Blizzard Entertainment supports the tyrannical government of China. Blizzard Entertainment ends the careers of those who dare dissent against their chinese overlords. And they're not the only ones...

In other news, Republicans in Oregon have laid siege to the state capital, shutting down the democratic process. They have the support of right-wing militia groups who have shot at police before.

Bio

I've been on and off this website for six years now. Right now I've only barely got time for one RP, and even then I mess that up. Trying to be more consistent and online more often, because I really do enjoy online roleplaying. Hopefully, one day I'll be able to write as much as I used too. Until then, I shall brood gloomily in the shadows.

Life goes on! Hobbies change and so do schedules. I hate ghosts, so I'm trying to put myself to rest as best I can with a status and bio officially marking my departure. If I'm going to do any writing, it's going to be working on that book I always wanted to finish.

ok looks like just you two, lol. everyone else has gone dark.

update tomorrow then i guess
@Searat just some annoying real life stuff, as well as for some reason getting the impression the RP died.

nothing really worth dropping the RP without saying anything, though. mostly just me being a beta male
The raid had not gone well for Bok. When Taurl began to be lead off deeper into the woods and into rival territory, a blinding light struck Bok's right eye. Squinting, he saw a metallic glint in a nearby river. Taurl, Tovo, and Nabi continued walking. "Hold on...I've uh...got to tie my shoe!" Bok said. He looked down at his bare, green, thick-skinned feet and cursed at his foolish lie. Luckily, no one seemed to mind.

Bok went off, searching for the source of the glint. It farther away than he first imagined. A minute or so of walking later, and he found the source. A burlap back of gold coins was resting in a stream, the clear water running over the precious disks of metal, reflecting and keeping them clean. The stray goblin's eyes went wide as saucers, and he scrambled over to get a closer look. He made an appreciative noise, and slowly extended his claw towards the treasure, dropping Basher to the side as he became enraptured by the bag of coins. Picking one up between his middle and index finger, he held up it and the sun glinted off the precious metal.

"Ooooh..." Bok said.

"Oi!" A gruff, deep, and loud voice rang out. Bok yelped, dropping the coin, and scampered off into the trees and blended in with the foliage.

"Yeah, bugger off!" A... human called out. He picked up the bag of coins and fastened them to his belt loop. Bok saw this as he peaked from around a tree, and cursed. Large, overweight, with a thick black beard, wearing a red gambeson strapped on with studded leather armor, the mysterious stranger made sure the coins were on his belt. Apparently, they had come loose and fallen free.

"Knew there were goblins 'round these parts...shoulda been more careful." He grumbled as he scanned the forest, looking for Bok. Satisfied that the goblin wasn't going to ambush him, he tromped off into the trees. Bok, scared, clutched Basher close to his chest as he hid behind the trunk of a nearby tree. Once again, his eyes went wide.

"The raid! The raid!" Uncoordinated, he scrambled to his feet. He had lost track of his comrades who, as it turned out, probably didn't need his help anyway. He stumbled around in the forest for a good half hour before, defeated, returned to his camp, convinced that all of his friends horribly died without his help.

When he made his way back to camp, he saw the back end of Taurl. Secretly elated, he went over the tent and appeared behind Taurl as he heard Tovo's plight. Mortally wounded? Treant fruit the only cure? Well, this was certainly a chance to redeem himself after his embarrassing escapade.

Taurl, determined, began to make his way out of the camp.

"Taurl! Taurl! Wait up!" Bok said, running up behind him. "I heard about Tovo- we gonna save 'im, yeah? Sorry about missin on the raid. I was...kidnapped by three humans, I had to kill them and got lost in the woods. I only just now made it back." He lied, nodding rapidly.

"But, it won't happen again. Promise. Tovo, he's gonna be fit as a fiddle once I-...we, get this magical fruit."

good idea

@Rune_Alchemist@Godlikeblade@Scallop@Redmon@grandophicleide

is anyone still interested in continuing the RP? if not, no problem but I'd like you to come on over and say you're dropping out. if anyone wants to continue, i will no problem.

godlikeblade i know you just joined, but you haven't had a chance to play yet. if you still want to participate that is still on the table for you.
@Aristocles awesome. let me just go back and re-read the three pages i missed and i'll work on a post

@FalloutJacku wanna keep going?

sure, no problem.

i'll probably try something like this again with SCP. maybe one where people get to be whoever they want too
a fucking medieval robot man, who like, has no emotions but he *does* have emotions at the same time. woah good RP

also he loses track of time. so like, one time, his friends all got killed except one, and there was a big dungeon, and it was worlds most difficult puzzle but there is treasure on the other side. but the friend that was mortally wounded was like "im gonna die its ok roby"

and the golem was like "no its cool ill save u by solving the puzzle and then getting the treasure i bet there is a healing spell on the otehrs side"

then fuckin like, 1000 years later he's still trying to solve it but he hasn't even looked over at the now totally disintregrated skeleton of his friends because he's been focusing on the impossible puzzle.

so then like more people show up trying to explore ancient ruins and they're like "wtf" and he's like "stay back from my friend" and they look over and see just a pile of bones and he's like "oh" and he didn't even know, and it's like 1000 years later. metal AF. good idea for a cahractter.

Get grammar, idiot.
