Depends really on how James casts it. Does he require overt hand gestures or loud chants? Does the blessing create light from the caster? Do the blessed start glowing with Source? I'd have to see what you come up with to know.

Give it a try >:)

Lol yeah everyone seems to be dealing with things very well. Shock and adrenaline, plus non-stop sensory data, is maybe the explanation, if one is required. Poor James lol
@Indrajita@Dark Cloud@Calle The magical energy that flows through all existence - Source - makes it so that everyone can understand the Common Tongue - English.

...I guess. I never thought about it that much. Let's keep it simple.

That is, not to say that other languages don't exist though. But Common Tongue is. Well. Common.
@IndrajitaLol, I have a feeling Kyouka is gonna be hilarious at times throughout this story.

I made a discord but the first player I sent the link to doesn't have discord, so I scrapped the idea and decided to run the RP fully through PM and OOC
Lol np

Things will slow down soon, I promise
Clive the myth. Clive the legend.

They say, back in Texas, folks were gonna name a street after Clive... but no one crosses Clive and lives.

Commander Vadim Jalmer rushed through the town, gathering guardsmen as he past them.

"You. With me. And you. This way."

By the time he was on Main Street he had a score of men with him. The old and grizzled commander of the guard wasn't sure what to expect, but he was ready for anything. On approach, he saw that residents were gathering at the landing sight of the stone tablets that fell from the sky. That much already told him that whatever was happening was safe. For now.

"Out of the way," he barked, pushing through the crowd with his cohort.

When he got a clear view of the Hommas' town square, his steel-blue eyes scanned the scene. The stone tablets were quite a bit bigger than expected. And it appeared that they had passengers. He approached cautiously, but walked tall, authoratively and unafraid.

"What is the meaning of this!?" he looked upon the group, seeing that they all bore the gift of the Source crystal. Bloody adventurers with their unique brands of trouble making. After seeing one of the houses was half-destroyed, his anger rose. "Speak quickly, or I'll arrest you all this instant!"

He started walking among them, giving each a closer look. His sword arm tingled. He was ready to draw his weapon at a moments notice. Commander Vadim Jalmer was famed in Hommas for his skill and had endured many hardships, defending this backwater town from the fury of the wild. He may or may not be able to match against an adventurer party. Probably not if they were experienced. But he NOT would bow to them, and they WOULD follow the law, Mother Iris be witness.

His men fanned out and drew their weapons. Twenty guardsmen, making a half-circle around the group, ready to rush in and subdue the threat.

"Get your arse up!" one of the guards shouted at Adam, approaching him sternly and waving his weapon to usher him towards the group. "Don't make any sudden moves."
@IndrajitaWdym? Like, the order of CS's means later approved characters died later in the real world timeline, so later approved Cs's would know about the earlier deaths? I'd be interested to hear this lol
Name: Adam Phillips
Age: 18
Country on Earth: Michigan, United States
Appearance: Adam has short brown hair and is about six feet tall. He's also fairly muscular, weighing in at 190 pounds, but you wouldn't know that by looking at him though. The clothing he wears tends to be practical gear for whatever activity he's doing; a thick jacket in preparation for colder weather, for instance. Really, he would be indistinguishable from most if it weren't for his red eyes, with the unusual color being something many people have commented on before Adam went to this new world.
Personality: Adam is a calm, level-headed sort of person, preferring to take the time to think about a problem before acting. He isn't particularly talkative but is loyal to those he cares about.
Brief Backstory: Adam had a fairly typical life, growing up in a middle class family with loving parents and a little brother. Growing up by Traverse City, Michigan he was surrounded by nature. Activities like hiking, skiing, fishing and four wheeling were regular occurrences. This instilled a deep respect for nature in Adam, causing him to want to be a park ranger after graduating from high school. Tragically, before he could apply, he got hit by a drunk snowmobiler and died.
Adventurer Class: Druid
Starting Common Gear: Fishing pole and assorted equipment (e.g. lures, bait etc.), a knife (meant more for preparing meals, but can be used in combat in a pinch), high-quality boots, jacket, and other clothing designed for rigorous outdoor use.
Special item: A translucent orb the size of a standard bouncy ball with an amazing looking rainbow-colored leaf inside. Adam has no idea what it's for.
Notable skills or abilities: Plant manipulation (e.g. creating vines to attack enemies), healing (not nearly on the level of an expert healer, but it helps), camping skills (making a fire, gutting a fish, etc.), an instinctual sense if something is wrong with nature (e.g. corruption of the land or something)
@Dark CloudClive rules lol before the end of this, a bard will write a song about 'the legend of Clive' and have a thrust of inspiration that helps usher in a whole new kind of music called Source Country Rock.
I think I messed up with the character count because I left Zapdos off the @everyone list. Theres 7 of you, not 8 lol

@TeyaoThere's actually another coffin in the town square too. So you have a choice out of the two. I'll edit the IC now.

@Dark CloudThe two to three post max per round is for when players need to back-n-forth with conversation or quick actions. At certain times in the story, for example, when battle starts, I will let everyone know that the posting limit is strictly once per round.
