But Idk what I could suggest, maybe dropping the religiousness, I don't mean to be rude towards it if it's your actual faith, but I think it would be kinda strange to have that in a pirate, I'm sorry.
I would suggest adding some experience with handling a rifle in his history or personality because you don't have anything there for sniping or any skills in it.
I just personally feel as if they are a peaceful character or a non-violent person among people who would be annoyed by his faith or useless in a fight, I don't mean to call your cs useless but I feel as if your char just doesn't fit when we have someone like Hadovich who's all rip and tear and feel as if he'd go against us or want to leave us for the crimes we might cause, do you see where I'm going? I don't mean to be rude I really don't, but like I said I'd suggest dropping the religious part of your cs, I'm sorry but I don't think it will work here.
@bloonewb Well I'd like to remind not just you, but everyone that we're space pirates as well as people fighting against the big bad space billionares. It's more of bad vs evil.
I feel your char simply wouldn't fit from his personality, He seems more of a religious type journeying with space pirates, it seems kinda strange that a man of the faith would be journeying with us also he doesn't really know the religion that he's trying to preach to others who may or may not want to hear it from him, also he's a sniper who's mainly quiet on a team of people, when snipers work within teams they can't exactly be silent for large amounts of time from what I know. Then there's the fact you want him to be a philosopher with a group of pirates.
Plus on the other side you haven't really given him any real training or experience with a rifle, just that he was enraptured by a religion that he doesn't fully know.
@Sophrus I think you should add a bit more to the personality, besides that you seem okay really, I would suggest a smaller fighter image but I think our ship can hold it, I'd also suggest a primary but if you don't exactly want one it's cool too.

@bloonewb Um, I don't know if your character would fit in this group honestly, I think you should edit the personality and history to give him some experience or training of some sort to be a sniper really, but I mostly feel as if your char wouldn't really fit in with the rest of the group and think you should make edits.

Enviroment: The planet ranges from several different biomes, ranging from Volcanic to long grassy plains and barren deserts
Physical look: Draken are large reptilian humanoids, standing larger and heavier than normal humans on average at times with only in some rare cases for them to be shorter than humans and other races. Draken have shield shaped scales on their limbs stopping just before their torso, a sole line of scales trail up their spine and outline their faces, each Draken has a pair of curling horns growing from their brow, and slitted reptilian eyes with bright yellow irises. have sinuous tails growing from just over their behinds, fully prehensile and tapered to a fine point. Draken Their tails are covered with small, soft scales, and are smooth from tip to base. Draken tails help with balance and for ones that are born with wings they use their wings for balance during flight and can be controlled precisely enough to operate tools and assist in other activities.
Racial traits: The most notable of their traits are their curved horns and colored scales, while they do have supple soft skin they have incredibly tough scales that depend on their environment they were raised in lastly is their scaled hands with sharp almost pointed nails as sharp as their teeth that could be used as weapons and are cold blooded creatures.
Life span: For Full blooded Draken the longest they can live is 450 years, while for half blooded Draken their life span will be dwarfed to a 150 years, their adulthood is reached at the age of 20.
Diet: Draken are largely carnivorous creatures eating only meat of beings they consider lesser beings or prey, as long as it's made of meat and not poisonous towards them they will gorge themselves on it.

Appearance: Vertex stands at the height of 6'5, her face is human in shape and structure, with smooth, fair skin, and scales on her cheeks; her face was beautiful once, now it's scarred with her left eye blinded. Like most Draken her right eye is a bright yellow with a vertical slit, long dark hair cascades down her back with only a couple dark locks of raven colored hair flowing in front of her face.
Down the back of her neck and around her shoulders house sturdy shield like black scales to protect her body from damage, the scales travel down her muscular arms and wraps around her wrist and claw like hands; around her belly and sizable chest her body is more skin than scales, and due to her human side her skin is softer than full blooded members of her kind.
From the waist down black scales coat Vertex's legs, with feet ending in supple, smooth leathery soles; jutting from her back side is a foot long dark scaled tail that moves to and fro at her command, due to being part human she lacks the wings other members of her race would have.
When on the ship, Vertex will wear a simple wide neck white blouse with short sleeves to show off her scaled arms, around her waist she will have a belt that wraps around her solid waist and keeps her jeans from falling to her ankles, while she may wear pants and a shirt she will forgo wearing shoes on her own ship letting her reptilian like feet be free. While Raiding or on a mission she wears a heavy set of metal armor matching the dark color of her scales, the armor is almost akin to a knight's armor with metal covering most of the body and leaving little openings, due to it's weight and shape it's only useful to Vertex herself.

