Personality: Outwardly, Safia is as loving, god-fearing, and pure as her habit suggests. However, under her coif and veil, she bears a heavy cross: she’s a fervent fujoshi, a devout shipper, and a prolific fanfic author. She sometimes has trouble reconciling her faith with her fetishes. Safia tries to be “the big sister,” but often ends up teased instead. In her free time, she locks herself up in her room, eats junk food, binge watches shows, and gets into flame wars online.

Backstory: Left as an unwanted child on the doorstep of a nunnery, Safia was raised to be pious, devoted, and wise. She played the part well, showing extraordinary talent in memorization, diction, and oration. Her faith was strong. Her love for the lord showed no signs of wavering, though she swore only simple vows.

And then she got access to a computer.

Anime, manga, visual novels, web novels, internet forums, nothing escaped Safia’s gaze. She maintained her duties as a sister, but otherwise spent nearly all her free time online. In particular, she found herself writing fanfiction and gaining notoriety as a (rather degenerate) author.

Still, she managed to keep her secret identity on the down low, and even gained favor with the Vatican, to the point that her skill and loyalty to the Church was determined to be a valuable asset.

And thus, she was whisked away to Silver Gate Academy–to learn and practice magic, of course, but also to further the understanding of faith and magic, and possibly even reconcile the two.

Weapons: The Bible. It’s literally just a Bible with a bunch of sticky notes and highlights embedded in its pages. It’s slightly magical, able to hover next to her and flip through its pages on its own. It was a gift from her abbess.
Gear: Her habit is blessed with various spells to protect against both physical and magical blows. She carries a holy symbol around her neck as well. Underneath her habit, she also usually carries 3 vials of holy water.

• Spirit Boost - As an Earth Human, Safia has a wellspring of inner power waiting to be tapped into. 40% boost to Spirit when over 50. Currently: Inactive.
• Devotion - When casting spells, Safia has a 20% boost to CHR. Also, once per encounter, when a hidden trigger is activated, she gains a 50% boost to INT and WIL for one cast, once per encounter.
• Hidden Desire - She keeps her interests hidden from others, and so has become quite good at that. When handling books, she has a 10% boost to DEX, and can flip through the pages at record pace. When hiding items, she has a 15% boost to CHR as she lies through her teeth.

Major Skills:

• “The Lord gives wisdom.” [LVL 1, 5pts] - Magic taught to members of the Catholic Church. Based on prayer and memorization of scripture. Power increases with faith.
• Protector’s Arc [LVL 1] - An elemental spellbook focused on support and defense.
• Archture Academics Volumes 1-3 [LVL 1] - A series of spellbooks with various uses.

Minor Skills:

• Mystic Dream ~ Protector’s Arc [LVL 1, 5pts] - Allows the caster to reduce the Cost portions of their spells by one rank within a Major Skill. This can only be obtained once per Major Skill, and costs as much as the Major Skill’s learning cost.
• Umbrella [LVL 1, 2pts] - Allows the caster to create an aura around them based on the supportive or healing spell they’re casting at the cost of more magical energy.
• Fortress Cast [LVL 1, 2pts] - Allows the caster to 100% cast the spell they are casting. They in essence become immovable, but are also susceptible to damage.
• Spellcaster [LVL 2, 4pts] - Allows the user to stack 3 minor skills on a single spell.
• Self-Execute [LVL 1, 2pts] - Allows the caster to target themselves with their spells.
• Focus Pose [LVL 1, 2pts] - While casting, if Safia kneels and prays, her spells gain a slight magical boost.
• Focused Mastery ~ Aegis of the Divine [LVL 1, 2pts] - Allows the caster to reduce the difficulty of one spell to the lowest rank. This can only be obtained once every 50 points of Intelligence.

Support:

• Heal - A simple healing spell, the very basic. Heals light wounds, and with time can heal heavier wounds too.
• Cleanse - A spell that expels harmful elements from the target, mainly used to remove or suppress poisons
• Healing Veil - Cast a veil around a target that regenerates them over time.
• Revitalize - A powerful healing spell that also restores a person's energy, allowing them to be energetic again.
• Cleansing Veil - A veil is cast around the user, causing everyone within it to heal slowly over time, while simultaneously being cleansed of harmful elements.
• Invigorate - When cast on someone, it restores their stamina, and increases their physical capabilities for a short time.
• Call of Might - Gives one target a sharp increase in their physical prowess for a very short amount of time.
• Scan II - Created by Utsumi Shichimori, a much more advanced Scan spell that has 2 or more Scan interfaces for the user to view. Most mages never thought to enhance the Scan spell as everyone was able to use it, so the modern interface is very telling of how new it is. It doesn't give new information, but it does track multiple entities.
• Lightdash Stride - A simple spell that moves the user quickly on a path of light. The user need not make an action but are free to do so during this.
• Rallying Banner - A spell that conjures a banner that increases the potency of spells and boosts everyone's physical attributes while they are near it. The range is quite far, but the closer you are to it, the stronger the effects. This spell can also be destroyed if the enemy attacks the banner.

