As Roadhog got up without a word and headed off into battle, Din felt a little snubbed that he had brushed off her concern, and wondered if maybe he remembered being peppered with crossbow bolts by her and Ratchet. Perhaps it was just his personality, as she, and she presumed the others, had no memory of the time they were being mind controlled. As Linkle ran forward to support Minako, Linkle suggested that Din hold back and protect Michael, whose position was vital, but exposed, to which Din agreed. She found herself with Michael, the Centurion Agoston, and the hooded figure known as the Master of Masters, who had given her a keyblade. As long as no enemies broke away from the fight to come at the group, they were relatively safe.

Still, Din had noticed the Gem of Winter light up on her Rod, and figured this was as good a time to test its power as any. Standing a little away from the group, she swung the Rod, her mind thinking of the frigid season. A small sparkling white stream of magic lobbed from the end of the Rod as she swung it and landed on a patch of grass, frosting it over instantly. Back on Holodrum, as the Oracle of Seasons, Din could change the season of the entire island to Winter. It made sense that here, with so many competing environments, her dominion of the seasons would be limited. Still, this would be useful, and Din repeatedly cast the spell of Winter to spread a semi-circular line of frozen ground between Michael's position and the raging battle. If any stray enemies came their way, the terrain should provide their advance with some difficulty, allowing herself and Agoston to attack before they got any closer.

She turned to Michael, Agoston, and the Master of Masters. Since this whole thing started, they haven't had a proper rest to just sit down and get to know each other, and if they did, more bombastic personalities, like Bowser's, tended to take over. Din was usually no slouch when it came to striking up a conversation with strangers, but what do you talk about when the people you were trying to talk to came from completely different worlds? "I miss my home," Din said suddenly, "But it's comforting to know that you've got people watching your back."
Embryon

Embryon listened as the violence erupted above and ended just as abruptly. No gunshots, good. Embryon heard some talking before it became quiet. Normally, after such altercations, the perpetrators would run so as not be be caught at the scene by witnesses. Because of this assumption, Embryon exited the sewer quickly, creating quite a racket with the manhole cover scraping noisily as it was moved. After all, Embryon didn't want to waste a second in case any of these victims were close to death. Above ground, Embryon noticed three slumped figure, one had apparently collided with the dumpster hard enough to dent it. Embryon inspected the others first, detecting only concussions, broken teeth, and dislocated jaws. Embryon was surprised that these kids had been dealt with in a non-lethal manner. Embryon set their jaws back in place, stabbing a claw into their cheeks to inject some cells to repair any minor fractures and staunch oral bleeding. The other must be worse off though, given how hard he had collided with the dumpster. Embryon went to inspect that one, and detected broken ribs, among other minor injuries. Embryon stabbed its claws into this one's chest to help mend the bones, but this one was still partially conscious and the sight of Embryon induced the young man to scream. Embryon quickly pulled one hand out of the man's chest to cover his mouth, but the man wouldn't stop struggling. In the end Embryon headbutted the man hard enough to render him unconscious so that it could continue its work of healing the man. Embryon was too used to dealing with individuals who had been fatally injured. Still, Embryon realized that it had caused too much noise, and stayed above ground just a little too long. It wanted to leave, but couldn't bring itself to do so until it had finished its work, so it crouched there with its claws in the man's chest, healing him.

Short post, but it essentially passes Mushirou's turn, since Volcarona is dead fainted

Tokugawa Mushirou

Mushirou's eyes widened at the brazen explosion. As Volcarona fainted, Mushirou clapped slowly, "Marvelous...Harvey, was it? A magnificent display, doing whatever it takes to take down your opponent! Perhaps I should have attacked instead of use a support move?" Harvey had displayed what Mushirou liked to see in an ally: ruthlessness, and Mushirou's regard for Harvey increased considerably. Expecting the end of the battle, Mushirou looked over at Judas' Scizor to see if it had survived the blast or not.
Michel woke up when his alarm went off. The first thing he did was look at the training schedule that the scientists had given him. Remembering today's task, he slipped on the 'Etherion radio-control helmet', waking up a small, ball-like robot with extending hands and feet. Michel spread his arms slightly and commanded the robot with his psycho-etherion interface to pick up the straight jacket and dress him, securing his arms. His task for the day was simply to go about, interacting with the environment and people as much as possible, with his arms restrained, using the remote-controlled bot to carry out all of his actions. Thus, it took him significantly longer to brush his teeth and get dressed, as some of the finer movements were difficult to pull off with the robot's clumsy fingers.

Done with his toiletries, Michel decided to get breakfast, and headed over to the mess hall. He waited in line and got his breakfast. Seeing Victor, a fellow pilot, Michel headed over slowly, the platter of food clattering dangerously in the robot's grip. "Good...morning...Victor...!" Michel called out, though the robot lurched slightly, threatening to drop the platter with every word the boy spoke. Though it might seem insane, given this level of control, that Michel used the same system to control ten autonomous Beamstar Blades of the Promethion, the significantly larger equipment was of much higher quality thanks to its size; the miniaturization of the technology was still in its infancy, so Michel was being used as a test-bed, though it was also a good way for Michel to continue to perfect his control. At some point, Michle managed t osit down next to Victor and began using the robot hold the utensils to feed himself.

