Wildest thing I learned was that the Mistborn series is loosely tied with the Stormlight Archive in this incredible novel universe Sanderson is making.

I think The Long Night was amazing. The Battle of Helm's Deep for GoT, and it pulled it off wonderfully.

This is a bit late, but 2019 has officially been blessed by Tom Brady. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
Bio
Yo! I'm Torack, you can call me Jay!
I've been RPing for a long, long time. I blame it on my overactive imagination, but it's a wonderful medium to put all these creative ideas into some sorta use. My favourite genre is fantasy. Straight up fantasy. It can be high fantasy, low fantasy, dark, modern. I love fantasy, grew up with it. I also like sci-fi, dystopian settings, etc.. Characterization and character driven stories are my favourite type of RPs, I like seeing them grow and change and the way characters react to completely shit and horrible situations. It's always a fun time.
Personally, my hobbies include reading, although recently the only types of reading I've been doing is from text books ffs. I like sports, any type of sport really, except soccer. My legs are way too clumsy for that sport. Music is something I love, R&B mostly, although I'll listen to mostly anything.
I also love pie. Pie is life, especially pecan pie. It's damn near traumatizing knowing that I haven't eaten any in like five years. Sad times.
While on the road, he came to a stoplight and leaned back on his chair, his fingers drumming on the steering wheel, idly looking at the cars ahead of him and the various shops on either side of the road when he felt his wife’s gaze on him.
“Why the sudden need to go to the bookshop?” She asked.
“I need to put more protection spells around the house,” he responded just as the traffic lights turned green.
“I thought you already put protection spells around the house.”
“I did. Just not the right kind, you know.” What he wasn’t telling her was that the spells he needed had to be strong; ritualistic type of spells that could not only negate a few powerful spells, but alert him if someone he didn’t want waltzed into his home. And for a spell like that, he needed several grimoires of protection spells so he could weave the rituals together, make his own unique blend to alert him wherever he was.
“And I’m guessing you don’t know the right kind, eh?”
“The blessings of books,” he said wryly as they pulled into the parking lot of the small store. It was between a small business donut shop and a dollar store; the sign above the door in a strange, overly dramatic gothic font.
Taking the keys out of the ignition, they both walked into the store with a bell chiming above them. The interior was dimly lit with rows of bookshelves lining the centre isle. Behind the front desk Damian saw a young woman lazily reading a book, barely even registering they were in there.
Sharing a look with his wife, Damian and Jessica walked forward between the shelves and began browsing. He showed her a card from his pocket, “look for something with this symbol or that word on the spine,” he said and watched her walk off to another isle to search as he began his own. Several long minutes passed as he went from isle to isle, pulling out various grimoires and spell books and thumbing through them.
Most of what he’d found were basic protection spells, or personal charms one would use to protect themselves or an item. And although the books were basic, as this wasn’t any sort of place to find hardcore rituals, some gems were present, which was why he’d went there. Deceptively powerful and simple spells with unique ways of doing their rituals which he could pull from to make his own.
“I’ve found something,” his wife called out several minutes later.
Putting back the book he was holding, he walked over to the isle she was in and took the book she was holding out for him and began skimming the pages. There were various powerful spells in this book, but none that he needed currently; but more interestingly were the various artifacts listed in there as well. Some from ancient Egypt and some that were alien altogether.
Intrigued by the book, he kept turning the pages, quickly skimming through the number of artifacts until he came upon a page depicting the Scythe of Athocreta, a large scythe with a black blade lined and trimmed in gold. He began reading through its description when his vision suddenly started to blur and shift.
He was no longer in the library. From the strangely coloured sky and the design of the city around him, he doubted he was even on Earth anymore. Looking around, Damian saw a figure in black and red robes some distance away with gray skin streaked in red using the scythe’s power to kill hundreds of individuals at once, the power of their souls being drawn into the scythe as though it were sucking them in. Screams rose around him, and moments later they vanished, cut off. He watched the figure fly up and Damian followed him, watching as he went through various alien cities, more screams rising into the air as hundreds vanished at a time.
As suddenly as he was pulled into the vision he was out, back in the bookshop, a deep chill going through his body as his face paled.
“Woah, honey, you okay?” He heard his wife’s voice ask, as though it were behind a glass.
He felt the the power of either the scythe or the figure he’d seen in his vision, a distant pulsating force getting stronger with each passing moment. The magical energy it was giving off blasting into his head, threatening to crack his skull, driving him to his knee.
Then the pressure eased, not disappearing completely, but remaining as a distant thrum. His hearing came back in full and he looked up at his wife, using one of the shelves to help him stand. “I need to go,” he said.
Hey there everyone! I apologise in advance because I'm not really good at making these, but I'd thought I'd get an interest check out there!
So, first of all a bit about me in bullet points!
I'm in uni, so I can't always post everyday, but I can give at least 1-2 posts per week
I'd consider myself an advanced writer. I can post anywhere from a paragraph up to a 1k scene depending on what's going on
Even though I'm a guy, I can play any gender or any role. I prefer a MxF pairing, but I can be convinced for others as well!
I love to plot, so expect a lot of talk on how we want things to go in a particular story, or how a character might change, etc.
I'm a sucker for romance, and sorta want them in all my RPs. Just to add in plot will always have a far heavier focus than smut for me (think 70:30 / 80:20)
I love apples. I honestly believe they are the best fruit in existance and I will die defending that!
So now that we got that out of the way, what can you expect from me as a partner?
1-2 posts per week minimum
Anywhere between 250 to 1.5k words is usually my golden range
Lots of plotting and character development, world building, and all that great stuff
Friendly banter!
Me trying to convince you apples are the best fruit ever
Drop friendly - if you ghost feel free to come back whenever you're ready to start up again!
Here are some things I expect from my potential partners:
Contribute to the story. Drive the plot forward, don't just take my lead. You wanna drop aliens outta the sky and throw away everything we planned in a massive fantasy universe because you'd think it'd better serve the story? Do it! I love that sort of initiative
1-2 posts per week minimum
To give me two paragraphs minimum; at least something I can work with
Up for romance being a major subplot in many, if not all, of our RPs
Now to some plot hooks. I'll be adding some more to these later, but for now!

