Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Jessica Bunny: You live in America! College is optional (and expensive) and around you is opportunity. I believe you can make it!

I WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON THIS RP!
Sorry it took so long to get a response up! Been kinda busy these days.
Charlotte

She was barely even paying attention to the movie. In all honesty, she had only chosen it for lack of better things to do - and Charlotte hated that feeling intensely. It was no surprise, really. For over three years she had spent every waking minute guided by a singular objective, and pursued that objective like mad. Breaks were things done to regain energy, energy to be used to accomplish more meaningful tasks. It was small wonder why she had such trouble interacting with Dragon and Roxanna on the day they met; her social skills were all but nonexistent.

Back to the matter at hand though, the young girl was truly wondering how long this state of ennui would last. She understood, perhaps more than a child her age should have, the gravity of what she had committed, and yet she found that she would have preferred a more immediate punishment as opposed to simply waiting like this.

She wanted to do something, anything to ease the listless feeling.

She wondered perhaps if it was her simply hating the feeling that she was useless.

Roxanna's friend was missing. From what she had gathered she was a hero like her, an Epic that went by the alias traveler. That being the case it was hihgly likely that she got involved with something dangerous - Roxanna was worried out of her mind, and Dragon was doing his best to help her; the only thing she could do was persuade her to involve him in the first place. It worked somewhat, and her lovers presence calmed her down enough to stop pacing everywhere, at least.

Still, and this irked her more than she deserved to be, she wished she were out there doing something to help. With Aida and Cheshire, she was sure they could at least find something.

In any case, Dragon had returned, and almost predictably, nothing had turned up yet. She had to hold back a sigh of frustration.

"Just some movie, Dragon," she responded politely. Not that she thought about it, she didn't even know the movie's name. It was unusual for her to miss details like that, even for something as mundane as this.

She was about to pause the movie and speak with Roxanna, to help her somehow, when the volume suddenly kicked up.

∆I can protect you, but only if you stay there, understand?∆

She whirled around, surprise evident on her face. She had passed part a minute ago. She stared at the screen intently, and at Dragon's words, she shook her head.

"I say, 'tis not me nor my kens doing, Great Wyrm," said Cheshire, suddenly materializing from atop the fridge where he was perched, a grin on his face. "Nay, tis not any of our doing, truly. Might it be perhaps, a glitch in the matrix?" He snickered at his own little joke.

Charlotte had little time to indulge him. "No, it isn't us Dragon. The T.V.-"

And again, it rewound, the same scene, the same eerie message. And it kept repeating, stubbornly refusing to move further than that.

∆I can protect you, but only if you stay there, understand?∆

"I . . . think that someone is trying to tell us something," she said, her quiet voice tinged with just a hint of trepidation.

@Regitnui @Old Amsterdam

@Lord of Evil

This one you'll have to figure out for yourself~

Hahaha, took me only a second to see what was wrong.
@chukklehed Yep! We haven't even gotten started to be honest.
And while I was gone, some really nice ideas popped up. Still, I kind of like @Rune_Alchemist & @Ebil Bunny's idea. Playing an underdog guild sounds fun.

@grandia20 @Forsythe @Spanner @jynmi88 @Rockin Strings @Guilty Spark @Joker892; just tagging you guys in case you're still interested. I was gone for a bit and didn't have time to work on the OOC, but I'm back now.
The doors the cafe burst open, followed by thunderous peels of laughter, and in walked in a ball of energy that could outlast the sun.

"I'm home~!" she announced cheerfully, her arrival turning heads for a variety of reasons. Of course, foremost was just how loud she was in the otherwise silent cafe, but there was also the factor that she was beauty on par with Delilah; a beauty of a different taste, but a beauty nonetheless. Whereas Delilah was like a lily, blossoming gracefully under the moonlight, Mia was like a summer sunflower beaming up at the sky.

While she didn't work here, she did live in the cafe, so she was a common sight for many regulars. It was fair to say that plenty of them were here for her as much as they were for its elusive owner.

"Hi Suzu~!" she said, passing by the Jorogumo, before pausing to stare at the priest she was serving. The pause lasted for only a second before the devil shrugged and bounded towards her King, closing the distance between them in seconds and enveloping her in a smothering hug.

"I'm back Dells~! Didja miss me?" she asked routinely.
@PaulHaynek ETA on our characters?
Someone give me a rundown of what's happening please. I'll see if I can get a post up by tomorrow.
@Lord of Evil No problem mate, I was the one who suggested it anyway. I'll have a pic up for you in a week or so, after I finish Mia's own.