"Thanks," Din said, taking the keyblade from the Master of Masters. He had said to name it, but she wondered what would fit. A sudden flash of inspiration hit her, and she wondered if 'Charm Equinox' would be a good name for it.

Then Roadhog woke up, confused and violent, bellowing and firing his weapon. By now, it seemed most of the party had rushed off to attempt to rescue Kirby, some of them trying to explain the situation to Roadhog before running off. Though Din wanted to make up for her past mistake of letting the enemy grab Kirby, she also felt responsible for Roadhog, so decided to take it slowly with the large man. "Hey big guy, take it easy. We all woke up confused, but what the others have told you is the truth. We all came from different worlds, and that evil ball of light in the sky mixed the mall up into chaos. We're still trying to find answers, but we've decided that the best thing to do is stick together, and whoever recognizes anything from their world, we follow them, hoping they can lead us to answers, which is why we're following the big turtle guy right now. One of our friends flew off and hasn't returned yet, and another friend...was kidnapped." Din bit back her words a bit, deciding not to implicate Roadhog in said kidnapping. "Which is why everyone is in a hurry to rush ahead. Even though we all just met, we're trying to keep each other safe. I'm not much of a fighter, so I'll stay with you for as long as you need to get your bearings and let it all sink in, okay?"

Drakairos back-stabbing Thesan:

As each of the cursed prisoners left the room, a guard was assigned to escort them, keep an eye on them, facilitate their preparation, and provide directions if asked.

@Tricheus

During Ahelair's return to his clinic, a few healers from the Volunteer Corps solemnly introduced themselves, and ask Ahelair and his nurses some questions to familiarize themselves with the clinic, and the area that it serves.

Mort's escort, who happened to be a human, helps fulfill his requests for equipment, and makes an effort to blunt any potentially abrasive exchanges. Mort's escort assures him that the party will not be traveling alone, and that camping materials and food will be part of the entourage when they leave, which will include several carts and pack animals. The escort also provides Mort with a bottle of the barracks grog, it's not good, but it's strong. The books are harder to acquire, as the city libraries are only willing to relinquish extra copies, and even those they are loathe to part with. In the end, with the escort's coaxing, Mort is given a few maps of the continent, a simple bestiary and horticultural guide, a copy of the Book of Light (compiled scriptures of the Six Gods), and a historical mythology primer intended for fledgling priests. The escort also leads Mort to Administrative Center's alchemy lab, where an apprentice requisitions a small chest of sample vials of various poisons, as requested.

Finally, the escort brings Mort to have an audience with Councillor Sharmukh Isra'fil in the High Priest's office. Sitting at a desk, flanked by guards and clerics, Sharmukh invites Mort to sit, and for the escort to remain outside. "I wasn't sure whether to expect you or not, but I suppose what they say is true, 'birds of a feather...' I suppose you have come for information on our homeland? To be fair, I probably know as little about it's current events you, possibly less, as I have been stationed here in the City of Light since long before the calamity. I had more hoped to convince your...fellows...to liberate Lathesa's Roost first, though I doubt I'll need to convince you, as I'm sure you weep for our people and our home as much as the rest of us. Did you come to seek some way we can leverage the others? Or for something else?" Sharmukh narrows his eyes at Mort, curious of his intentions.

@Fiya

The escort that had been assigned to Res happens to be a dwarf. As Res looks through her old pack for money, the escort strongly suggested to Res that if she required her money back, she could make a formal request to Gudrun Harkenstone, the Dwarf Councillor. After Res washed up, the Dwarf escort waiting outside leads Res, as requested, through the halls of the Administrative Center. The escort looks around with shifty eyes as the stroll takes an unusual amount of time, before arriving at the Office of the Treasurer, the Office of Councillor Gudrun Harkenstone. The escort announces Res' intention to be led to the nearest Councillor.

Gudrun silently looks up from her desk at Res, then at the escort. "You are aware that my office is hardly the closest one to the living quarters?" The escort remains silent, though is visibly shaken. Gudrun sighs and pulls an empty parchment and begins scratching her quill on it furiously. "I am suggesting to the Lord Protector that you be flogged for behavior unbefitting of your rank and station, and for allowing your personal bias to interfere with important matters of state."

"I did it for Thromburg!" the escort retorts.

"Have some Dwarven Dignity!" Gudrun shot back. "Divine Law is...?"

"...mithril." The escort finished.

"And Dwarven Law is...?"

"...iron."

"Our people did not become great through subterfuge and dishonesty. Go find your replacement escort for this elf," as the escort leaves in shame, Gudrun looks at Res again, "Since it seems, based on your request, that you do not care which Councillor you speak with, I suppose I'm as good a place to start as any. Sit, and let's talk business. I do not much like the idea of 'bribing' you and your party to liberate 'my city' first, but as you can see from the behavior of your ex-escort that we all desperately want this nightmare to end."

Also, I will say that Mort can fly, but the heaviest armor he can equip is leather armor. Unless his Job as Regional Manager of the mines involved wearing heavy armor and flying.
For now, I am going to deal with each character individually.
