M'kay, good to know, good to know. Thanks for that. :3 Likewise, I also though Gryffindor was the best fit, but since you brought of Syltherin, I thought I'd put in that info. Thanks for correcting it.
Um, I may be completely wrong here, but I'm pretty sure JK Rowling said something about how bloodlines and family actually are a factor as to determine where one is sorted? For example, people from the same families tend to be in the same houses*, and since Slytherin valued blood purity, that's also an influence. Not to say that everyone from the same family will be in the same house and that no one who's halfblood or muggle born could end up in slytherin, but I'm pretty sure it was mentioned by JK Rowling that it was a factor. Personally, I say Gryffindor works best as well, but if you think Slytherin could work, well, you're GM, and there is that factor. I'll try to find the source of this info if it's iffy. It's been a while since I've last read up on this...
Sorry about this being so late. Should have the CS up by around 12:00 PM ETS at the latest, I think.
Hi there, and thanks for the feedback. This is what my friend said in regards to it. "Hello there, I usually start it looking like a flat surface; the bone structure becomes more apparent through shading and colouring. Thank you for your feedback. " If you don't like how it turns out, 'tis fine with us; I'll simply not include it. It will still have a written description, so it should work out fine. :3
I'm almost done. Just working on the history and my friend is starting her drawing of the character (Natasha). This is very rough and is extremely WIP, and there will be changes made, such as the neck, (which we've already begun to make thicker, but I don't feel like taking another screenshot), but I'm wondering if this sort of style is okay with you? I just want to know in advance so that we can make any changes if needed. It's less than halfway done, so...
Eep, I've been a little unclear, haven't I? I'm sorry about that...What I meant was that I'd upload a bunch of our old(er) art so that you could sort of pick out a specific style you'd like in advance, so that I/she don't/doesn't end up working on a picture you don't end up liking. Besides, I'll probably end up using it elsewhere anyways, so really, it's no problem. Anyways, I'll have a written description as well, of course. Probably won't supplement one for the other. Already begun working on the CS and whatnot.
Selena: Chestnut and Unicorn for wand, Hufflepuff for house. Show me the picture and I'll tell you. I don't mind illustrations or cartoons, though I do prefer they be semi-realistic at least.
Alrighty, then. I'll just have to, um, actually draw it first. Probably get my friend to draw as well, since my art style is rather far from realistic, if I'm to be honest. Plus hers is so much prettier... XD I'll try to get up some examples and whatnot, so then you can pick and I'll (or she'll) know what to aim for.
@Gisk I'm guessing the answer to this is a no, but... So, I know you've said not to use anime pictures, but what about something like cartoon, semi-realisism, chibi, etc? Or are actual photographs all that's allowed?
Also with Inks. I love the idea of the third one, as well. :3
I'm with Inks on this one. :3
