all his supplies saddled on Merlin. Not extravagant, but adequate. As Col pondered the method of their travel, through the window he perceived a bright orange flame from a tower of the city wall. He of all the group would know this was a form of communication between the members of the guard. It was possible they spotted Col on his way, a direct violation of Bryce's command. They would need to get a move on..

Lorenzo of Windor

Lorenzo had all the supplies he needed and more for his unequipped companions. He could give out food, blankets and other items as needed from his home. His parents wouldn't mind...probably. Martyrdom could accompany him on the way. The smell of adventure was in the air, Lorenzo had been waiting for a moment like this since his accident. A time to be needed, a time to belong. His excitement was palpable.

Marque de Bourdeaux

Marque was more then ready to proceed. The longer they stayed the more likely he would get caught. What would become of his master then? Marque didn't want to think about it. Even he didn't know how long he could keep his disguise up. Choosing to impersonate the heir of Milborne was a bold move. It had many benefits, but the consequences of impersonating a noble were nothing to laugh at. However, being a wanted man already made him more desperate. As long as he didn't get caught it would not matter.
Captain Cedric D. Boone - Clock Town!

Boone was surprised to find out the old clockmaker knew who he was in a glance. Perhaps their reputation went even further then he realized. To his relief the man revealed a jolly roger tattoo. But the most curious thing of all was his immediate understanding of what Cedric carried. A log pose. Not many knew about them or even what they looked liked. To tell the truth, Boone couldn't say with full confidence he knew what he had. Regardless, the quirky fellow offered his assistance to the duo if they could help him with something.

Kite was eager to assist at the captain's behest. Cedric replied, "Now what kind of gentlemen would we be if we didn't help you out good sir? Go ahead and assist him Kite." Not only would they be imparted some useful information, Cedric could observe their new ship-wright's skill firsthand. One of the reasons he asked him to come with after all.
@Skwint its your turn bud. Thanks, we are almost there then I can post for the Glittering Wood
Captain Cedric D. Boone - Clock Town!

Boone turned to see Kite make his way toward him and question if he could be of assistance. "In fact, you can. I was planning on visiting a local watch shop to find a nice gold piece. Seeing how the island is called "Clock Town" I didn't think I would have much of a problem. Bawhahahaha!" Cedric slapped Kite on the back in a jovial fashion then continued, "But enough joking around!" The captain was unaware he was the only one joking at that time, "Let's get a move on."

With that, he headed for the dock and took his first steps on the island. It ticked, and it tocked. The noises of many clocks. Fascinating to say the least. He could only assume he was headed in the right direction. All the hands were facing the same way so that's where he went.
Mantis - Warehouse

Mantis watched as the spiderwoman began to fashion some more webs. The angel addressed the team inquiring their motives. Mantis responded from above curtly, "What does it look like we're doing? Taking out the trash."

Then Zach confronted the two new intruders. As the tension escalated Mantis began to offer support by aiming his weapon down at them. Suddenly the woman shouted and fired off a projectile that sailed through the air and ripped through Zach's head, killing him instantly. It rolled on the ground until it came to a complete stop. Mantis did not feel anything from him again..

Mantis stared for what seemed like a minute, never turning his weapon from the intruders, but eyes fixated on what was Zach. The entirety of his PTSD came back to him in a single moment as it flashed before his eyes. The bomb threat. His team. The ensuing explosion and the high death toll that he was powerless to stop. "No..no..no..." The words were barely audible, only coming out as a mere whisper. The flurry of emotion from all that trauma released throughout the warehouse in a burst as he finally yelled at the top of his lungs, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" In a primal rage Mantis unloaded his Mp5 on the perps. The silencer did its job, but nothing could quiet the pain and anguish of a man who had seen his first team member beheaded before his eyes.

All the conversation around him was completely shut out of his mind. He had but one goal, one driving purpose. To put that woman down. Nothing would get in his way. After unloading for the duration of his yell, he held his fire and brushed past Genevieve on the catwalk sprinting.