Defensive:

• Flashbarrier - A quickly cast barrier that can negate spells or deflect melee attacks. Not particularly strong but can be disruptive.
• Bright Barrier - A stronger barrier, but slower to come out.
• Knight’s Vow - A cast-on spell that gives the user magical armor. It only needs to be cast once, but once it is, it stays until the user chooses to remove it, or it is destroyed.
• Ward of Shields - A spell that creates an area that defends those within it from physical and magical damage, or at least dampening it. The spell lasts until the user says "dispel" but until then, it will drain the user constantly. They can actively keep it active while fighting too.

Offensive

• Lightforce - Calls forth a pillar of light from the user's desired point of firing. Fast and powerful, and long range.
• Rain of Light - This is a missile type spell made from light magic.
• Heavenly Sword - Summons a blade of light above the target. The size can be quite large, usually reflective of the user's both skill in magic, and magical capacity. This spell is noted to be highly effective against unholy beings such as undead or demons. The blade will come crashing down in a brilliant cascade of light.

Summoning:

• Shield Squire - Summons a tiny knight made from light magic. It has the use of doing small duties like writing notes.
• Page of the Sword - A bit bigger, about the size of a child, able to do chores.
• Knight of Radiance - The actual combat-ready summon. A large knight of almost 3m in height, able to fight independently or in tandem with the caster.
• Aegis of the Divine - Summons the Advanced summon, the Aegis. A powerful knight that can not only fight independently or tandem with the caster, but also increase the caster's attributes. It also has a Caster mode where it will cast various spells with no cost to the user's magical reserves. Safia refuses to use this spell unless the most dire of circumstances arise, as it drains her greatly, even with her focused mastery.

Tsuda Chiyo seems to bring a cloud of miasma with her wherever she goes. It's not from the smell of her slightly-greasy hair, nor is it her hyena-like laughter. Rather, she brings with her a potent aura of fujoshi energy, swirling around her hunched form like a cloak of protection. Her warped imagination knows no bounds. Two boys talking about the next basketball match? Homoerotic tension. A senpai consoling his junior after a breakup? They'll be dating next week. She's not afraid to hide it, either. Chiyo will go out of her way to put others in "ideal situations," then watch them to see what happens. Refuse, and they just might end up as the subject of her next doujin.

Her online persona isn't much different. Chi-sensei commands a small legion of several thousand like-minded followers on Twitter, producing yaoi fics, art, and other such content for fictional characters and real people alike. Her persecution complex reveals itself in full on the web, and she's gained a sort of infamy for her invasive actions.

ＨＩＳＴＯＲＹ

Tsuda Chiyo always had an eye for romance, able to spot a primary school crush from kilometers away. She knew all the gossip, the drama, the secrets untold. As a child, she was the de facto matchmaker for her friends, able to set up a first kiss situation with ease. But she was never the one being matched.

Not until she was 14, at least. She fell for a soccer player by the name of Nishimori Aito, and she fell hard. Daydreams, love poems, little sketches in class, she was completely and utterly obsessed. She even wrote a love story between him and herself- nothing crazy, just a tale of a first kiss.

Eventually, she worked up the courage to confess, and presented all her creations to him.

"Creep."

Her heart broken, Chiyo's love turned into hot, burning anger. She wrote multiple stories of Aito, placing him in horrifying scenarios of death, despair, and torture, then handed out copies to her entire class. The stunt earned her a week-long suspension and completely devastated her reputation.

Afterwards, Chiyo found herself alone. Barely anyone would speak to her. No more matchmaking, no more gossip, no more secrets. Her only solace was the net, where she could write and post whatever she liked without fear of repercussion. She started creating BL, and soon found a niche market in the fandom of a popular show. Still, a part of her longed to see romance more tangible than lines on the internet and characters in a script.

Then, a stroke of luck. Her father and mother picked up jobs on the other side of Kyoto and decided to move just in time for Chiyo's freshman year. New people, new district, new romances to create. Maybe even a special someone...? Whatever the case, Chiyo knows things'll be different this time.

didn't do much in 2020, really. Seems like the only RPs that I'm in that got anywhere were the ones that I GMed. So uh... I guess I'll be GMing more?

Actually, no, scratch that. I've got my hands full with this wonderful group in TFT right now. My resolution is to make an excellent RP that will inspire others to do the same!
