Heyyyy I'm back. :D First two characters dropped now, couple more to follow.

Rei slid off from her spot on the table to make her way down to the class, making little effort to see if Hel was following. She had other things on her mind. Power development. Powers. She didn't really need a more developed power. Less developed power would be good. Less insomnia. Less looking half-dead. Less...

Rei sighed. No point in wishing for things you couldn't have. Least here she might be able to get some education. Take it for what it was worth. Least she might get the comparative fun of freaking some people out.

Hel meanwhile, slipped off her chair, leaving the breakfast all but untouched, and made an effort to follow the group. Her shoes were still untied. It didn't seem to worry her a whole lot. She was sufficiently short that keeping up with older residents was more than a little difficult, and it was necessary for the younger to near enough jog in order to keep pace. She was rather out of breath by the time of her arrival at the class.
"Current plans are sitting here with my head on a table waiting for the sweet release of death but if that doesn't pay off guess I'll go with whatever's planned."a slumped-over Rei responded to Violetta's question without lifting her head off of the surface. @OliveYou
"And 'sleep' would be kind of giving it too much credit. It was more like 'stare at the ceiling for six hours, fall asleep for one, then be woken up by having your room invaded by a haunted munchkin. Standard really. Don't really sleep well."

Hel was evidently listening in, but didn't seem especially upset or apologetic about being referred to in such a way by Rei. If anything she seemed rather pleased at the acknowledgement, kicking her feet around idly beneath the table as her feet nowhere near touched the ground.

As the food arrived, Rei went to the effort of pushing herself up on her elbows, taking a pancake in one hand, and taking a bite out of the edge of it. She wasn't terribly hungry, but she also didn't really want any questions that might come from turning it down. It was aroun that point that Rei caught the look of discomfort from the new guy in regards to her revealing his ability. @XrazieVice

"Well there was no point dancing around it. You do make slime. My power's grosser than yours and I'm not scared of talking about it. My name's Rei and I can grow bone spikes out my shoulders or synthesise tentacles or put eyes on my hands like the freakin' pale man. I'm like the lego of physical traits cept with way more traumatizing bone crunch sounds." she shrugged her shoulders and twisted butter knife around in the centre of a pancake.

Hel, meanwhile, was sitting with her head leaned on one hand, using the other to push the food around her plate with a fork. Since her arrival the girl had taken very little interest in food, and the morning was no exception.

@XrazieVice"Huh. Slime. That's a new one. Guess I can't talk though. Well, welcome to paradise or whatever." Rei responded with a shrug of her narrow shoulders, before the topic of eating breakfast came up.

"Yeah, it's in there." Rei muttered with a vague wave of her hand before making her way in that direction. Hel lingered behind briefly, eyes still lingering on Axle.
"I don't make fire." she remarked casually.
"I do other scary stuff, but I don't make fire."
With that the younger turned on her heel and walked in to join the others.

By that point Rei had already walked in wordlessly, found a seat, folded her arms on the table and dropped her head onto them. She couldn't really care less about actually eating. Years of existing on a diet of sparse amount of junkfood occasionally supplemented with things rather more...unpleasant as a means to bolster her ability, hunger was a weird thing to puzzle out.

"New dude makes slime and hates fire. So y'know. Do with that what you will." she muttered, uncertain if anyone was listening and not really caring too much to lift her head and check. Rei had never seemed to be overly worried about making connections with those around her. Heck, she'd gotten one she'd never really asked for and having the devil child following her about was far from ideal.

Hel, the devil child in question, made her way in and hopped up onto a chair, albeit with a small amount of effort between her short stature and the untied shoelaces. Much like her older counterpart, the young girl seemed to be giving the food very little attention, mostly occupying her time with unravelling a loose thread on the sleeve of her hoodie. She regarded the people present, but seemed as content as usual to keep any knowledge she was gaining from such a thing, to herself.
Rei was making her way along the corridor in no particular hurry, never being one in particular to concern herself with social convention. Also she was approximately half awake. Combination of a poor night's sleep and being disturbed by the little devilspawn following her about-

THUD.

