Not far from where the ferry was setting shore, Kjolmar and Eevee noticed some pokemon they had never seen before. "Let's see what our new Rotom-pokedex has to say about those!" Kjolmar's pokedex, newly upgraded, popped up out of nowhere and scanned the pokemon they were looking at.

Yungoos. It wanders around in a never-ending search for food. At dusk, it collapses from exhaustion and falls asleep on the spot.
Gumshoos. Patient by nature, this Pokémon loses control of itself and pounces when it spots its favorite meal—Rattata!

Eevee noticed something and roared in front of himself. Kjolmar looked up and gasped. "Whoa! There is one really big Gumshoos. Should we battle it?" Before they could do anything, an equally big Raticate and some smaller Rattata appeared not far from them. "Is that Raticate? It looks so different than the ones I've seen before. Wait a minute, didn't Rotomdex just say that Rattata are Gumshoos' favorite meal? Should we do something?"

Kjolmar, a blond boy with blue eyes, arrived at Melemele Island with an Eevee by his side. They looked around at the sky like they were searching someone. "It must be here somewhere, we saw it for sure! Maybe we need to draw it out by showing our strength. How about the Island Trials?"

Eevee seemed to hesitate and Kjolmar frowned. "Hey buddy, I know I haven't been a good trainer in the past but I promise you that all of that is going to change from now on! We have been given a second chance." Eevee still seemed to hesitate but smiled a little this time and nodded.

Anyone up for exploring Alola? Here's some basic guidelines for the rp:
- You can have maximum 2 pokemon on you at the start. I was thinking we should go slow in building a team. This way we can give each pokemon a well developed personality. So don't rush into a 6 pkmn team.
- Obviously no legendaries. You can befriend them if you want but you can't catch them.
- Please give your character some background or specific personality, it's not only about the pokemon.
- You can be from any region.
- About 2 posts each week is a good average.