It is said that there's an island hidden deep within the Shattered Isles filled made entirely out of gold and treasure, amassed by a pirate lord known as Captain Dorado, and hidden away from the rest of humanity upon his death. The Shattered Isles are named thus not only because of their shattered and haphazard arrangement, but because of how many ships were destroyed trying to reach Dorado's island.
There's a rumour that a young woman, a descendant of Dorado, knows how to traverse the Shattered Isles and get to this island. Many think it false, but one particular captain decides to take this young woman on his ship to see the truth of things. But on their voyage through the Shattered Isles, they find that they've probably chewed up more than they bargained for.

Hordes of demons surge through various gates bringing near absolute destruction in their wake and as a way to combat this, special soldiers now called Hunters have been tasked with taking them out. These Hunters, having demonic blood coursing through their veins, are stronger, faster, and more capable than the average human. Specifically designed to hunt demons.

Four Keys meant to protect the world from the undead have been protected by an immortal hero for four hundred years deep in a Jade Palace floating through the heavens. Upon meeting an old friend however, the Immortal Hero, Jian Yang, is slain and the Keys stolen.
The Ten Yama Kings, now released, are unleashing a horde of undead across the continent and seek the final Key to release King Yan and thus throw the world into an eternal darkness.
Your Character, having found the old sword of Jian Yang, discovers the Immortal Hero's soul is bound within the sword, cursed by the Heavenly Kings into an Oni with the ability to appear into the physical realm and speak into the mind of his wielder. With the sword in hand, Your Character with the help of Jian must try to retrieve the Four Heavenly Keys to send the Yama Kings back into the underworld before they find the last Key.
If any of the plots don't catch your fancy, I have several pairings we can work out a plot for:

