History/bio: Born and raised in Nowhere to a long line of Sicilian witches, Terry Archeletta is the current Chief of Detectives of the Erehwon Police Department (an almost empty position as he is one of the only two detectives in the department). Growing up in a Witch family that not practiced one of the more frowned specializations, but who's patriarch openly practiced necromancy in his police work, it was no surprise that the boy would grow up strong. His father was careful to impart all of his wisdom to his son as he grew up, teaching restraint above all else as he brought Terry into his circle of magic. This would prove invaluable in building his sense of moral character as he grew older, and he quickly established himself as the kid to take on any bully in his neighborhood.
Not surprisingly, this would lead him to follow in his father's footsteps in becoming a police officer in Nowhere, both in the mundane world and the supernatural. Passing all of his tests with flying colors, he quickly proved to be an exemplary officer on the force, even if his magics didn't make him popular with the supernatural citizens. Within four years he was promoted to detective, and four after that he was named chief of the department's tiny branch. Since then he's proven himself to be a strong proponent of law and order, if a bit cowboyish in his execution, always ready to protect his town's citizens in both worlds.

The detective groans as he takes a long sip of the sweating bottle of Budweiser, his jacket draped over the back of his chair at the bar table, and his shoulder holster worn openly with the shining pistol still tucked under his arm. He looks at you with a tired and weary expression."Alright, before you say a thing, yes I am a necromancer and no, I have never attempted to start the fuckin' zombie apocalypse. I'm just a cop that doesn't need to do as much legwork. 'Our magic is to protect, never to enslave'. My father recited that like scripture. Suppose I took that to heart if I ended up on this job. It's good work, but good luck gettin' any appreciation for it when you solve the case by jus' askin' a corpse what happened. Was always like that I suppose. Everybody loves to imagine Mortifero and necromancers are like Frankenstein. There's a few like that, but we keep that population low. I'm sure you can understand why.
Fine. Life-story time, try not to be disappointed. What? We can't all have tragic tales. This ain't a TV drama. I was born and raised here, my family's a real long Witch line from Sicily. My father left for Nowhere in 1968, met my mother in '70, you guess how it goes. We started out in New York like every other Italian in this country, did honest work and, when we settled in with the other supernaturals, we carved out a niche. Turns out Mortifero make fantastic police, so they put us to work. Been that way for four generations, and I'm the latest to take up the family trade. We ain't Guardians or anything like that, we're just normal, mundane cops. Someone's gotta look out for the little guy. Been at this for 23 years, and I won't be quitting any time soon."