Something, or rather someone, crahsed into her at some speed. Rei let out a cry of alarm that sounded, for a moment, oddly inhuman in its frequency, pupils contracting into tiny vertical lines as she sprang back, narrowly avoiding treading on Hel. Seeing the figure on the floor she loomed over him for a moment, her mouth opening to speak and displaying pointed canine teeth...had they been there earlier?

"You wanna watch it? Don't know what the hell is such a big deal you've gotta be Speedy freakin' Gonzales round the corridors but it can't be that goddamn bad because nobody's screami- ...why are you...are you sweating jello?"
Rei tilted her head as she abruptly shifted gear from anger to puzzlement. The guy appeared to be dripping slime. In a vague sense she guessed that such a thing might gross out the average person.

Of course when you'd once manually reformed your own arm from the bone outward you sort of gained a lot of perspective on what constituted gross. If anything she was a little bemused by it, and bemused a lot moreso by the dramatic apology of the individual. It was sufficient that she didn't really feel she could carry on chewing him out.

"Turn it down a few notches dude. It's really too early for you to be so twitchy. I'm not going to do anything. Just don't do it again."

Hel peered round Rei, watching the young man appraisingly with large, red eyes.
"He just got here." she stated, adopting her usual, slightly ominous monotone.
"He doesn't like the fire."

"Huh, is that a fact?" Rei asked, rubbing the back of her neck with one hand. @XrazieVice
Insomnia had always been a bit of an issue for Rei.
She was pretty sure something about her weird physiology had shorted out her body clock, because she rarely found herself getting a good night's sleep.
Being in a situation that was was still pretty dubious about wasn't really helping with that.
What sleep the mutant had managed to get was abruptly brought to an end when she was alerted to footsteps on the floorboards, and awoke to two bright red eyes inches from her face.

She tumbled into a sitting position against the opposite wall with a yelp.

"HOLY SH- Hel don't do that!"

Whilst the teenager's reaction was one of alarm, the younger's expression was one of distinct impassivity. The girl stood there, already fully dressed in a green hoodie, leggings and red tennis shoes. Unlaced, Rei noticed.

Possibly a pint-sized genius, though still not sure how to tie her shoes. Wonderful.
"It's morning." Hel stated.

"I noticed. Kinda occupied right now pipsqueak. Don't you wanna go bother a responsible adult?"

"No."

"Or find someone closer to your own age to play with?"

"No."

"Is there anything I can say that will get you to go away and stop staring at me like you're trying to eat my soul?"

"No."

"Right, guess I'm up then."

A few moments later the form of Rei sloped out of her room with Hel at her heels. Whilst her young companion appeared to have been intent to dress for the occasion, Rei was a lot less concerned in that regard, and was still wearing the garments that made up her pyjamas,a pair of shorts and faded, oversized T-shirt depicting the album cover of some death metal band. Her long, silvery hair hung in thick fronds down to her lower back and she walked around with all the good posture of a swamp monster.

She didn't really have that much concern about running into other residents in her pyjamas. It was one advantage of having an ability so inherently abhorrent and disgusting as fleshcraft, that really there was very little you could do to lower yourself in someone's estimation. She figured if someone was put off by her with uncombed hair then they stood no chance of speaking to her ever again once they watched her bleed bright green ichor instead of blood.

Now she was out though, where exactly were they going? Hel was, apparently, following her, and attempting to ask the kid any questions was a bit like trying to get blood out a stone. One word answers. Vagueness. Or just no response whatsoever. What should people do in the morning? Eat breakfast she guessed would make sense.
"Okay, well, unless you got anything to say about it we're gonna go find some food. Speak now or forever hold your peace or whatever."

Hopefully it was already getting taken care of, however it worked. Otherwise it was going to be cereal or a granola bar for a kid. Would be a little bit counter-intuitive to save some kid from the streets and then kill her with food poisoning.
@KatherinWinter Okie, edited profiles in a way that should hopefully work better with what you're goin' for.