Personality: On the outside Vertex can be a brooding, cold, gruff and sometimes cynical, when it comes to her crew Vertex demands strength and loyalty from them all, she doesn't accept weakness among her crew and is quick to remind the others of it whenever she feels it needs to be brought up, while she expects the best from her own crew she isn't unfair but tries to be strict towards them.
When it comes down to combat Vertex isn't a stranger, choosing to prefer doing things she claims are the "easy way" when it comes to their missions before rethinking the strategy and remember that she has allies to think of, while she's not forgetting about her crew she'd just rather gun down her enemies with several magazines of ammo and enjoying the feeling in the moment before running out of ammunition or needing to retreat.
Despite the above, Vertex isn't without heart, while she may not show it or give the crew much praise she cares deeply for each member and know that each time they take a step off the ship it's a chance they could end up dead or at anytime all of them could be slaughtered and chooses to be the protective wall that stops them from being killed.
History:
Captain Vertex's past is filled with more violence than most would ever want in their life time; when she was young Vertex attempted to join a military to fight for a cause to find something that would give her a drive, but once she joined and passed the training to fight with heavy armor she shot her commanding officer in the face after an ambush wiped out half of her squad and they lost an outpost they needed to continue their campaign instead of being arrested by the everyone in the base, Vertex and the last remaining members of the squad held out against the rest of the base's soldiers, stole a number of it's weapons then escaped in the dead of night on a ship.
Once the squad was out of danger they all voted on a leader and at first it wasn't Vertex, instead of being simple criminals, they were first Mercenaries fighting for money under different names and with a different ship. They hid their identities behind mask while people paid them to fight their battles, kill dangerous aliens or beast, or sometimes simply deliver something illegal or too dangerous for others to transport. During one of the of their missions on a hostile world, a grenade blew up their leader and once the lasers, bullets, and plasma stopped being fired they had to vote for another leader, and once again it wasn't Vertex, but she didn't want to be the leader.
As the years began to climb on, Vertex watched as her allies fell down beside her one by one every couple years, some in her arms slowly without her being able to stop it, while some died almost instantly, once it was simply her left Vertex decided that she was gonna make her own crew with the ship now that it simply was just her by herself, she was no long going to be a Mercenary, and figured that she could make more credits being a pirate.

