Sort of. Sorry, I really didn't explain that bit well. Basically, the characters will be normal people who receive powers or gear from/based on a fictional setting.

YGGDRASIL: Defenders of the Multiverse

Formed by a coalition of heroes, the organisation known as YGGDRASIL watches over and protects the multiverse. They aim to prevent or counter the abuse of extradimensional travel, from enslaving less advanced worlds to destabilising timelines. However, YGGDRASIL doesn't have an unlimited budget, and many of its operatives have their own worlds to worry about. So when an investigator reports on several seemingly unrelated minor incidents, it's hard to justify calling the big guns in.

Detective Hiiro Yamada found himself in such a situation. Unable to call in any experienced heroes, he convinced his superiors to grant him limited access to YGGDRASIL's armoury to outfit some new recruits from a world without its own supervillains or giant monsters to worry about. The first world on his list of incidents would even make a perfect training ground!

As a result, a number of strange blue portals opened on Earth, on footpaths, floating in the air or even attached to the front of a speeding truck. The portals vanished when the new "heroes" entered, leaving no sign they had ever been there.

So, basically this is a multiversal RP where a group of characters from Earth receive powers or gear from/based on a fictional setting and are sent to other worlds to handle incidents caused by unknown dimensional travellers.

While I'm not expecting everyone to be identical in terms of ability, I will reject characters that are too powerful...or too weak. After all, it wouldn't really make sense to give someone the power of "gun" to deal with technologically advanced aliens, wizards and whatever other superpowered things the party will encounter, and if someone can single-handedly wipe out any threat they face, it can leave the rest of the cast feeling a bit redundant. "Joke" characters are probably also not getting in.

As Turbo, her physical abilities are enhanced and she gains access to the Bike Gamer. Using the Jet Combat Gashat, she can become the level 3 Bike Combat Gamer, equipped with a jetpack and twin miniguns or attach the Combat Gamer robot to her bike as a booster.

Background: During her first year of high school, one of her classmates introduced her to the urban legends of the Kamen Riders. Since then, she has held a keen interest in them, to the point of maintaining a website dedicated to rumours and sightings. After graduating, she began studying at university for a future in journalism, hoping to get to the truth of these mysterious heroes. Naturally, she was one of the first in line for the release of Chronicle.

I think the power level mentioned in the OP is kinda inaccurate, since basically every character people have signed up with is so far below that level. It's probably better to look at the rest of the cast as a gauge for the general strength characters should be at?

And sorry I haven't posted recently, to be honest...I really can't think of anything to contribute to this scene without just repeating someone else's questions.

I think the ideal solution would be not having a situation where intervention's needed in the first place? There's too many characters in one place for a fight breaking out to be a good idea, especially given the reason for them gathering.

Lucia frowned at the news that these girls were just as lost as she was. At the very least, it showed her that who or whatever had brought them here must have been taking victims from more than just one plane. She raised an eyebrow as electricity sparked off of Mikoto's head. Was she another mage? The thought of learning about magic from another world danced in her mind for a brief moment...

Only to be replaced by the scent of...whatever it was and a young girl's attempt at singing. The knight placed a hand over her stomach, she had been waiting for her allies to return for dinner when she was taken, so the delicious aroma was rather distracting. Besides, someone who was setting up a shop and selling food couldn't be as lost as they were, right? So investigating the source was the most reasonable course of action.

"Shall we take a closer look?" she asked.

She was hesitant to invite herself to join the duo, as it seemed a little rude in her mind. However, with the alternative being leaving a pair of unarmed children (even if one seemed to be a magic-user) in a strange, mostly abandoned town like this, with goddess-knows-what potentially arriving from different realities, it was her duty as a knight to accompany them. And maybe she could ask about that magic later.

To make matters worse, the place is dynamic- ever growing and changing. Every day (and sometimes not even that), new locales and characters are shunted in this place to stir up even more trouble.

I imagine that bit would make keeping up with a map kind of a pain.