Profile
Appearance
A slim, lithe build with dense almost eloquent muscles underneath her skin, Arosha can be quite intimidating. Especially when taken into account her vibrant skin colour, gold eyes, and no-nonsense type of face. Her skin, a vibrant amber mixed with streaks and dots of brown course through her face and body, with thick lekku that dangle down to her mid-thigh and an equally thick set of mentrals that curve upward into a sort of crown. Their shade a light grey streaked with vibrant teal. Apart from her eyelashes, she has no visible hair along her entire body but does have to parallel scars running down along her back and a transverse scar on the right side of her abdomen.
Her usual attire consists of muted colours when she's out in the field: black, fitted, combat uniform underneath a dark grey anti-blaster chest piece that covers her entire torso and upper shoulders. On her face she wears a dark helmet with retractable visors along with an integrated comm-link. When away from the field, she usually wears clothes as vibrant as her skin. Flowing robes of bright yellows, reds, with adorned gold and silver jewellery.
And just like her clothes, her face lightens considerably when she's not on out on any mission. Constant smiles with bright, friendly eyes. Usually accompanied with a friendly, almost care-free attitude.
Background
Arosha was born within a large, almost war-like tribe within the planet Shili. And was daughter of the powerful and infamous warlord Zavro Tye who had dreams of conquering the other tribes and bringing them under a single banner. From a young age, her father made sure he brought in scholars from the various core worlds of the Republic to teach and school the young Arosha. She was taught art, Republic-approved philosophy, and statecraft with the hopes that she would represent Shili in the Senate.
As she aged and her knowledge grew, she spoke with her father and managed to convince him, after months of dialogue, to stop the war in order to start peace-talks with the other tribes and resolve the conflict peacefully. She travelled throughout Shili, exploring the wild grasslands and vast, deep valleys as she went from tribe-to-tribe, convincing them of the prosperity they would have if they joined as a single, united people instead of isolated tribes.
And because of the Togrutite's strong belief in unity, she managed to convince most of the tribes to fold and join her father's banner. Some refused however and continued to hound the unified tribes as dialogue and trade-agreements and defensive pacts began with the core worlds of the republic. Arosha was then sent to Coruscant to represent her planet's interests.
She stayed there for several years, slowly working her way up through the senate, working to get her world and its interests recognized and was present when Supreme Chancellor Palpatine declared himself Emperor. Shocked, she asked the senator she was working under if it was wise to support Palpatine, to which he said it was indeed extreme but the best possible option they had to protect the galaxy and ensure its prosperity. Trusting in her senator's words, Arosha continued serving and growing her influence in Coruscant, fully expecting to become a senator in the new Imperial Senate.
Her advancement stopped when she heard a large pirate fleet attacked Shili and was exploiting the resources of her people. Upon going back, she boarded the pirate fleet and learned from its captain that they were commissioned by the Empire to attack her planet to sway the trade deals towards the Empire's favour. As she was deliberating what to do next, she learned from one of her friends still in Coruscant that the Emperor dissolved the Imperial Senate, thus further convincing Arosha that Palpatine was a power-hungry despot.
Angered by what the Empire was willing to do, she went back to her father and demanded they fight back against the Pirates, only to learn that her father was in on the plan. Horrified, and feeling betrayed, she went to the few remaining isolated tribes and after being imprisoned, managed to convince them she was willing to fight for the liberation of her planet. And it was during that time that she met Raki Syzua, a member of the rebels and nephew to Shaak Ti, who told her of the true atrocities of the Empire.
No longer doubting the evil of the Empire and Palpatine, she fought against the pirates and her father's forces who were enabling and protecting their operations. Their efforts lasted years, with little to no fruit and all throughout that time, her rage at the Empire grew, peaking when most of the friends she gained were killed or captured by the invading storm troopers after the pirates had been removed.
She fought off the invading troopers with guerrilla tactics, wasting their resources and leaving their men dead and wounded. Giving them no chance to rest until news came that the Emperor had been killed. The liberation front now emboldened led an assault on the storm troopers and killed or imprisoned what remained of them.
Arosha spoke with her father during the aftermath and after his arrest, begging him to plead guilty to the charges of treason and endangering the lives of the Togruta and their livlihood, which would spare him the death sentence. He instead gave her the cold shoulder and was promptly executed after the trial along with his advisors and generals that defended their actions.
With nothing left on her planet but pain and hurtful memories, Arosha left Shili to travel the galaxy helping other systems where she could against the Empire. Upon hearing news of a rebel fleet amassing in the troubled Dynali sector, she promptly went there and joined up.
Outlook and Motivation
As a Togruta, Arosha strongly believes in unity and teamwork. Having gone hunting in the plains and forests of Shili have taught her how many can work together to accomplish what a few could not. And the importance behind teamwork and reliance upon others. She relies on her team and those below her as much as they rely on her, believing strongly that if they work like a well oiled machine, very few things can stop their plans.
Her demeanor and the way she acts around others changes drastically depending on where she is. In the field she is cold, hard, and ruthless. A no nonsense type of attitude that's willing to do just about anything to prevent the rise of a second Empire. When she's away from the field however, she's almost the complete opposite, believing that she needs to let go of her hard, outer shell in order to be effective when she's on a mission or directing one. She believes that rest, above all, is one of the main reasons of her success.
As an intelligence and recon officer, she wholly believes in the means justifying the ends. Arosha will do anything at all to prevent something like the Empire taking over the galaxy again. She will kill, destroy, or sabotage just about anything if it will hurt the Empire and stop them from expanding and consolidating their power. Having watched her planet ravaged by war and her father killed, she will stop at nothing to prevent something similar from happening to another.