In the far future where mankind and aliens have formed peace, billion dollar companies across the stars make money off selling gene modification to allow humans and other aliens to modify their own genetic code to perform better in athletics or just simply look like a cool alien from an unknown planet; While the companies get rich, the people on the bottom get screwed over by the CEO leading to people living in poverty or never getting ahead and turning to a life of crime. It's so bad for some people that companies "Silence" people who attempt to report on the darker side of their actions; With new aliens being constantly found, corporations give them contracts and work them to death as free labor and even enslaving races that are unknown to the public.
With all the darkness in the Galaxy, with people disappearing for finding out too much or for having a rare condition to gene mods that gave you a third arm or leg; people choose to stand up to the corruption of the powerful by any means there's a group with a chip on their shoulder that choose to take up arms against the evil companies. That's where the Black Void come in, they are a group of "pirates" who chose to fight back against this evil in their own way, the crew of the Wyvern are people from nearly all walks of life, all with their own reason for taking up arms under their captain, while some of them have been mostly back stabbed by a corporation, some of them are there simply to cause anarchy while also striking it rich under their captain.
Their ship, The Rusty Wyvern is a customized light freighter with enough room to hold a couple fighters and still have enough room to hold most of their equipment and loot from their heist or raids; The Wyvern despite it's aged outer appearance has numerous advanced modifications to boost the ship's speed, weapons, and shields. With a Slam overdrive system in it's engines, the wyvern is able to use acceleration bursts to move quickly or perform evasive maneuvers, along with that it could also fly faster than most other ships in atmosphere. Fitted with Duralloy from capital ships, four quad laser cannons, two concussion missile tubes, makes the The Rusty Wyvern both a formidable foe and hard to catch freighter for Peacekeeping ships.
In our time of the galaxy, people have many choices, one of the choices that will impact most of the crew is the weapon you choose to kill or maim others with, and with the future being as advanced as it is, there are more ways than one to make a corpse in our galaxy besides just spacing them out the airlock.
Lead One of the more surprisingly common weapons in the galaxy, even with the invention of energy and plasma weapons, Mercs and soldiers still stick to using rifles that spit bullets, while in our day in age some people use body armor or even shield generators as a form of defense against others bullets do solid damage against shields and unarmored targets with bullets doing lesser damage against armored targets and some machines.
Energy The usual weapon for most techies or people who want to have a laser show in their palm or bodyguards who don't want bloodshed, while they aren't all perfect, energy weapons whether it be a laser rifle or heavy laser pistol do more damage against shielded targets machines, while doing very little damage to armored target, but most if not all energy guns come with a feature to stun unarmored targets to capture.
Plasma One of the more deadlier weapons of the galaxy, plasma guns are one of the more hard hitting weapons of the galaxy being able to melt armor but doing nothing to shields, being super heated kinetic plasma it also melts unarmored targets if they are fired upon enough times or have a frail form, usually people with plasma weapons steal them from soldiers in massive armies, buy them for a small fortune of credits.
Commandos are pretty much what you think they are on the tin, men, women, aliens, who specialize in fighting in the front lines, or fighting people head to head. Commandos depend on a good battle plan and tough armor more than anything else; they overpower their foes with sheer strength and determination, all while defending themselves with all manner of weapons and equipment that are made to overwhelm your opponents with sheer power, usually they are former soldiers, people with a death wish, or people who just like hurting others.
Besids just looking sharp while shooting their enemies, Sharp shooters are closely similar to mercs and smugglers, but relying mostly on far ranged combat than up close and personal combat, while all of them don't specialize in it, some sharpshooters are capable scouts and spotters for their teammates helping them get an idea of the enemy advancing on their position. Most if not every Sharpshooter is a former soldier of some kind with formal training and skills to help them in their sniping spotting and counter sniping.
Techies or Engineers if you want to be fancy, rely heavily on their intelligence and aim in a fight, but they also rely on using the technology against their enemies such as boosting their shield generators, leaching energy from enemy shields, and even remote hacking robots and turrets, one of their greater abilities are controlling multiple drones at once to do their bidding in a battle. Engineers are or formerly were hackers or people who chose to be smarter than commandos and fight against their enemies without the chance of being shot in the face.
Gunslingers, or rather a better word for smugglers, are people who have learned to shoot first in a fight and use dirty tactics to get ahead of others while shooting from the hip and being sneaky, one of their often moves are kicking below the belt and using flash bangs or the low budget pocket sand to blind their enemies while in mid combat and choose to let their sturdier allies do most of the heavy lifting in a fight to stay alive. Gunslingers are mostly people such as former pilots with impressive reflexes and quick thinking choosing the life of crime for more money than they are being paid or the thrill of nearly being killed while flying.
The Aliens in the galaxy, some are what people exactly expected them to be looking like, while others just look more surprising than other have thought. Planet filled with small green men check, planet with small brown hooded people with glowing yellow eyes check, planet of humanoid lizard people check, planet of ant-like people check, planet with cat girls or dog girls or wolf girls, check, check, check. If you can write it well enough and add backstory to the race and home world they come from, and if it's good enough I'll allow it.