He would follow their movements outside and would take another burst at them when they got into view. The mission was on hold..indefinitely..
Mantis - Warehouse

This was turning absolutely nuts. Multiple unidentified parahumans in a single building with dangerous abilities. The angelic being caught Mantis' gaze for a moment. It was hard to look away from that bright light in the dark. The woman took the bullets like they were only mildly irritating.

As for the spider woman, Mantis felt how erratic her emotions really were. She was all over the place and her words made little sense, "Unstable at best, dangerous at worst." he thought. Axel barked loudly as she approached and growled. She wasn't on the thugs side at least. Mantis lowered his weapon as she approached. Maybe she could be useful to their team. Their masked leader then released feelings of calm into the air directed at the spider woman as well as his nearby team. They would help to eliminate any tension. Axel began to calm down. Then he replied to her, "I apologize. I couldn't be sure if you were working with them. We would like to help you take care of the rest." Hopefully she would listen to reason. Mantis would be ready to raise his weapon if she turned hostile.

Just then, another group made their way into the building yelling about Lethal Force. "Just great." he thought to himself.
Let's get this show on the road folks. Jeff, feel free to have Marque step up the pace, something like, "Time is of the essence and get going." Everyone who hasn't gone I'd like to see a post soon. When you all begin to embark I will post as you travel through the forest to meet favian.
Let's get another round of posting in fellas.
Captain Cedric D. Boone - Clock Town!

Captain Cedric listened to the injured pirate with a look of sympathy about his face. After Krabbe addressed him directly, Boone turned to meet his gaze. The bounty hunter handed Boone the most valuable navigation tool for the Grand Line. From all his years of sailing the sea, Cedric had never laid eyes on a real one. He didn't even know if they were even real!

Boone took it from Krabbe and studied it in fascination. Being an expert navigator himself; he really took navigation tools seriously...He also was wary of former combatants giving items that could result in the life or death of all members of his crew. Fake log poses were circulated from time to time. But this one was truly something to behold. It glimmered in the sunlight and was hard as any jewel he had ever caressed. This was the real deal.

Cedric pocketed the log pose within his jacket and nodded at Krabbe. In reply to John's challenge, Boone gave a confident grin, "I was just about to leave. The stench of spoiled crab was starting to get to me," As he turned to go, Boone addressed Kite with a empathetic tone, "You don't belong on this ship kid. Come sail with us. Be a part of a family again." With the Captain`s back turned it was hard to tell, but was that a tear in his eye?

After making it back on The Rum Runner, Captain Cedric laid out their orders,"Those who can still function, raise the anchors. Dirk, steer us toward Clock Town. Feya..." The captain paused when he saw the extent of her injuries, "Get some recovery." Cedric had learned that word from her and he knew she preferred it to rest. After the beating she took from Krabbe she would need it. She a put up a hell of a fight. Cedric couldn't hide the pride that showed on his face for her. Sure she lost, but it only meant that she tried. Boone liked it when his crew tried their best.

"Lilli, tend to the crews' injuries including your own. Great job out there. That magic metal of yours is something else. Oh yeah, could you patch this for me?" Cedric revealed his side with the large bullet wound. If it didn't get treated it would become a major problem.

"Bonesword, Caesar, Slick, and Dirk!" He waited until they were nearby and continued, "Fantastic work! We showed those bounty hunters who the real uh..hunters are. Bawhahahahahaha!" After a hearty laugh he slapped them on their backs in a friendly fashion, "That point blank cannon shot with your vine Bonesword? That was brilliant! And those electrical slashes Caesar were shocking." The crew would have to forgive Boone's lame puns, "Those flames made me think I was in an actual oven Slick. Were you trying to cook out there? Bawhahahahaha! Dirk, Dirk, Dirk, Dirk..where did you learn to stab that shrimp so stealthily? Even my keen eyesight was fooled!"

After some patching up and conversing about their recent victory, The Rum Runner would finish their trip for repairs and rest. Clock Town would be a much needed stop for the worn Red Rum Pirates.