Skills and Connections
Guerrilla tactics
Having been part of a liberation front fighting for the freedom and the rights of her people against Empire-led pirates and storm troopers, Arosha understands and is capable of leading guerrilla tactics. Her tactics when it comes to this, like many other guerrilla operations, is to sabotage, waste resources, and endlessly harass with quick skirmishes. And although she far prefers recon, she's capable of stepping into a command role for a squad of skirmishers.
Recon and intelligence gathering
Ashora believes that her species evolved to perform and be part of recon operations. Her montrals allow her to detect movement around her ultrasonically, thus giving her and her kind an advantage in either slipping past or taking out potential threats. Just as well, her feet, which are almost always bare, allow her to sense the vibrations of the floor below her. And although not as refined as the way she can "see" with her montrals, it allows her to easily slip in and out of places she shouldn't be in.
Diplomacy
Not the most favoured skill in an army, but she is a skilled negotiator and diplomat, although what skills she had have rusted over the years. With practice however, she believes she can regain the silver tongue of a senator and the quick wit needed to maneuver through the galactic senate.
Connections with the powerful
As advisor to a Senator during the reign of the Empire, she came into contact and formed bonds with various powerful individuals. Lobbyists, merchants, and traffickers. Her role in the Senator's team, among advising him, was to get dirt or persuade the powerful into funding the Senator's efforts and backing him and his party when they needed the finance. Thus, she has a few outlying debts owed to her.
Flaws
Arrogant
There's a certain level of arrogance needed to have been part of a team in the Galactic Senate during the reign of the Empire, and another level of arrogance to believe one can become a senator. An outcome of her environment while she was in Coruscant, Arosha can be slightly demeaning and can sometimes look down on others as insignificant if they're not part of her squad or within the regiment she's in. This can often lead to her underestimating her enemies and believing herself and her men far superior in all ways.
Deceitful
Having been betrayed by her own father and the Empire which she once revered, Arosha isn't the most forthcoming individual. In fact, she can be incredibly deceitful and often plays loose with the truth if she can get away with it. Telling her squad they're going to be doing one thing, only to have them do something entirely different and far more questionable. It doesn't come from malice, but rather because she has difficulty in trusting those around her not to betray her at any moment. There are very few she trusts, and to those she tells the truth.

Became an advisor of a Senator during the time of the Empire and was next in line to take the Senator's place

Fixed all the stuff you told me about! I left out her reflections on the differences between republic and imperial era as I thought it'd be a lot more interesting exploring that IC-ly and her struggles of not seeing the despot nature of Palpatine and the guilt of being part of the system that enabled him.
Damian walked out into his living room dressed to go out: a simple grey tee and a pair of denims; his wife, Jessica lounging on their beige sofa, her laptop in front of her on the coffee table and a pair of headphones over her head, engrossed in whatever show she was streaming.
Sitting down on a nearby chair to put on his shoes, Damian wondered if he should interrupt his wife and convince her to follow him. She’d been saying for a while that she wanted to be more of a part in his new life. Ever since his powers came, he’d been careful not to divulge anything too insane to Jessica, but she insisted that she could handle whatever he could throw at her.
Leaning over, he tapped her ankle. She turned to him, half removing the headphones.
“Heading out?” She asked.
“I’m going to a nearby library I just found nearby,” he said as he started doing the laces on his shoes. “Wanna come along?”
“To a library?”
“Well, more of an occult library.”
Jessica sat up, an eyebrow raised. “Really? I thought you wanted to keep that sorta thing to yourself."
“I did, but this could be like a date. A really dark sorta date.”
“How romantic,” she said dryly, but stood up anyway. “Give me a few minutes to get ready.”
He nodded and watched her walk off. A few moments later he heard the shower turn on and he pulled out his phone, idly going through his social media feed, his mind however was drifting away as it usually did. He’d been deliberating whether or not he should take her for a while, trying to figure out the pros and cons of involving her more into his life and whether that would endanger her. But had ultimately decided that who he now was had done enough to endanger all of his loved ones’ lives and he could at least help in regards to teaching her a few protection spells.
If she wanted to learn of course. Damian leaned back on the chair and crossed his legs letting out a sigh. It had been several months since he got his magical powers and life was… the same. He’d expected his life to change drastically, for the hero life to come knocking on his door and send him off into whatever adventure there was. Instead, he continued living his mundane, everyday life as if nothing had happened. As if he wasn’t an extremely powerful sorcerer.
It had certainly made life far more convenient. He didn’t need to stand up anymore to get the remote, he didn’t even need to touch the damn thing. He didn’t need to commute to work — although he still did in order to keep potential eyes off of him, save for when traffic was exceptionally bad. Practical jokes, whenever he was up for doing them, was something of a fun past-time. A bit immature, true, but the reactions of bewilderment from a randomly moving broom in the middle of a ward or papers suddenly disappearing were hilarious. For a while anyway.
At least the practical jokes on his wife were an endless source of amusement. Who knew resigned annoyance could be more hilarious than absolute confusion.
A few minutes later Jessica walked back into the living room dressed in casual clothes. Pocketing his phone, Damian stood up and made his way over to the car with her and once inside, pulled out of the driveway.
Character Personality: Damian is a very thoughtful individual. The type of person to think his way through things and carefully weigh his options before committing or jumping into anything serious. He is sometimes seen as hesitant by some because of this or even cynical considering he doesn't always make a choice just because it's the right one, but based on how it'll affect things down the line or if it'll have severe repercussions later on.
He's the type of individual to constantly look at the bigger picture, and because of this he can seem a bit calloused as well. Having a career as a forensic pathologist has certainly added layers of thick skin and has numbed away most of his compassion, something he believes he had to sacrifice and cut away in order to continue and advance his career. Although a very nice individual, he does see others as little more than walking constructs made from organic flesh.
Due to his time and career spent with the dead, he is somewhat awkward around others. But he does have a level of charm about him that he's retained before entering his pathology residency. However subtle, it does pop out from time to time and often reminds him of what he could've been, or how he could've been as a person had he chosen a different profession.
Uniform/costume: A black hood trimmed in gold that covers his face in unnatural shadows and continues down as a cloak with the same colour palate. Underneath the cloak he wears a black and gold bodysuit, with golden hieroglyphs running down along the lateral side of arms and legs. On his waist is a silken, gold-dyed cloth wrapped around with a loose end hanging down like a loin-cloth. And on the centre of his chest is the symbol of Anubis
Origin Info/Details: Damian was born into a family of doctors, his parents, grandparents, uncles, and aunts all physicians with a few outliers here and there. As such, he was expected from a young age to follow in his family's footsteps. Schooling however didn't come easy for him despite his parents constant demand that he get better grades. What he was good at however was sports. Specifically basketball. He would find himself playing ball outside constantly whenever he was done with his homework, or sometimes even sneaking out before getting it done to play with his friends.
Eventually he made it into his varsity high school team and in his senior year his dreams of becoming part of the NBA, a dream he'd had since middle school, were shattered when he completely tore his ACL and partially tore his LCL in his right leg. After the surgeries, he graduated highschool and eventually got into medical school. It was there that his fascination with the dead began, and the physiology behind death; and although his first forensics lab and dissecting a recently deceased body shook him, he slowly grew numb to it as he did more and more forensic labs.
After medical school and getting placed into pathology, he chose a forensic subspecialty in order to focus more on the aspects and causes of death.
Years later, during a week long medical conference in Cairo, Egypt he decided to go touring and visit the pyramids. During the tour, he and his friend, Chris, paid the guide to take them into the Grand Pyramid. While they were inside, Damian heard a whisper coming from the walls of the pyramid and at first ignored it, thinking it was nothing more than shifting sands. When he heard it again louder, his curiosity got the better of him and he decided to investigate, following the whispers through narrow corridors until he came upon a chamber with a black and gold sarcophagus.
The whispers grew louder and louder as he drew near. It was then that the guide came into the chamber in a panicked state telling Damian to pull back. But instead, he touched the sarcophagus and instantly collapsed.
He found himself in a strange room surrounded in golden braziers, and in the centre was the massive form of Anubis. After a short conversation, Anubis told Damian of the troubled and imbalanced world above, and that he was chosen to correct and sustain that delicate balance. Damian was instead confused, saying that he didn't have the capabilities to protect anyone, and thus Anubis spent centuries with Damian teaching him the theories of ancient magic and how to cast various spells.
Centuries worth of forgotten knowledge and experience was learned, he met the ancient Egyptian gods, befriending some, making a few enemies, and living several lifetimes in the underworld.
When his learning was done, Damian came through in a hospital with his friend and girlfriend both present. Confusion written all over his face, Chris told him that a week had passed since he'd touched the sarcophagus. He was discharged later that day and booked a flight back to Portland where he told Jessica, his then girlfriend now wife, of what happened while he was in a coma. AFter not believing him, he showed her his powers and told her to keep it only between them, that no one, not even his parents could know of what he now was.
Hero Type: Mystic
Power Level: Cosmic
Powers: Damian's powers come from the multitude of spells that he knows and has learned from his time with Anubis. They come in the form of:
Magic Projections - Damian can create and release magical projections as a form of long-range attack. He can minimally change the shape of the projections but not the property.
Force-field Generation- As a defence, Damian can create magical force-fields around himself to deflect magical, physical, and energy type attacks for a short time.
Magic Reflection - Damian can reflect and deflect simple spells and projections cast against him. Or even dispel the magic entirely in some minor cases.
Magic Detection - Hood as an acute sense for magic and can detect subtle magical energies being around or in a planet if he focuses. The stronger the magic-user or spell, the easier it is for him to detect.
Magic Portal Creation - One of Damian's favourite spells is portal creation in order to teleport to wherever he needs to get to immediately.
Magical Telekenesis - Another versatile spell that Damian has in his arsenal as more of an ease-of-life type of thing. The versatility of the spell allows him to use it in many situations both in and out of combat.
Magical Flight - He can use his magic to fly, and often uses this with a small force-field to go into incredible speeds without damaging himself.
Attributes (Select one at each category):
Height: 6'2" Weight: 190 lbs Strength Level: Average Speed/Reaction Timing Level: Average Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: 4 hours Agility: Average Intelligence: Genius Fighting Skill: Trained Resources: Large
Weaknesses: Physical attacks are his main weakness. Even with his magical defences, he's incredibly susceptible to physical damage and a punch that would normally kill an ordinary human would also naturally kill him.
Since all of his powers come solely from magic, any sort of anti-magic artifact or spell would render him as an average human.
Supporting Characters:
Jessica Connors - Wife
Tyrone Connors - Father
Mona Connors - Mother
Chris Dalesworth - Close friend
Henry Fisher - Close friend
Sophia Connors - Sister
Damian walked into the living room and sat down, a troubled look on his face. He'd received his orders a day prior and he still hadn't left the city. It seemed almost... wrong. This was the first time he had to do something like this, and yet he knew that this day would eventually come. For the past several months he'd been off saving civilizations from planet busting tyrants and mad men bent towards the destruction of sentient life.
He felt as if he was making a change, he could see the immediate effects of his actions of the relief and gratitude he received on his various missions and he could predict the long-term outcomes. The eventual growth in population and restabilization of order. And even with his latest order he knew he'd be doing a greater good. Or at least that's what he predicted.
Feeling a hand on his shoulder he looked up to see Jessica sitting next to him, a concerned look on her face. "You okay?" She asked him.
"Not really," he said with a shake of his head. "There's a ruler in a distant planet I have to kill.
Jessica frowned. "Not very different from what you usually do. He's a tyrant isn't he?"
"No. He's probably the best thing to happen to that planet. Everyone's full, happy, prosperous."
"Wait... then-then why do you have to kill him?"
Damian stood up, his normal shirt and pants changing into his black and gold cloak. "His continued rule will lead to overpopulation, which will, according to Anubis, slowly destabilize the economy of the local star system. He's death will prevent an eventual disaster."
Jessica stood and walked in front of him, he watched her lift the hood from his face. "Are you sure? Are you certain this information is true? Aren't you the one who said destiny and fate are constantly fluctuating?"
Damian nodded. "They are, but what am I to do, Jessica? Let it happen on the off-chance that it won't?"
"You're not an assassin, Damian. There has to be some other way."
He looked away. "One life to save billions. If I don't kill him, I let countless lives fall to ruin and suffering. I can prevent that. With one death."
"And how do you know if you do kill him that outcome will just happen anyway? How do you know it won't get worse?"
Damian was silent for a moment, then put on the hood and floated back from his wife. "I'm sorry," he said as a black portal ripped open behind him. "I can't sit around and do nothing. But if there's another way, I'll look for it." Then he was gone.

Profile

Sad times.
